We had dinner at AG for our anniversary, when we stayed at The Sterling. We were pleasantly surprised to see they had a price fixe menu with lots of options.
• Service was fantastic (very attentive)
• Food was delicious (even the butter!)
• location was intimate and modern
Lovely farm to table restaurant. We were lucky to catch the end of Niagara Peach season and have several lovely peach dishes. Highly recommended!
Amazing food. Wonderful local ingredients. Beautiful restaurant with wonderful staff.
The wait between courses was somewhat long as it took approximately over 2 hours for to complete a 3 course meal. However, the meal we had was very good and the peach pound cake desert was fantastic and highly recommend it.
Perhaps my favorite place in the falls to eat. Cory the chef is almost as good as me :-) Never disappointed. Creative flavor pairing with creative plating. Worth it every time.
Was disappointed that AG has adopted a “prix fix” menu with appetizers mains desserts etc. The quality of the food was good but I much prefer the old a-la-carte menu structure. They seem to be far more focused on packages to hotel guests, which is fine, but never having stayed there I found the menu constructed more to suit a package holiday than fine dining. Overall the meal was good, but it was not at the outstanding level I had come to expect.
We went for cocktail hour, the bartender was amazing, she was very friendly, when we went to to be seated for dinner ( for our 5 year wedding anniversary) we were sat next to a closet, our server wasn’t very friendly or attentive. You would think an upscale restaurant like this would try to make your night better for our special occasion. The fact we got charged for our side of vegetables after paying $59 each person for a so called 3 course meal, even with a gift certificate of $150 our bill was still $108 we didn’t even order dessert. The apps were not very good, some cabbage slaw and green cauliflower not very well seasoned. The main dishes the beef was cooked perfectly and my husband had scallops which he got charged $9 extra when it should have been included in the 3 course meal option, clearly the server didn’t explain the menu very well as well the menu was very limited. All in all not the best dining experience
We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and this restaurant was
recommended by a waiter. He was spot on! One of the best meals that my husband and I have had in many years.
We stayed at the Sterling Inn & Spa in Niagara Falls 9/11-9/13. We were so glad that we chose to have dinner at the AG restaurant the day we arrived. It was one of the best meals that we have had in a long time. The food was exceptional. The service was outstanding. The price was a little expensive. But, you did not leave the restaurant hungry. We enjoyed the 3 course meal. My husband & I chose different entrees for each course. All six choices were very good. A special thanks to Nick, our server. He was very personable & treated us like very special guests.
The flavors were all over the place. The dinner was sweet, everything had peaches and was sweet.
Fantastic high class restaurant. Atmosphere was great, food was fantastic. Would recommend and will definitely dine again! Thank you!
Overall experience was great...I’m from Long Island and packed extra clothes knowing it was a fancy place...was disappointed seeing a man next to me in sweat shorts and sneakers
enjoyed the opinions of the very knowledgeable wait staff. limited wine list.
Very refined cuisine, delicate choices, with sofisticated palettes. This is a not “grab a bite” place. This is for who enjoys a culinary experience with pleasant long lasting feelings. It make every evening remarkable and unforgettable.
Excellent food. The Niagara Wine Choices recommended to us were superb.
Unique menu. The staff were very accommodating.
High end restaurant with great service. Naturally, you will be paying for the aforementioned.
Wonderful food, service and ambiance! This is what I expect when I go out for a nice meal. I would most definitely come back!
My second time here; both were outstanding. Everything is well-prepared, with many local ingredients, and service is superb. This is by far the best restaurant in the Western NY/Niagara area. And price is reasonable for the quality. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly.
Great restaurant, just wish there were more options than the 3 course meal. One 3 course meal is
enough for 2 people age 60+. Highly recommend this place! Free parking!
Absolutely amazing! The food was fantastic, farm to table and so very good!
Kelly was the best server we have ever had. She was fantastic, made wonderful recommendations and the food was fabulous. Will definitely be going back here next time we are in town!
Service and food were amazing! This is a must stop for foodies. Cody our waiter did a phenomenal job.
Excellent food and service . A real Gem in Niagara Falls. We have dined hear over 20 times and it is still surprises us.
We were very impressed with this restaurant. It was rather refreshing to find farm to table restaurant that not only had excellent service but the ambiance and food was top notch.
They start out with a drink cart at each table featuring a fe wof hteir signature cocktails.
They offer a 3 course dinner now with a good variety in each course to wet your appetite. What I loved most was the service and the fact that it was not rushed. They waited ample time in between each course before presenting you with the next course. We would definitely go back again.
The food was amazing and the service was great. The duck and tenderloin was really good but the peach pound cake made the dinner even better!
Great food and beautiful ambiance. Will definitely be back. Nice night out!
We had a great time celebrating our father’s 70th birthday. The waiter was knowledgeable and helpful without being too intrusive. The food was delicious, and presentation was impressive. Definitely worth a visit.
Wow. Food and service were outstanding. We only wished we could eat here every night. Everything we ordered was done exceptionally well. Wine pairings were perfect too. Highly recommend for a special dining experience while in Niagara. Would return to Niagara just to be able to eat here!
A hidden gem in the basement of an Inn & Spa. An excellent restaurant with a farm-to-table menu. We ate with our three children and they loved the food. A great local restaurant in Niagara.
Food excellent. Service too slow (7 pm reservation and we left at 9:15 taking dessert with us). Nice ambiance. Pretty empty the night we were there. We had noted a special occasion on the reservation and were surprised not to be asked about it by the servers.
The quality of the 3 courses menu for 59$ is outstanding. We were delighted. Clearly a neighbourhood gem near the highly crowded Clifton Hill.
Agree it's hard to find, but so worth it. The chef is so talented, interesting flavors, great combinations of seasonings. Our waitress was spot on, just attentive enough without being in the way. My husband had the quail, nicely crisp but not dry. Veggies were so fresh and full of flavor. I had the duck, 5 slices of breast cooked just as I had ordered, and a leg and thigh confit. Best duck I've every had. We shared the gelato for dessert and it was light but exploded with flavor. Good thing this restaurant isn't in our town, I'd be broke and way overweight! We seldom have a real dining experience any more, but AG's delivers. JUST GO!
This was the worst food I have had in a long time. We literally left without even having the desert although we paid for it. And boy did we pay... $300 for 3-person dinner with only one glass of alcohol. I live in NYC. I travel to France routinely and I am somewhat of a foodie and the quality of food absolutely offended my taste buds. Not to mention we had to wait for an hour and twenty minutes. Do not go to this place. I can’t stess this enough. And it’s in a basement of some building in the middle of the tackiest noisiest spring-break like place. Just go to Niagra on the Lake and pick something there.
Excellent meal. Amazing live music. Food was prepared perfectly.
Incredible as always!
Farm to table was really well done. Each course was fresh and creative. Decor was modern and done well. Could use a better wine list w more than local choices
The ambiance, the service and the food are all top rate! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here and would highly recommend dining here.
Best three course meal I've had in ages. Everything tasted amazing, service was perfect and the atmosphere was great! It was so good we want to come back for breakfast. Worth every penny, you won't be disappointed.
Lovely use of fresh, local ingredients. Corn bisque was absolutely sublime!
Great service with excellent food. Bit of a find in a very touristy area. Sensible sized portions.
