Went to Amanda’s for Sunday Brunch with out of town relatives. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Food was delicious and service was just wonderful. Will definitely be back.

Where do i start ?????? Bar was not stocked, appetizer was prepared in a style i have never seen in 40 years of dinning out . Red sauce looked like it came out of a can . Understandable why a SUPPOSED highly rated restaurant was empty . Scary part staff from top to bottom thought everything was fine . IN DENIAL

Food was absolutely delicious, everything tastes super fresh and definitely homemade. Cocktails were well balanced and brought without delay. Cozy atmosphere and attentive service. It was our first time dining at Amanda’s and it seems they rotate specials often and we look forward to returning and trying other dishes. This a a great date and/or family dinner spot. The live music was a great touch, a throwback to restaurants of the past but still felt contemporary.

We had a wonderful time on Father’s Day at Amanda’s. We have been there before. Isabella was a wonderful server and she checked in with us often. Our food was delicious. The menu has a great assortment of dishes to please everyone, and the drinks were fantastic! We will be back again soon!

So it was a wonderful experience ambiance wise! Music was amazing, noise level also good, food was nice. So here goes the negative, food was not hot, maybe because the server ordered it and it was sitting there for a bit. Same server charged me for the wrong wine and didn’t even apologize for getting the wrong wine price. It was a forty dollar difference! When we told her she didn’t acknowledge that she was wrong just said she would talk to her manager and then came back and said it was fixed but never really acknowledged that she just charged us the wrong price for the wine we ordered! I would definitely go back , but would pray we get a different server! Obviously it’s a nice place that’s been around for ever so they’re doing something right but it’s a shame that the server was not really living up to the place!

This place felt like we were in a New Orleans restaurant! We loved the feeling, we were sat by the greeting station which was a little dark had a lot of traffic. The food was outstanding, waffles , steak and eggs , breakfast burger was cook to perfection! I will definitely return.

We had late brunch to celebrate my son’s birthday and the food and service were great. We had a couple of smoked salmon eggs Benedict, a burger, a special salad, a mushroom and goat cheese omelette and a Caesar salad with chicken. Everyone really enjoyed the food. They kept our water glasses full, something we all appreciated, and we weren’t rushed at all despite the fact that the kitchen closes at 3 and our start time ordering was after 2:15. The only things that were less than perfect, I’d say, were they neglected to bring the birthday dessert they told me they bring for my son (though it didn’t turn out to be a problem because he was very full, but still..) and although the pianist was very good, I wish we hadn’t been seated right next to him so we could hear each other converse better. But in Hoboken many restaurants and so much noisier, so I’m not really complaining, just commenting.
