What Insiders Are Saying
25 Degrees is a solid, dimly-lit burger and beer kind of spot in River North. We approve.
Went here on a Sunday for brunch. The wait time for food was super short. The meal was absolutely delicious, I cleared my entire plate. And the $12 mimosas was a plus! I’ll definitely be returning soon!
Great brunch. Service was very good. Highly recommend
Amazing food, but took half an hour for them to seat us even though we had a recommendation- still worth it!
One of my favorite Chicago spots where I feel like a local. Feel in love with their velvet wallpaper, hip hop grooves and leather booths years ago when I couldn’t resist the lull of their infamous boozie shakes and OMG are they sinful. Took my girlfriends here for our last night and ordered the Salty Caramel and S’mores shakes for the table. What a blast. Didn’t want to leave without licking the glasses and listening to one more tune. Will always be back! Xoxo
Fun atmosphere. Great food! Terrific boozey shakes! The waitress was very attentive. Helpful with menu choices/explanation. Great music. Fun time was had by all and great food!
I loved this find. Great food, the service was quick and I'd definitely recommend it and visit again.
Excellent burgers and good service.
Wonderful place to try. Food was good service was great good music will be back for sure
Great brunch...$12 bottle of champagne and reasonable meal prices. Service was okay but food was great!
Food was delicious! Had the number 3, it was not too spicy and great flavor. What took away from the experience was as soon as we put a fork down the staff was pretty much climbing on top of us to clear the table. It was towards the end of the day but a few times the guy was reaching over us to get stuff of the table.
I love their adult shakes! The brussel sprouts and cauliflower are delicious too :)
Good food but they ignored the request for a high top table that I put in when I made the reservation.
This is a great restaurant, however, Open Table let me make a reservation on President's Day for a time that they were not open for yet. I had to stand outside for 20 min until they opened. This was disappointing.
The best burgers in Chicago. Love going here whenever I can!
25 degrees is my favorite brunch spot. You can't beat $12 bottles of champagne and the burgers are so delicious!
Great food, great music, great drinks!
The food and service is usually very good. Our burgers were not done to our liking and the server sent the wrong order and double charged us on our bill.
Really loved the atmosphere and $12 bottle of champagne. Food was great. Need to make reservations before going! Thank goodness we did because they were full Saturday morning for brunch.
Excellent all around!
Everything was so yummy!!! The food and drinks make this place a new go to spot for brunch!
Great food. Got the half and half fries and onion rings that could’ve been better. Fries oversalted and onion rings bland. But the burger was amazing (ordered a custom burger), nachos are a must try because they don’t skimp on toppings and ordered the wings and Caesar salad wrap which were great too. Wish they had blue cheese for the wings but they only had ranch. Still would def return in a heartbeat
There weals no heat and cold air was blowing throughout the restaurant. Although, it was not really busy, service was very slow.
Very accommodating for large groups. Fun atmosphere with great food!
I always love 25 Degrees, their brunch environment energetic! The menu is unique (with the breakfast quesadilla being my favorite) and the service is fast! Great option for mimosas and bellini's with fresh fruit juice.
Great place with the best burger I have ever eaten. Love the boilermakers and $12 Champagne. Would eat here again and again
Great food and drink! I love this restaurant. I have gone for dinner and brunch and I will absolutely go back for both.
always a good time - staff are friendly and responsive, hamburgers are delicious, comfortable place with great sunday-funday specials
The place was very loud, fun for a boozy brunch. They had tons of food options but the burgers were definitely the star of the menu.
Love the $12 champagne bottles. & the breakfast burger was on point! 😊
Absolutely horrible experience. Booked a reservation for a large group. Half of the food came out and the other have came out 30 MINUTES LATER. It was awful. Then we asked for a refund on the food that was late since the other people were already done eating by the time it came out and all they took off was a $5 beer. THEN they added an automatic 20% tip which she did NOT deserve. Maybe 10 percent max. This was a terrible experience and we will not be coming back here.
I used to like 25 Degrees but did not have a good experience this time. My husband and I arrived at 5:30pm on a Sunday and were the only table ordering food in the entire restaurant. Typically that means that the service is extremely attentive however they messed up the toppings and cook temperature of my burger. When we asked about it, they told us we didn't order that topping. Rather than fight with us, why not bring out the topping so we could add it ourselves? The burger was supposed to be medium, but came out dry and overcooked at a solid "well done". I will not be returning to 25 Degrees. There are too many good burger places in Chicago.
Went to meet my daughter and have a great burger and a good draft. Was a perfect place for that goal.
Probably one of the best burgers I've had in Chicago! The fries could have been better, but I'd stack the burger against Au Cheval.
Definitely not a place for Afternoon Tea although a great place for a beer anytime. The atmosphere is "authentic" for sure...an authentic Chicago bar experience with great burgers. Definitely not a California fern bar. The burgers are simply the best, the fries great, the homemade milkshakes actually homemade. The crowd are nice people and the service very friendly even though sometimes harried at times. You will not be disappointed.
VERY loud but great food.
Great food but some issues with service (errors in orders, issue splitting the bill). Music was too loud for conversation across the table.
Despite our long wait with a reservation the burgers were great. The manage, or who we believed to be the manager, was accommodating and apologized for our wait and thanked us for our patience with a complimentary bottle of champagne for our mimosas. The burgers were the perfect size and cooked exactly as requested. The half sweet potatoes and half traditional fries were also delicious. Although the setting is low lighting it gives a great mysterious diner vibe. Large half circle booths provide privacy and the large center bar also provides pleanty of seating.
Great service, great champagne special for brunch and great food!!
Menu is largely comprised of giant burgers, so you better be ready for them
This place was really awesome I have been here a couple times now and I always leave stuffed and happy.
