    Terrific spot. The feel of Manhattan in Marblehead. Excellent service, prompt, professional. Eclectic menu. Delicious food. Flavorful. Vibrant, romantic. Top notch all the way around. Fun bar scene for a drink after. Highly recommended.

    The food and atmosphere on our visit last night, were very good. However our waiter was morose, and unfriendly, and should not be in a service industry. I don't know what his problem was, but he didn't appear to know very much about 5CK or it's services. When I asked for a vodka martini, he had to sort through a bunch of papers to tell me what vodka's were available. I usually tip 20 percent, but last night I thought about leaving no tip at all, because I was disappointed with the service. I visit 5CK with friends, on a regular basis, usually for Sunday Brunch, and usually eat at the bar, and would have chose to eat there last night , if there had been room, but because there was no room had to chose to eat at a table. The next time I visit, if I have to sit at a table, with the same waiter, I will get up and leave.

    We had the most amazing brunch last Sunday. I tried the creamy scrambled eggs with almond pesto and a garlicky sriracha sauce. The flavors were over the top being a balance between just the right amount of heat and richness. This was served on top of grilled ciabatta bread with a side salad. Highly recommend this dish.

    First time we've been at 5 Corners. Saw it on Chronicle. Absolutely fantastic! service was excellent and the food was incredible. Even though the place was packed on Saturday night, the acoustics were such that we could have a "normal" conversation and not have to scream or hear the conversations from other tables. They have a great deal on oysters 5:00 - 6:00. The black ink pasta and line caught cod were unbelievable. Stephanie waited on us and she couldn't have been more pleasant or attentive.

    I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, Great wine selection.

    We reserved through OpenTable earlier in the day and surprisingly got in same day. Our server Adam was so very attentive making sure everything was just so perfect. We had the Brussels spout app and Tuna Tartare which were fresh, tasty and just enough for 2-3 people. Martinis were well proportion alcohol to flavor. Well go back again.

    The restaurant and the entire evening were very nice overall. We went for dinner for my husband's birthday. Appetizer menu better than entree menu. I think I would have preferred going for appetizers and a glass of wine in the bar. Our server was great.

    This is the best food and ambiance in Marblehead. Beet salad and brussel sprouts are exceptional. Servers are friendly and the decor is classy.

    Everything was great from the service to the food. The oysters on the half shell were great. The skate wings were good but a little too much oil. The beef was also good but, again, a little too much sauce. The dessert vanilla gelato with espresso was wonderful. I will definitely go again.

    5 Corners is an excellent restaurant and we are lucky to have it in our neighborhood. My family and I eat there at least twice a month if not more frequently and everything has been excellent. The atmosphere is sophisticated and welcoming at the same time. The service is top notch.

    What a great restaurant this is! My husband and I wanted a quiet evening the day after Christmas, and 5 Corners Kitchen had amazing reviews. I am now adding my own review on an amazing experience we had here. It is definitely one of the nicest restaurants in the burbs. It's quaint with a touch of elegance. We started out by sharing mussels and escargots for appetizers. Then he had squid ink seafood pasta and I had sauteed skate wing. My entree was humongous, so I had a very nice lunch the next day with my left over. We also had an excellent bottle of Bordeaux that did not break my husband's wallet. Service was given by Lara, and she was professional, attentive, and exceeded our expectations. Would we drive 45 minutes to dine here again? Most definitely!!

    Went to 5 Corners for dinner and, per usual, it did not disappoint. Entrees were excellent from pastas to fish to an excellent burger with fries. It's hard choice whether to partake in their homemade charcutrie or save room for dessert. True first world problems.

    Even with few dining options on the North Shore, 5 Corners is a stand-out. The food is always spectacular, the vibe and ambience is hip, yet warm and inviting, and the wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We have been for dinner as well as Sunday brunch, and it just can't be beat. It's not the best place for young kids for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night, but we have brought our young boys there for Sunday brunch and the restaurant has been very accommodating. This is one of the few spots on the North Shore that is worth the drive from Boston and beyond!

    We always enjoy the food here, but the service can be erratic, especially when they are busy. This time, we had to make requests for things like extra bread, drinks, an extra plate, more than once. Several times we saw waitstaff looking for something to do and making work by filling up the top half inch of water in the glass while we were waiting for plates to be removed or a drink order delivered.

    The food is the best on the North Shore, fresh, creative and the variety make it tough to decide on just one entree. The gelato and grappa make you feel as though you are dining in Tuscany. They have a wonderful selection of wines and top notch authentic Italian kitchen!! My husband is from Florence and he agrees; it's just like home.

    I have been here many times and always love this restaurant. Our latest visit was perhaps the best ever. The food was excellent, including the skate wing, pate, steak frites, Brussel sprouts, beet salad, and special pork entrée. As always, the ambiance was perfect and the wait staff attentive.

    Went to 5 Corners Sat PM (Halloween) with high expectations after reading various reviews and seeing a Phantom Gourmet segment. Overall, we had a good time despite the poor service from our waiter, who forgot to put our entree order in and didn't inform us until we asked what was up. He did attempt to make up for it by bringing us a tasty appetizer to hold us over, but we still waited a rather long time for our entrees and not being informed of the hold up was annoying. The entrees were all outstanding when they did arrive, but our initial mussels app (not the freebee from our waiter) had a number of sandy mussels in it. Place has a great vibe, on the fence about trying a second time due to service.

    A delightful neighborhood restaurant in the midst of a historic colonial town. Food was excellent as was the service and decor and the liveness (not noise) of the diners created an enjoyable environment. We traveled from Billerica to eat dinner here, on the recommendation of a friend, and we did not mind the time it took.

    5 Corners Kitchen has great food and good size portions. I have an allergy and was pleased that the Owner/Chef Barry came out to speak with me in detail about my allergy. The food is very inventive with interesting combinations of spice and vegetables. Though the food was very good, I find the service lacking and not what you would expect. Water glasses left empty with the Server never refilling. In addition, once our entrée dishes were taken away, they brought out dessert menu's not even bothering to wipe the table down - this is a major turn-off to me when crumbs are all over the table.

    This restaurant is considered one of Marbleheads's best but overall it's not that great. It's way too noisy. The food is good but not anything to make you say, "yum!". I've always found the staff to be a bit arrogant. It's a little pricey. Not up to par with some of the good, Boston restaurants but the cost is about the same. There is no ambiance at all.

    Five friends enjoyed the best dinner from appetizers to desserts. Attentive wait staff who fully knew their menu. One of our group had a wheelchair and they management and staff were great in accommodating our need. Will definitely dine there again!

    We come to 5 Corners Kitchen for about 3 years (dinner or brunch). We love this restaurant. The food is really good. Our favorite is “tuna tartare” . Last time when we dinned at 5 CK we ordered pasta carbonara ( oh boy my husband missed it ). The dish was amazing !!! The last was desert : caramel soufflé with ice cream and chocolate soufflé with ice cream . The service is really good. You won’t regret it if you will visit this gem in North Shore.

    A fantastic dinner from start to finish. A glass of champagne was promptly served when we arrived because we were celebrating our anniversary. Nice touch! Shane was knowledgeable and friendly and took great care of us. The salad on special that night was fabulous! Broccoli and mozzarella. Great specialty drinks and wine. Loved our entrees, squid ink pasta and salmon. Finished with sticky toffee pudding with a candle. The ambiance was nice and intimate. This is especially important to us where we have 2 small active boys. We loved every minute. We will certainly be back.
