Went to celebrate my vegan daughter's birthday. We had been there once before and were impressed, but this visit was dazzling. She recently moved here from Oregon where vegan options were everywhere and she has been sad about the limited offerings here. Last night however, she had happy food bliss face with each course served and the special birthday treatment she got from the spectacular staff. Shout out to Jake who went above and beyond.

Open tables yet seated next to a unquiet table. Waiter tanking their orders actually in such close quarters brushed his backside on the glasses on our table each time he serviced them. It's good... but not the excellent you would expect.

It must be hard to live up to the hype this restaurant gets. Maybe it was an off night. The fish we ordered was overdone and the flatiron salad was too rare. Had to wait forever for a cocktail and glass of wine.

626 Rood is our favorite place to go for special occasions. The wait staff is charming and friendly. The food is beautifully presented and delicious. They have added vegan main dishes, which as a vegetarian, it is thrilling to have choices!

The service was fantastic. I had help with wine selection. the soup was fabulous. My burger was not cooked to order. Fries were brought with it instead of the salad I ordered. The accoustics were lousy. It's a small place with mostly bare walls and ceiling. It was loud (for me). It was on the expensive side. Great attention was paid to most clients as far as I could see. Again the service was fantastic. I won't be returning. Most of my friends are too old to enjoy the atmosphere

Fantastic food with creativity from the kitchen, fresh ingredients and sourcing of quality food presented in a thoughtful manner. I think this is one of the best restaurants in the country that I can think of. A must if you are traveling through Grand Junction - and very well worth a long drive on Interstate Highway 70

Such a great night! Hadn’t eaten at 626 in awhile and it didn’t disappoint! Excellent server-he was attentive but we didn’t feel rushed at all. Pasta primavera with shrimp was outstanding. Already talking about when we can go back again. Took friends from Denver and they loved it.

626 on Rood always delivers a top-shelf experience. With peach season in full swing, we chose three 'of the moment' offerings - a bourbon-based cocktail, cold soup and shrimp main course. All were delicious and creatively presented. Bravo!

The food and service are amazing. The prices are high. I wouldn't mind that if the seating was not so close to other tables. The night we were there, they had a large party that had to sit at two large tables. They walked around and were very loud. My husband and I were celebrating our 33rd anniversary, and if we wanted to go to a loud bar, we could have paid a lot lower price. I probably wouldn't recommend this restaurant to a couple that wants a nice evening alone.

This is a Grand Junction must restaurant with innovative menu that is seasonal with a great wine selection. Specials are always delicious. Servers and service is 5 Star. Patio is great when available.
