Visited this spot with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and it was an amazing experience. The food was excellent, the atmosphere is comfortable and fun, while service is incredible. Definitely worth a visit for the unbelievable meals and knowledgable staff.

Went with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. We got a very nice circle booth and prompt service from Fernando. Complimentary bruschetta was delicious, just like the remainder of the food. We were very satisfied with every component of our dining experience at Adega! Definitely recommend for a date night downtown. Especially for those looking to dine in the Yonge-Dundas area (which is typically full of chain restaurants).

Dinner for two at Adega prior to seeing the TSO. Everything was first rate, the service, the food, the ambience. They even called a cab for us as we were running late. Recommended!

One of my fav Portuguese restos in Toronto. Great wine selection and good service.

Never had a bad meal the 3yrs have been coming here. No opinion on the fish dishes, dont like whole fish. Risotto, pasta,
Seafood and meat dishes are tasty and the value is in line for what you're being served. Waiters are attentive, cleaning the table, replacing table setting as needed, replenishing water, and complimentary appetizers.

Ambiance and service was lovely. The food was poor - watery soup and mediocre food at best.

First time at Adega but would definitely return. Food was outstanding and nice ambience.

I always enjoy eating at Adega. The waiters are friendly, attentive and professional. The food is perfectly cooked and impeccable seasoned. Cooking delicate seafood like octopus and squid and having it arrive at the table hot and tender is a careful balance that Adega does well. My partner and I enjoy eating there and will be back.

The Creme Caramel was exceptional, would go back just for that.
The sauce on the Veal Scaloppini was very good as well, but I prefer my meat more rare.

The food is delicious. Service is very professional. Quality, quantity and service is the same as their everyday menu. They will not serve cheap food or menu during Winterlicious or Summerlicious.

Happy with our winterlicious dinner here. It was quiet around 5:30pm when we started but picked up by the time we left at 720pm. Service was excellent. Food was a good size portion and everything tasted great.

Enjoyed my meal here....excellent service from Marco. Disappointed that their usual menu was not offered as they were participating in the city-wide Winterlicious dining promotion which offers a prix-fixe menu. The dishes all had a Portuguese orientation and were good but I was anticipating the Cataplana fish stew which was not offered during this period; I will have to return for it on my next visit to Toronto. Wine list has an excellent offering of good Portuguese wines at all price points.

First time and it was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Cosy atmosphere but you don't feel like you are on top of each other.

We went for Winterlicious. The menu had more choices than many restaurants. The food was very good. I enjoyed the squid which was cooked perfectly. Excellent service. Would definitely go again to try their regular menu.

The food and service were excellent!!! Our waiter gave us some great recommendations and he was very attentive. We could easily talk and did not feel rushed. A perfect place for a quiet date night...

Our server Fernando was most helpful and made an excellent red wine recommendation, that went with all our food choices. Lamb was lovely as was the scallop fettuccine dish, and fish of the day.
Port at the end of dinner was a lovely touch.

Have been to Adega twice and I'm a fan! Excellent food and service. They haven't seen the last of me.

We had another wonderful meal at Adega! For lunch, we shared a delicious Caesar Salad first and then I ordered the Arctic Char and my husband the Mediterranean Cod. They were both specials of the day and were fabulous! Service was attentive and was excellent! Thank you Adega for continuing to offer an amazing dining experience!

As always Adega never disappoints. Great food, service and ambiance every time

First, we waited 20 min until our server arrived our table . We came to this restaurant because it advertised Toronto’s best octopus. My daughter loves fresh seafood and has had octopus on her travels around the world . The scallop and bacon linguini had next to no bacon . She chose the octopus appetizer ., it was pleasant near the ends, it quickly became tough and cheery after the first 4”. It was disappointing. My main course squid was again somewhat ordinary. Not soft, certainly cheery, and just shy of indigestible . I was not interested in finishing it and atypically for me, I left some on my plate . There was overall too much oil and too much salt used on the vegetables. And, my daughter was sick through the night . She has had octopus and scallops before , so there is no reason to blame an allergy. All in all, it was disappointing . The champagne was wonderful .

Service was phenomenal. I was pleased by every food item, from appetizer to dessert. Definitely worth it.

Everything was lovely.....again. I keep coming back because the food and service are so good.

First time was last year for a ladies Christmas dinner get together. We chose the pre set menu for it's value and some of the choices were what we would have ordered anyway. We expected the portions to be smaller but got full size orders. The complimentary fresh bread, dipping oil and black olives along with a chef's surprise was a great start to our meal. The service all around was superb.
We had plans with another different girls group this year and one of the girls knew of our experience last year and suggested this restaurant. They loved the evening and I'm sure we will be back again.

Good fresh fish. Good Portuguese food. Good selection of wines from Portugal . Attentive but not overbearing service.

We were visiting Toronto for the weekend and decided to try something different.
The server was excellent and very personable. The food was also very good and well presented
although a little on the pricey side.
I think this might be a place to visit for a special occasion as you can certainly spend a lot of money, if you have some wine with dinner.
The only complaint I have is that a large group was seated next to us so it was impossible to have a conversation.
I suggest seating groups elsewhere, perhaps in the back of the establishment.
