It was fantastic! Waiter was amazing and food was top notch. Definitely recommend.
Amazing food, overall service was great, our waiter wasn't our favorite, but host made up for it,
Our appies came very quick, quite a delay in our entrée but overall still exceptional.
Will definitely go back!
The restaurant was located within the village, so it’s easily accessible. They were offering a 3 course meal for $40 which included all of their menu options (some with an additional upcharge). The food was tasty and prepared as ordered. Unfortunately though, our waitress was unfriendly and discourteous, which ruined the overall experience at 21 Steps.
At the end of the meal, she mistakenly threw away half of my meal. When it was brought to her attention she denied seeing any food on the plate, although all 6 of us in the group saw it, and then proceeded to state that she “couldn’t turn back time.” Instead of apologizing and offering to replace the thrown food or discount the meal she made me feel as though I needed to apologize for even mentioning it.
Ultimately, she ended up replacing the thrown food, but when I asked her to include some vegetables and potatoes (which were on my plate), she again questioned whether or not they were on my plate to begin with as though I would lie. Overall, I did not get the impression that she cared that a mistake had occurred or had any interest in correcting it, nor did she end up offering any discount after the whole ordeal. To top it off, I wasn’t even able to reflect my feeling of dissatisfaction with her in my tip because there was an automatic 18% gratuity added to our bill (we were a party of 6). I did express my concerns to the manager on my way out, and he did apologize but it felt too little, too late by then.
In the end, the food was good, but I don’t think any of us would return because of how she treated me and made me feel like I was in the wrong, despite my meal costing $50 and her throwing away half of it initially.
Repeat visitor to 21 Steps and never disappointed. We brought friends that we had raved to about the food and they were more than impressed. Even brought the kids, who were served and catered to very nicely! Would reccomend to anyone, anytime, for any occasion.
This was our second visit to 21 Steps, and there will be a third. I enjoy eating here.
The key lime dessert was amazing!
Had a great deal on the menu which made it good value for money! And our waitress was so nice!
this is my favorite place in Whistler to bring out of town guests to for dinner. It's cozy, delicious and reasonably priced considering the atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic food with great service. We went with the $40 three course dinner and the choices were off the entire menu. Good deal and delicious menu items.
Our server was fantastic, and food was amazing. Will definitely go back. Great time.
We needed to get our pasta warmed up as it was not hot when it arrived
They compensated us with 2 delicious desserts 🍨
The overall experience was ok but not great !
Service from the time we arrived to leaving was awesome. Great staff always a full glass of water and making sure the meal was perfect. Never needed to wait for anything they seem to know when to show up at the table. The food was delicious and portions were good. Would defiantly recommend to anyone on a date or special occasion or just dinner.
We visited 21 Steps over the Halloween weekend and enjoyed their 3-course menu for $40.00.
It was a fantastic deal and a great experience. The food was delicious and they had very large portions. I had the pork schnitzel and it was great, really moist.
Excellent food. Friendly staff. Good value for money.
Look out everyone.... The best steaks are here at 21 steps....
Great service, friendly, helpful staff, and the best food ever
The clam appy in wine was to salty and the salmon and rock fish also to salty. Besides that it was tasty. And well cooked . Just a little to much salt
This place never disappoints. The food is top notch as is the service! We enjoyed a lovely meal with great wine! It’s a must every time we visit Whistler!
This is a must stop in Whistler. Never disappointed. The variety of the small plates is great. Something for everyone. The ribs with anise are delicious.
Awesome food and service
High quality food and a great place to check out when you are in whistler.
Consistently good food and good service. Can’t go wrong
The food is amazing delicious but don't even think going there with no reservation, it is a waste of time , the waitress are so busy that they even not look at you.....with reservation they treat you very nice.
If you are looking for a quiet restaurant is not the place at all. I would say that the food is so so good that worth the sanctify to be in a such loud place.
Came here for an anniversary dinner while in whistler. My husband had the prix fixe menu (excellent selection) and I had the smoked chicken pasta. Our cocktails and food were all excellent. Would absolutely recommend.
Great place and great food. Steep stairs but very cozy. Quick service convenient to many resorts in Whistler with reasonable prices.
Everything about our dining experience was outstanding. The waitress was so friendly, educated on the menu, and made for an even better birthday dinner. I will highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family 😊
Another great dinner celebrating a family Birthday!
Heard great things however was disappointed with food quality . Food seemed to be just standard fare.. Steak wrapped with bacon came out raw which was returned twice. Would however give it a second attempt as i may have just been unlucky due to the sold out room and lineup to get in.
Been a number of times and it’s never failed to disappoint! This was just another time when the food was amazing and the staff are always super helpful if you need Gluten free alternatives.
We had such a great time celebrating our anniversary! Great service and food, we loved their 3 plate special!
Attended 21 steps with my girlfriends. Very rare opportunity for all of us to be together. Reserved 21 steps on open table in advance as I heard it was good.
We dined upstairs in the “Attic”.
Food was excellent. Kudos to the chef.... however we will not return again as we had an extremely undesirable server. She was in a bad mood from the beginning. Wouldn’t smile. Was quite rude and left us with a bad taste. We felt like we weren’t worth her time. I wish I had her name so I could let you know.
Finished our night off at the Dublin bar and had an absolutely happy and lovely server!
Sad when you spend a lot of money at a restaurant and you have an awful experience due to the service.
Portions were good food was adequate service was excellent
Love this place, great food, great location, easy to talk.
Our waiter really undermined our experience with his attitude! Very flip almost rude at times. No call for this!
Me and wife had our 9 year anniversary and i specifically told the server. She didnt even ask or care to ask and expected a tip. Worst customer service ever.
Enjoyed the evening with the whole family. Service was excellent and very attentive. Food delicious. Had steak with added mushrooms, absolutely no complaints!
Decent kid’s menu, kept them happy as well!
Was a nice service - fodd very good! In the town from whistler
We chose 21 steps as a unique dining experience for 2 other couples who had never been to Whistler before; it lived up to the hype we had given it! The food was delicious and presented in a manner to please the eye as well. The menu offers a variety of local items giving the diner the option to choose between many small plates or larger meals. It was mid week and our reservation added to the enjoyment as the place was at capacity. The full house did not prevent the kitchen staff from delivering our food in a nicely timed manner. Service was excellent from beginning to end. The 18% gratuity policy for parties of 6 or more is clearly stated on the menu and our server mentioned it again when she presented our bill; classy! We will definitely be returning to our favourite dining spot in Whistler.
Fun second floor spot to eat and watch the happenings in the village below. Open beamed ceilings make it feel like a huge loft. Food was delicious! Service was prompt but not rushed. Definitely will be a fav spot every time we are back in town.
We walked in on time for our reservation and were shown to a high top table which we refused while 2 lower tables were available right next to it. I asked for the regular table and was told that it was reserved. I said ,I too have a reservation. Thus, was given a time limit that we had to vacated it in 1.45 hrs. We couldn’t relax and enjoy our meal.
I will never go there again.
Good food. Large portions. Pasta dish was massive and very tasty. Very quick and attentive service.
