Always love Agave! Came here with friends the other night and was not disappointed. Heather is such a great and attentive server and somehow always remembers my particular changes to a standard menu item. Highly recommend!

This was our first time at the restaurant as we heard many positive reviews from our friends and family. We had reservations on a Friday night and the place was slammed. We only ate appetizers and decided to eat elsewhere being the food was subpar and it was extremely loud. We are going to give this place another shot during the weekday to see if the food is better.

Agave’ never disappoints. I am a huge fan since 2001 and everyone I introduce to this restaurant comes away thrilled they now know about it. You will not find better food, better service or better value in Atlanta in my humble opinion!

I was given a gift card for Agave. I had never heard of them before but I frequent the grant park area and knew that it would be easy to find. I took a few of my girlfriends for drinks Friday to end a stressful work week and we truly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and the drink menu was unique. It was a bit loud but that won’t deter us from returning.I’ll definitely be back for the Diablo Crawfish Pasta! * Vegetarian menu available which is a plus.

Agave is always delicious. This time we had the scallops (the best scallops I’ve ever had) and smoked shrimp (also fantastic). Mason was a great server. Look for coupons in Local Flavor.

Favorite restaurant in Atlanta! Great atmosphere, great food, and amazing drinks. Coconut and Lime margarita is the best. And scallops and trout dishes are to die for! So many good options on the menu. A must go!

I’ve been driving past this gem on Boulevard for years and finally the hubs and I decided to try it out for date night. Agave has definitely earned its place in our regular rotation from now on!

Ambiance - Very trendy spot with southwestern vibes. It’s not really a small restaurant but the tables are very cozy and it can get a little loud.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. We sat on the porch... had exceptional service (he seemed to appear ONLY when we needed something), food was creative, great presentation and delicious! Don't miss the desserts!!! Will DEFINITELY return when back in Atlanta.

Wannabe hip restaurant with a greedy vibe. Our snarky server tried to upsell anything possible during our dinner. Is this a thing now? My entre came with grilled corn. She immediately said I could "upgrade" to corn with added queseo, etc for an addtl charge. It would seem you should either serve the entre with your best side dish, or make it a la cart. Don't try and hustle me before I even had my first chip and salsa. I asked for a straw for my frozen margarita. She said sure, it will be a dollar for a metal one. I applaud they don't use plastic, but paper straws do exist and metal straws wholesale for $0.35. After dinner we declined dessert. She persisted, giving us the full description of their key lime pie. We declined again and then she said we could buy it and take it home. Does the wait staff work on a commission basis at Agave? The food itself was good enough, but when I go out to dinner I look forward to a pleasant evening in a welcoming environment. Unfortunately, we left disappointed and vaguely annoyed by the waiter who just wouldn't give it up.

This was a deeply disappointing experience for our group! I had been so excited to go back to Agave after several months and was glad to have the opportunity when I had family visiting from out of town. I chose Agave because they noted they could prepare nearly everything gluten-free and my aunt has celiac disease. Well... our server was less than helpful and seemed unaware of anything gluten-free and barely willing to ask if items could be prepared that way. He didn't even know if the chips were gluten-free. He just seemed bothered about our questions and somewhat impatient with my aunt, which I hated for her because it's hard enough to have food allergies when eating out. She didn't need more stress from him. When we got our food, none of it - other than the salsa - was good. The trout was just blah, the steak was nothing special and the shrimp was over-seasoned. I wish I had not gone back so that I could have just had good memories of the restaurant. $200ish later, I know better. Atlanta has so many amazing restaurants and the fact that I wanted to go to Agave meant something. I'm sad to cross it off my list of favorite restaurants.

My husband & I went to Agave this past Sunday night for our first wedding anniversary. It was our first time there, & when we first walked in I wasn’t sure I had chosen the right place... it’s initially dark and a little noisy when you walk in, but when we were seated and attended to I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service and actually enjoyed the eclectic environment. I ordered the swordfish with grits (those grits are ah-mazing!), a strawberry mojito, and the chocolate torte, & my husband got the lamb, a frozen mango margarita, and the key lime pie. Everything was delicious and our waiter was so warm and intuitive. A little pricey for a regular weeknight dinner, but totally worth it for a special occasion.

This was our first visit to Agave. I was meeting a friend who lives in the Grant Park area and I had asked him about places to eat and have a drink. Agave was his response and it was his favorite of all the places in that area. We started off with a drink at the Bar along with a buy on get one appetizer (5:00-7:00) and we the moved to our reserved table. The atmosphere was very pleasant, quaint and cozy. Our server was fast and courteous and offered great recommendations. He also had photography experience and took an excellent picture for us. The meal came out very quickly and was well prepared and tasted absolutely delicious! We were a little full from the apps, but powered through and ate as much as we could of the entree. I will admit, there were a few measly bites of each dish...and yes we took them home. A must stop and try it out whenever in Atlanta.

Our most recent visit was excellent. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our server was attentive and kind and brought us champagne to toast our anniversary. We enjoyed the perfectly prepared lobster tail appetizer and our usual entree was delicious (mountain trout with grits instead of rice). We finished our margaritas and enjoyed a slice of key lime pie to top off our night. Excellent!!

Had reservations and was seated immediately upon arrival. Our server name was Shay & she was awesome and extremely attentive. The manager was genuine and chatted with us for a bit and invited us to sign up for their VIP subscription. This place has a truly welcoming atmosphere and I love sitting in the loft area. We talked to other customers as if we knew them for years. Most customers were locals and you could tell the regulars from the new arrivals. Been twice already in one week & will return soon.

Delicious, as usual! I hadn’t been to Agave in about a year, and immediately wondered why I’d taken so long to return. My scallops entree was absolutely yummy. And my entire group devoured their beautifully-presented tasty meals. Audrey (wait staff) took good care of us too. See you again SOON, Agave!
