Fantastic food with creativity from the kitchen, fresh ingredients and sourcing of quality food presented in a thoughtful manner. I think this is one of the best restaurants in the country that I can think of. A must if you are traveling through Grand Junction - and very well worth a long drive on Interstate Highway 70

Such a great night! Hadn’t eaten at 626 in awhile and it didn’t disappoint! Excellent server-he was attentive but we didn’t feel rushed at all. Pasta primavera with shrimp was outstanding. Already talking about when we can go back again. Took friends from Denver and they loved it.

The food and service are amazing. The prices are high. I wouldn't mind that if the seating was not so close to other tables. The night we were there, they had a large party that had to sit at two large tables. They walked around and were very loud. My husband and I were celebrating our 33rd anniversary, and if we wanted to go to a loud bar, we could have paid a lot lower price. I probably wouldn't recommend this restaurant to a couple that wants a nice evening alone.

We should up 25 min early for our reservation in hopes of enjoying a glass of wine prior to being seating. There were several tables open inside and outside and were denied staying and was told we could have a glass of wine elsewhere. Who does that! They sent business away! We contemplated dining somewhere else but didn't. Completely ruined our view and perseption of this being an outstanding restaurant. So disappointed in the customer service.

We do our best to accommodate early shows, but cannot always accommodate, especially when our restaurant is as busy as the night you visited. Although tables may look empty, they are reversed for other reservations. We recommend calling ahead of time if you would like to try and get in earlier. We offered the bar but unfortunately, it was full upon time of arrival; we were however able to seat you at your reservation time. Yeah. I pretty much maxed out the stars on this one. I took my wife here for our anniversary with the intention of having a wonderful dinner, and an unforgettable experience. We weren't disappointed. The food was out of this world. The service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They really made us feel like guests. We weren't in any hurry to leave, so we stayed for about 2 hours, just enough time. I would recommend this establishment to anyone, for any occasion.

Excellent food, beautiful presentation, great service! The staff acknowledged a birthday at our table with a personal menu keepsake and a sparkler in his dessert making it a very special experience! Fine dining at its finest! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Food, service and about everything was great - noise was close to extreme, mostly caused by a couple at the bar. It absolutely defies understanding why anyone would go to a really fine dining establishment, apparently not touch the food, and order drink after drink - unbelievable!!

Our meal was a first time experience for all 5 of us. Some foodies, some not. All of us loved the food. Our wines were well selected and we all enjoyed our individual choices. Service was excellent, with very helpful explanations and comments. All around exceptional! Thank you for a great evening.

We had another fantastic meal on our recent visit to Grand Junction. The meal started with a chilled cherry soup and a glass of gewürztraminer followed by a perfectly cooked tenderloin with a glass of Shiraz. The wine was suggested by the waiter with an offer of a taste. The wine selection matches anything I would find at home in California wine country. I never miss hitting this place with always great food, atmosphere and service.

626 on Rood is a must place to have Dinner in Grand Junction. Great menu, excellent service and the best wine list on the western slope or maybe in Colorado. A 5 Star menu. We had the special of scallops and forbidden rice. OMG

One of the best restaurants in Grand Junction. The menu includes outstanding takes on local products. The wine list is extensive. The staff is outstanding. Their knowledge of the menu is amazing. Highly recommend 626 On Rood.

My sister and I took our mom here for mother's Day and had an amazing time. Angelina was an incredible, attentive, and knowledgeable server. We had a few apps and a few entrees that were delicious. The food was amazing. We will definitely be back when we are back in town!
