I went for my 28th birthday party. They were completely accommodatimg to all me and my guess needs. My host was friendly and prompt. My waiter made sure we were happy. Overall I really enjoyed myself and will return.
Had to wait a bit longer than I sound have liked for our order to be taken but once we did receive service everything was great!
The time setback caused us to miss the first 1/2 hour of our show but the food was so fantastic that I didn’t mind as much.
I will return again.
Filet was great, mash potatoes tasted “instant” asparagus wasn’t great for the price everything was just ok.
Your food is going way, way down. I do not know if it is a new chef or something but, I just don't like how the food tastes anymore. Things that were my favorites are almost disgusting at this point: flatbread and the risotto croquettes. The brunch is still good; I hope that doesn't change soon.
My family and I had Sunday brunch and it was delicious. There were many food choices and most everything was cooked to perfection. The wait staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The ambience was very nice. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it.
The service was okay. Waiter checked on us enough not to be a pest but enough to show that he cared. Pretty good food. Love the decor.
I loved it! And I loved my waitress, she was very nice!!
It’s a good thing the food was good... we almost left a couple of times. Staff wasn’t attentive, music was blaring, bathrooms seemed to have not been kept up over the years - and no hand towels to dry your hands. Just overall really disappointed. But as I stated - the food was good... real good.
Went on Sunday from r Father’s Day brunch! It was great, bottomless mimosa’s and every kind of food you could need in a buffet! Would happily go back !
The food was delicious! Definitely worth the money...great experience to celebrate Father’s Day with my honey ❤️
Water was requested three times to get first glass, lamb chops chef prepared should always be medium rare and they came out medium well, drinks came to the table wrong and not tasting correct, salad over dressed, should have known that getting a reservation on a Saturday night in Detroit the day of wasn't a good sign.
They were not equip to handle a large party. They claim 2 have ran out if many items but seemed 2 have found them (steaks, bread, sauce). No where on there website says certain items are lunch only but when you arrive they are only available 11-4. They did decide to make some if the items but the website should have said times.
The food was very good. The service was terrible. I won’t go back. When you’re paying $26 for brunch, I expect good service. It was a beautiful and delicious buffet.
Great dining experience and atmosphere. Good for weekend night out.
The food was tasty- but I would not recommend sitting outside- there's no music, very little atmosphere, and you get bothered by just about every person that walks by :( The indoor decor looked really nice though.
The service was very slow. A couple of items I ordered actually never came. It took over one hour after ordering for our food to arrive.
The service was great and the croquets were amazing! 😍
Beautifully restored Detroit classic hotel; good food; excellent service
It was a nice evening dinner w/my wife, we both enjoyed the atmoshpere
Amazing spread! Great variety of foods to choose from. Friendly customer service. Beauty ambiance!
Service was horrible, you would have thought they had 200 tables they were trying to serve. There were less than 10 tables and they couldn't get anything right. Appetizers after dinner? I always thought those come first.
Very friendly hostess that seated us promptly. Very busy evening because of a couple of parties going on, but they still didn't make us wait. Took a few minutes before we were waited on, but she did an overall good job checking on us in between the party she was serving. If we could leave 6 stars on the food, we would. We both had the filet, had it cooked to medium and it was the best steak we've ever had. It literally melted in your mouth. Seemed a little pricey, but it is a hotel restaurant, so that's to be expected. Overall great dining experience, in a really neat urban setting!
This is a bit of a difficult review. Let's start with what was exactly on point: Our food was delicious and our server was very helpful and friendly. Rated this restaurant as "quiet" only because it was a slow Sunday evening; my bet is it's livelier on other evenings. Now the not-so-easy: Service was slow, and the hostess, when thrown the curve of an extra person added to the group, responded in just the way that makes you feel as a customer you're being a terrible imposition. I detest "add-ons" to a reservation with no notice, but the restaurant was nearly empty this night. Still, the food and friendliness of the wait staff — coupled with its location in a lovely hotel in the city's center — elevates it to the level of "recommended."
My husband and I went to 24 Grille last weekend 4/28 for dinner at around 6 six and the place was not crowded.
He ordered the twin lobster tails and I ordered the ribs both dishes were well beyond what we were expecting. The portions are enormous. I left home with a box full of food for the kids. Everything was delicious. I havent had ribs that good in a long time and the sauce was just the way i like it.
The waiters there were excellent they all seemed to care if all needs were met regardless if they were waiting our table or not.
I will be back here but I probably wont order two plates. An app and one plate is more than enough for 2 people.
I'm sorry to say that our experience was not outstanding, as one would expect by the price point. From our table by the window on the south side we could see two dining chairs with their lining hanging from underneath. The serving cupboard on the opposite wall had a smeary surface, giving it an unclean look.
Our spinach salad had a cloying dressing that was poured on, not tossed with the salad. We order the ribs to share and while the meat was cooked well, falling off the bone, the combination of the sweet barbecue sauce, sweet potato fries, and slaw with a slightly sweet dressing was too much. Someone in the kitchen has a sweet tooth! The service was good though we waited quite a bit for our dirty plates to be removed. On a positive note, the wine was very good.
The salmon filet sandwich was so good today!
Husband an I where just out for lunch
Brian and Matt are amazing! Love the owner as well
Overall very good, food was great. I would would go again the next time I'm in town.
The risotto croquette was amazing. We loved Namir's service. My steak initially came medium well and Namir was Johnny on the spot to get it corrected. The food was excellent and I was able to have great conversation and not strain to hear.
Awesome customer service was unbelievable
Stayed at the Westin Book Cadillac on Easter Weekend and had many venues to choose from for Easter Brunch, but many of the places we were considering had rather limited menus and hardly any descriptions of the offerings in the cases of buffets. Those that did do a good job by posting a lot of details were rather overpriced considering the lack of beverage inclusion. We elected to avoid having to deal with transportation and just stay on the property and were pleasantly surprised at both the reasonable price per person, the impressive variety of offerings, AND the bottomless mimosas included in Easter Brunch at 24Grille. They had a fine lineup of the usual stuff, pastries, lox, fruit, different breakfast meats, potatoes, grits, gravy, biscuits, accompanied by chefs cooking omelets to order. What I was really happy to also find was chilled seafood, fried chicken & waffles, and creole shrimp & rice. Service was very attentive, I don't think my mimosa glass ever got below half-full, and the staff still accommodated the beverage deal using grapefruit juice for my guest's mimosas. The Book Cadillac is my go-to when staying in Detroit and this was the first time I had even dined at 24Grille. Great first impression.
Took a long time to get food
Birthday celebration. Seated immediately upon arrival with reservation. Food was good. Some items seemed over priced, such as a scoop of ice cream cost $6.00.
I ❤️ the polenta croquettes!!
Great service. Enjoyed the lightning and table by window.
The food was pretty good however the Truffle Lobster Mac and Cheese was quite disappointing
This place was quite a nice surprise! Lovely ambiance, gourmet food, and a more casual lively atmosphere. We absolutely LOVED this place and would absolutely return again!
Went for Detroit Restaurant week. Food and portions were good although the menu stated mushroom and asparagus risotto and spinach risotto came out. It was still delicious but not what was expected.
Had a wonderful time and the food was great! We went during restaurant week and went with the the set menu. Our waiter was very good and was very attentive to us even though he had another large party he was managing. I will definitely be back for the food and the overall dining experience with this restaurant.
