A.lure has always been my “go to” Savannah spot, but not so much this time. They were out of a few of their notable dishes, including the Peas and Carrots scallops, and the “catch of the day”. Seafood pasta was served lukewarm, needed salt, and had 2 shrimp and a few small pieces of crawfish. The chips and blue cheese was great, the crab cakes were bland and overall food presentation was very sloppy. Seemed like more than just an off night, pretty disappointing.

The waitstaff was very accommodating and pleasant. We enjoyed a cocktail at the small bar while we waited for our table (we were early). Once seated we ordered more beverages and unfortunately it took a bit of time to receive them. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. My meal, although tasty, was only at a tepid temperature.

Service is very slow. We were put in the very back, and I think they forgot about us. Shrimp & Grits were very good if you like spicy. Scallops are also very good. Meatloaf was overcooked, under seasoned and dry.

We had an early reservation and had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the environment. The food and service was excellent! Noise from the street can be a bit loud, but it was simply people out enjoying the evening. Only one single bathroom for the entire restaurant however.

This was such a breath of fresh air! We do not understand Savanah's need to try and be New Orleans or Nashville w all the super loud music. It was so nice to have a calm professional waiter, in a elegant, simple location and a wonderful menue take care of us without having to scream over the noise.

Average at best. We waited an hour for our food and the explanation we got was that they were understaffed. Not our problem. I ordered the Low Country boil. It was dry and the shrimps were overcooked. My husband ordered the seafood pasta, same thing. Waste of time and money.

Unfortunately we did not have an ideal experience. We were seated close to our reservation time (6:30) ordered a bottle of wine and ordered food, by 8pm we still had no food, frustrated and hungry we decided to leave. This was very disappointing because we were really looking forward to eating here.

We've been to A.Lure many times in the past, but this was the first time this year. We were disappointed with how loud bar patrons were at such a fine dining restaurant. It made us have to raise our voices at our table half way across the restaurant to be heard. Another negative - many items were not available - fresh catch fish, crab cakes, my wine choice, and the sorbet. It felt like the waitress had to apologize a lot. With all of the great restaurants to choose from in Savannah, I'd pass on A.Lure.

I have been to a.Lure several times and this was my most disappointing experience that we’ve had. We ordered appetizer and salads. The order came out wrong, we waited for the correct appetizer and while we were in the middle of eating them, our entrees arrived-cold. It was disappointing and we had a guest from out of town.

Always amazing food. I've been coming here ever since I discovered Savannah. The food is always delicious bit the service leaves a lot to be desired. The last three times the service has been poor. This time when I asked the waitress what the special was, she replied "everything here is special" - WHICH was cute but annoyed me when I heard the other servers telling their clients the special. Not to mention she had my main course come out just minutes after the appetizer, so i had to eat my entrée cold.

This evening was perfect. My wife and I were greeted at the door and quickly taken to our table. Once there, our hostess presented excellent service from drink order to dessert. Our meal was as we expected, both delicious and true to the spirit of the area. We highly recommend this to others.

We met a chef from the restaurant before it opened and he was so enthusiastic about the food that we decided to dine there that evening. The food was yummy; our seafood was cooked well and full of flavor. Our server was young and new to the position, and he rushed us without meaning to: entrees came out well before we finished our salads and he kept trying to clear the table while we were eating. He was a nice young man- just new to his job. We will eat here again.

This was our first time dining at a.Lure and it was the best meal we’ve ever had in Savannah. We arrive at 6:00 pm and we’re seated right away. Eddie, our waiter was excellent describing the special and making suggestions. We had read about the Rabbit Ravioli appetizer so we had to try it. It was incredibly delicious. For our entrees my wife ordered the low country boil and I had the seafood pasta. Both were perfectly prepared and the portions were larger than either of us could finish. We will go back on our next visit to Savannah.

Arguably the best upscale restaurant in Savannah for creative, contemporary low country cuisine. Homegrown executive chef uses all local or regional seafood, meat and produce to craft a solidly inventive take on traditional low country cuisine, while avoiding the multi-ingredient show-off-ishness of some star chefs. High ceilings and exposed brick add a classic Savannah ambiance to the cozy but comfortably-sized space, while muted jazz and Sinatra provide the sonic underlay. Wine list is diverse albeit not extensive. Service is attentive without being overbearing. Prices are reasonable for a quality more often found in the nearby foodie haven if Charleston. Stylish without being pretentious, creative without the look-at-me chef acrobatics. Love this place!

We celebrated our anniversary at a. Lure and it was wonderful. We had Caesar salad, rabbit ravioli, shrimp & grits and the pecan pie. All were delicious! Our server Slade was great too. We highly recommend a. Lure and would love to return in the future.

The food was excellent, Eric was our waiter. He was very good. The only problem was we were trying to leave, We had leftovers and we wanted a the bag to put them in and the barman never got it for us. We waited about 20 minutes and just lef, without a bag.
