In Boston for the holiday weekend. Was looking for neighborhood restaurants with character. Thought 75 Chestnut was it. Ate at this restaurant last night with my family. The experience was very disappointing. When we arrived the restaurant was not crowded. We were seated at a very small table crammed in a back corner. Apps were truffle polenta fries and shrimp cocktail. Shrimp were over cooked and polenta was very greasy. Salmon was average. Tenderloin au poivre was well cooked and tasty. Avoid chicken panini. It was not a panini, barely a warm sandwich. Ordered a beer and it was never brought to the table. Lobster spaghetti was underwhelming. Lobster consisted of some claw meat and small stringy meat from the feelers. Dish was flavorless and had pool of water at the bottom of the bowl. Overall the entire experience was very underwhelming and disappointing.

Music was a little different than the atmosphere. We thought the atmosphere would be quieter or softer. Piano or simple jazz tunes may have been the ultimate experience. We loved our host and servers who made our anniversary night special. Thank you to the Chef, and the night!!

Such a quaint little place nestled into a residential neighborhood in Beacon Hill. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. The breakfast tacos and polenta bowl were fantastic.

Really cute place! The host, server, and staff were all wonderful. The food was alright- the salad was great, the burger was pretty standard. However the ambience, staff, and overall experience was more than worth it. The dessert was SO good. Would come again!

Perfect lunch/brunch spot. Have not been for dinner. Spring menu is so colorful! Party of 5 all enjoyed a delicious lunch, 3 of us had the quinoa bowl. We did not order alcohol. Most glasses of wine were $17!! Waitress help pull off a birthday surprise with a decadent dessert of molten choc cake, ice cream, whipped cream, and sauces! The room is pretty too.

Came for a week night anniversary/birthday dinner and had a wonderful meal as always. One of the few places that knows how to make a Sidecar cocktail well and excellent food as always. The staff very clearly cares and made us feel very taken care of. One of our favorite spots!

The food was amazing. Service was slow and wait staff was not very attentive and rushed, but it seemed like there were only 2 waiters working for a full Saturday night. The restaurant staff was also "on top" of you right as you seemed to finish or not eat anymore, waiting to take your plate away. The food was very delicious though, and we are going to give it another try!

We arrived a bit earlier than our scheduled brunch reservation and were promptly greeted and seated. As it was a beautiful day outside, we chose to sit outdoors. Our server immediately provided us with water and a menu and shortly afterwards took our order. Our cocktails arrived within 5 minutes. If you're a fan of a good Bloody Mary, you're in for a 10 on a scale of 1-10. The Fig Manhattan also turned out to be an excellent choice. Both of our meals arrived within 5 minutes our drinks. Both the Lobster Toast and the Stuffed French Toast were excellently prepared and thoroughly enjoyable. Only exception was the bacon, which was cooked crispier than preferred. Portion sizes were excellent, so you will not leave hungry or disappointed. Service was professional, friendly and non-intrusive. Looking forward to revisiting.

Lovely restaurant on a beautiful residential street. Sat outside and enjoyed the Bibb Salad and Charcuterie board - both were excellent. Nice wine by the glass selection. Service was fantastic. Very friendly server. Highly recommend.

Sunday morning brunch was wonderful. We had a reservation for 3 people but probably could have walked in. When we arrived at 11 AM, it wasn't crowded yet. The food was great, the service was quick, and the price was reasonable considering that 75 Chestnut has a high-class atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it!

Friday night and we grabbed a table for 6 at the last minute. Service was a little slow, took a while to order drinks and even longer to get them. Once we ordered, the service was much better. 3/6 meals were good, 1 was ok, and two were really great. Loved the atmosphere; feels clubby with good lighting. Would definitely go back.

We always have a wonderful evening at 75 Chestnut. It has a wonderful selection of wine and cocktails, and their food is uncomplicated, fresh and delicious. We like sitting in the bar area but there isn't a bad seat in the house. Thank you for another great meal!

Great restaurant in a great neighborhood. Food is tasty, menu, varied and service, excellent. It is also an attractive place, both in and outside. Our only criticism is that it is too noisy. Very difficult to talk quietly and hear each other.
