I asked for a quiet corner to be able to hear conversations and there was a group of women in the opposite corner who were having a great time but made our time together problematic to talk. Oh well …

74 Main was fabulous in all respects. The food was the best I've ever had in this town since I moved here 30 years ago. The service was extraordinary--and gracious!--despite he fact that our dinner companions arrived 30 minutes late. The quiet table we requested was a booth at one end of the row, so we barely even knew there were other people around us. Perfect, perfect, perfect.

Beautifully served and prepared meal! Sarah our server did a wonderful job. We eat here often and we appreciate the varied menu and abundance of daily special items. Great value great place.

My Wife and I had the short rib special and let me tell you, it was so delicious and best part, it was HOT when it was served to us. I’ve paid that kind of a price before somewhere else and wasn’t happy at all. This was money well spent in my eyes.

Had a wonderful lunch with good friends. They didn’t rush us so we were able to have an enjoyable time with great food. Noise level was perfect for conversation. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in New London.

The owner Richard is very professional and the bartenders Jaime and Kyle are excellent The food is well worth the 45 minute drive
