Another exceptional experience! As always, the ambiance and service were impeccable, making our lunch truly enjoyable. However, it's worth mentioning that the main course didn't quite hit the mark during my last two visits. While it was good, it didn't meet the high standards I've come to expect from this establishment. Nonetheless, I'm confident it's a minor hiccup and look forward to many more excellent meals here.

34 Mayfair was recommended by our hotel for Sunday night dinner. We had no real expectations... but WOW!!! This was one of our favorite meal we had in London. Chic atmosphere, delicious food and impeccable service. Will be back :)

Everything from start to finish was outstanding— terrific service by Patrik and incredible food. My husband had the Sunday roast— and loved every bite. I’m a vegetarian so I went with the lettuce and avocado salad—so yummy— and the rigatoni— delicious— glad I ordered the small portion because I could hardly finish— adding the marscapone makes a big difference and enhanced the richness of the sauce. We’re in London celebrating our anniversary and at the conclusion of our meal we were surprised with a lovely sweet treat— we’re very appreciative of the thoughtfulness— and of course it was amazing! Would love to return— perhaps we will before we leave— and if not will definitely put on the list when we come back to London. Many thanks for a lovely experience!!

We went to celebrate my 40th birthday and also my son's 5th birthday. The food was brilliant. Very nice kids menu. Excellent service. And they very kindly surprised us with a happy birthday message and candle with dessert. Would definitely go back and the Sunday roast is to die for. I think the best beef I have ever had in London!

Food is very nice here, fair price for Mayfair. However the staff never seem to get off your back, it can be quite overbearing. They interrupt constantly to take your order and then interrupt whilst you’re still eating to ask if you’ve finished. It’s too much and spoils the dining experience.

The 34 has had a menu change since the departure of the American embassy. Gone is the large selection of USDA steaks, with USDA options now limited to cheaper cuts of sirloin and strip. Sides have also changed. Sad to see as this used to be the best place for steak in the UK. Atmosphere was vibrant, but not quite the level of service as in the past., where it set the standard for professionalism. Tables were packed tight and no live jazz. Tried to enjoy outside dining but surprisingly the restaurant was allowing smokers in the area which really isn’t open air, but rather confined with awnings and plexiglass, so felt as is being in a smoky pub of generations ago.

My family, friends, and I have been loyal patrons of 34 Mayfair for over 8 years. Our recent dining experience was quite disappointing, particularly with the main course, which included the Chateaubriand Porterhouse (1kg), spinach, and Bearnaise sauce, along with other dishes. Regrettably, the food lacked flavor and seemed rather unusual in taste. Our attentive waiter did his utmost to address the issue, but the response from his supervisor, who shared the issue with "5Chefs" implied that the subpar quality of food was their standard. This assertion doesn't align with our past experiences, as we have enjoyed excellent cuts of meat on numerous occasions. Despite this setback, 34 Mayfair still remains one of our preferred steakhouse choices due to its convenient location, food quality, and high level of service. We are open to giving them another opportunity to impress us in the future.

The lady host was very rude, we always come in the afternoon to have some coffee and the amazing donuts and she always says no which is weird because it is before dinner time and there are a lot of empty tables.I suggest to have a nicer male host.

The bartender was lovely, and the gentleman who brought the bread and assisted our server was a doll; very kind and friendly. Our server was pretty short and not very pleasant. The woman who dropped the food was downright rude. She was clearly unhappy to be there and moved things around on the table haphazardly with no regard (it was already a small table), she did not smile once, and walked away while I was asking her a question. Although the food was good, we should have kept our original reservation at Scott’s.

Last night was my 4th visit to 34 Mayfair. The experience I had on my first visit was so impeccable that I booked my next visit with front of house before I left. The subsequent visits were just as good. Last night however I left 34 feeling unimpressed. This was due to having dirty cutlery, having to get up to ask for drinks more than once and lack of service for our table even though it wasn’t super busy. If last night was my first visit to 34 I would not be returning.
