I expected a candle with the dessert or for the staff to wish my associate happy birthday but that didn't happen as it does in other restaurants... the service was excellent, the lighting was romantic, a little chilly for my tastes but my associate likes it cool.
The spinach side was tasty but I didn't care for the mac & cheese - a bit too oily as opposed to cheesy.
It was more of an apple cobbler than an apple pie and much too small for the price - but tasty all the same.
Dead. Food came wrong (sauce we ordered without on a $21 burger that was under cooked), no one came back to check so we ended up eating it scraped off by ourself.
Not too far from main hub of activity on Woodward Ave. Fairly small, but comfortable. Menu somewhat limited, but most should be able to find a dish or two that's interesting. A bit on the pricey side. Food was good, and portion size nice. No bread this day though. Glad we went there, but will try something else if in the neighborhood again.
Terrible experience!!! We walked in no greeting and not asked of we had reservation, just a cold how many. Not busy but took 5 minutes for waiter. Ordered a double bloody Mary and a double Margarita...he brought us 4 drinks! We explained what we wanted the waiter got an attitude and said another waiter would assist us. Buffet was terrible NOTHING was warm let alone hot. Omelette way overcooked. Manager came by and we complained he comped 1 brunch and ordered new drinks. Drinks were also terrible. Lastly they have the nerve to include a 20% gratuity which you don't know until you get check. STAY AWAY!!!
My overall experience was not a pleasant one. Your hostess was unfriendly and slow, I do not like sitting by the kitchen, when I inquired about a different table, the host wanted to debate with me on the table setting of a different table, which was the exact same setting as the table by the kitchen. After that, when she escorted other guest to the table by the kitchen, she asked them if it was okay, their response, "NO" they felt the same way I did, but she did not give us that option, I had to force the issue until she sat us at a different table. It is likely that I will not be dining there again. The waiter was slow, the food was good, but bad customer service, I will not stand for or pay for.
I dined here with a friend a year ago and tonight was just as good. The lobster Mac & cheese was delicious. The sea bass was delicious. The dessert😍. This time I bought my family and they loved it. We had no problem being seated right away. The server, Mariah(?) was so nice and patient with us. The only complaint I have is how dark it is in the restaurant. If they brightened up just a tad it would be great. It’s too dark to be romantic or anything, but I guess it’s good ambiance for the bar scene. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
This place is amazing. Fast service, the food is Really, Really, Realllllly good! I recommend it to all, but it is on the pricey side.
Though we are downtown often, we had never tried 24Grille. We went with a couple with eat out with often to try new places. We were VERY happy with the whole experience. Our server was lovely -- patient, knowledgeable, paid just the right amount of attention to us. Service was not rushed nor slow, but clearly matched the pace we wanted. Everyone really enjoyed their dishes and the peach cobbler was amazing. We will definitely go back.
Lovely establishment, a tad bit noisy for my taste.
Food was fine, but its probably best to go more than an hour before closing. The quality greatly decreases after that. The made-to-order omelette was the best part of the meal. The gentleman cooking the omelette was very attentive to all patrons and very charismatic.
Food and service was excellent.Ask for Z as your waiter. He use excellent.
This was a great birthday experience the food was excellent the live jazz was great.
Usually I love dining here. But on Sunday they started mopping at 8:50 and it smelled really bad like they were using a dirty mop. And the fact that I ordered my lamb chops medium well they were still tough and dried out. Maybe there was a new cook or something. So this visit was basic considering my past visits here.
My reservation was at I pm. We were not seated until 1:45. We opted to seat at the bar to wait for our table. Our waiter did not introduce himself. However, the food and drinks were great .. I attend to come back.
My husband and I both ordered the salmon. It was delicious. People from other tables also said it looked really good!
Poor service, very slow, missed orders and messed up check. Food was good, recommend they just improve service a bit
We were happy to get a reservation on a busy, bustling night in Detroit. We were in need of a fairly quick dinner before heading to a concert. We had kids with us and they didn’t have a kids menu, but they were accommodating to help with special food requests. We enjoyed our dinner, but it was freezing inside.
Very very slow service. 25 Minutes to place a drink no order, then 55 minute wait for food. Kitchen was so backed up they stopped accepting orders.
All was well. Just the hotel priciness was the only downer. It is in the Book Cadillac, where everything costs more. Great service, decent food. We were headed to the Tigers game and everything was done quickly.
The food was delicious and our server was great at making recommendations. Drinks were also very tasty! Highly recommend.
Good food! Great service! The craft drinks were not good. I would recommend a simple cocktail if you go.
Excellent food & plenty of options. The atmosphere was great
Food is worth the money, everything was delicious! Everyone had a great time.
Fantastic filet and great service from server, Alex.
It was ok, food was good but dessert wasn’t good at all
The service and food was great. An unexpected bonus was the live music. The richness and quality of the musicians added to the overall experience.
We enjoyed our brunch & Our waiter was amazing!! Thanks 8/5/2018
We wanted to do something different downtown for our anniversary so we came here for dinner.
Our waiter was very nice. He had great suggestions for drinks and food. He did get the price of a bottle of wine wrong though.
The cocktails we had were great and the filet was excellent.
We sat by the window and had fun people watching.
I went for my 28th birthday party. They were completely accommodatimg to all me and my guess needs. My host was friendly and prompt. My waiter made sure we were happy. Overall I really enjoyed myself and will return.
Had to wait a bit longer than I sound have liked for our order to be taken but once we did receive service everything was great!
The time setback caused us to miss the first 1/2 hour of our show but the food was so fantastic that I didn’t mind as much.
I will return again.
Filet was great, mash potatoes tasted “instant” asparagus wasn’t great for the price everything was just ok.
Your food is going way, way down. I do not know if it is a new chef or something but, I just don't like how the food tastes anymore. Things that were my favorites are almost disgusting at this point: flatbread and the risotto croquettes. The brunch is still good; I hope that doesn't change soon.
My family and I had Sunday brunch and it was delicious. There were many food choices and most everything was cooked to perfection. The wait staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The ambience was very nice. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it.
The service was okay. Waiter checked on us enough not to be a pest but enough to show that he cared. Pretty good food. Love the decor.
I loved it! And I loved my waitress, she was very nice!!
It’s a good thing the food was good... we almost left a couple of times. Staff wasn’t attentive, music was blaring, bathrooms seemed to have not been kept up over the years - and no hand towels to dry your hands. Just overall really disappointed. But as I stated - the food was good... real good.
Went on Sunday from r Father’s Day brunch! It was great, bottomless mimosa’s and every kind of food you could need in a buffet! Would happily go back !
The food was delicious! Definitely worth the money...great experience to celebrate Father’s Day with my honey ❤️
Water was requested three times to get first glass, lamb chops chef prepared should always be medium rare and they came out medium well, drinks came to the table wrong and not tasting correct, salad over dressed, should have known that getting a reservation on a Saturday night in Detroit the day of wasn't a good sign.
