From start to finish everything was perfect. My sister had the filet mignon on mashed potatoes. She said it was the best steak she ever had. In addition, Rashid who served us was absolutely outstanding In recommendations, kindness, and knowing what to do and when to do it. A true professional and just a great guy who makes you feel very welcome at 40 Westt. I love this place. My sister and I have agreed to make a 40 Westt lunch a must-do every time I come to town. Thank you, Rashid and the entire team. 👍👍🙏

We ate early so the noise level was very tolerable but with band coming into the bar and more guests, there was significant increase in the nose level. Conversation was becoming quite difficult, unfortunately a chronic situation in many restaurants in Montreal. The food was fabulous as was our waitress. Will return with guests, but at 17:30!!

We were seated next to the room where they would bring the dishes, so very noisy. Not enough space for the waiters, my husband had to keep on moving his chair closer to the table. Service is slow. We waited for almost half an hour to get our appetizers. Good wine, good steak, fish was too salty.

Great place I know it’s not what you would expect but they have the best onion soup I’ve ever had and tasted.Listen the beef is amazing but when you go out your way for the appetizer like the wedge salad with chunks of blue cheese and a onion soup that you clean the bowl with bread you know there doing things the right way.Please don’t change your ways !!!Thank you!
