My girlfriend and I were in Baltimore for the weekend for our anniversary. She had never been to Little Italy before, so I was determined to show her around and give her a good taste of the local Italian-American culture. When our initial plans fell through, we saw some reviews for Amicci's and booked a reservation for Saturday. We were seated almost immediately, our service was very good, and the food was excellent given its price point. This is casual Italian-American cuisine and Amicci's does it right. The space was very comfortable and matched the food in its appeal. I had the baked gnocchi with a vodka sauce that was very tasty and hit the spot on a chilly night. My girlfriend had tortellini carbonara (on the menu as tortellini with ham and peas), and was very satisfied. Overall, I'm really glad our initial plans fell through. Amicci's is definitely worth the try.
We were a large party celebrating a family birthday. It was our first time dining here and were so pleased with service, friendliness and food. Everything was delicious and homey. We loved it!
I visited with my mom and infant son during a recent trip to Baltimore. You can tell that this place is tried and true by the locals. The food was delicious, affordable, and the atmosphere was excellent! Something happened with our entree and it took a lot longer to come out than our appetizer, but besides that we had a top knotch visit!
I love Amicci's. Always a great place for lunch and dinner. They have the space and they are fast.
Amicci’s was fantastic. They were able to seat 9 of us in our own room. The food was excellent and our server Jake was just the best! Will definitely be going back next time I am in Baltimore!
Super nice staff and delicious food. Casual, Italian dining, what’s not to like?
You can get a carafe of wine for under $20 and the service is very attentive, and entertaining. Enjoyed the veal parm, with side of pasta. Was worth going off my keto diet just for that. Skipped the cannoli though they looked delicious. We will go back. Prices very reasonable l.
We had a reservation for 5 and were seated right away. Matt was our waiter. He was incredibly polite, friendly. Food came quickly. Was seasoned perfectly and nice and warm. Will definitely be back when in town.
Great service (thanks, Maria!) and a solid, affordable menu. Food is really good...just not great. Everyone has their own idea of what authentic Italian is, and mine includes sauce/gravy that isn't sweet. Their red sauce is pretty sweet and their Marsala is downright sugary...way sweeter than any chicken marsala I've ever had. But don't let that give you the impression that it isn't a) very tasty, and b) a good value. Both things are true, and I'm just pointing out what I would change a little if I could.
Excellent food and excellent prices. My only complaint is that the food actually came out too fast. We ordered an appetizer, salads, and pasta. The salads came out immediately after the appetizer, and the pasta dishes when we had barely touched our salads. I'd rather the food come out too quickly than take too long, but I felt rushed. I will note that we dined on a Tuesday night- so this expediency probably works well for a busy weekend night! The Penne Corleone was excellent but the real star was the Gnocchi Amicci! I had food envy and couldn't help stealing bites from my dining partner. It tasted indulgent but so fresh.
Love the marinara sauce. Have been there when in Baltimore and never disappoints. Service is very good
We've always had great meals here, but on our last visit things were not up to par. Service was exceptionally slow - our server was gone for extensive periods nowhere to be found. Drinks took forever to get to our table and when they arrived, on member of our party said it was possibly the worst cocktail he'd ever had in his life. It was just a Manhattan, so it must have been something like a dirty shaker or something. We'd have sent it back if we could have found our server, but food arrived and he just put it aside. The food continues to be very good - that's the best part. The wine list is very limited with no mid-/high- end options. For $25, our group was satisfied with what we got, but would have liked more choices.
Just ok. Nothing outstanding
We had not been in over 15 years and were ecstatic that the Pane Rotundo was as awesome as we remembered. The drinks were good and the food was great and reasonably priced. We will be back more often from now on!
The service was great and ambiance was ok. I ordered the Shrimp Salerno. While the flavors were great, I just wish the serving portion was larger for the price ($19).
Yum! We enjoyed the food. Our table was a little awkwardly close to another table when there was plenty of room.
From the welcoming staff to the personable, energetic, friendly server, Jake, the experience was terrific!! And the food & adult beverages were right on the mark!!!
Will definitely return!!!
Delicious! Nice cozy little Italian restaurant in Little Italy. The baked gnocchi was phenomenal, pane rotundo was garlicky and delicious. My boyfriend had the linguini and meatballs and said it was very good. I also had the mussels that were done and seasoned perfectly. Cocktails were good and fairly priced. And we had delicious Tiramisu to end a wonderful meal (which was given to us for free due to the restaurant closing for the night).
Just perfect for my family of 10. Great service. Great food. It was exactly what we hoped for and wanted. Menu was simple and easy to work with. Drinks were were awesome. Ages 5 to 80 walked away super happy.
Coming from Philadelphia, I was skeptical that I would find a good Italian restaurant to my liking. Well, I did. Good food, good service, good prices. Had a very enjoyable meal. Will definitely be back.
Delicious Out of town with my kids they loved it too!
Favorite restaurant in Little Italy! Would always recommend!
Always - ALWAYS- amazing. You can always count on Amicci’s to be perfect. Baltimore’s best Italian!
We first discovered Amicci's on a leisure trip to Baltimore from our home in York, Pa., several years ago. Since then, we try to have a meal at Amicci's every time we visit Inner Harbor. We love walking the cobblestone streets in the quaint village of Little Italy. The atmosphere of Amicci's is perfect for a quiet business lunch or a group dinner with friends. On this trip, I had the eggplant parmesan and pasta and took half of it home. Of course, it didn't help that I couldn't stop eating the crusty bread dipped in olive oil (notice the empty basket in my picture). Thanks, Amicci's, for your consistent hospitality and excellent service.
We went with my in laws to celebrate my MIL’s birthday. The food was very good, and it was a very nice celebration albeit low-key.
This place is most definitely one of my guilty pleasures. Of course we inhale tons of delicious appetizers/main courses. We always leave with take home because the portions are so large. Real Italian fresh food with very reasonable prices if you should ever get stuck with the bill. Its worth every coin I have. I have been going here for 6 years.
Been coming here for years. Great food and service as always.
Grabbing dinner with an old friend after a ball game, this was down the street from our B&B. Reviews were good so we decided to give it a try.
Seating was prompt, atmosphere was lively with families predominating. Service was friendly and eager. Menu offerings were fairly standard Southern Italian. Chicken Parm, grilled chicken Caesar, Bolognese and a side of meatballs were the orders. Generous portions, salad dressing drew raves. Overall impression was that this is solid but standard. Value for quality and portions was good. Just don't expect creative Gourmet quality fare.
Love Amicci's! The food is always so good. The service is quick and their staff is so warm and inviting. I've only ever had great experiences here.
We had really great food. Service was exceptional and even their basic salad question very good. Very good Italian dinner.
I love this restaurant and have been many many times. This time however, we sat in a back room behind the back and I guess because of its close quarters, it was very loud. But that was the only downside as it was hard to hear the people right across from me. Otherwise, really great service and great food at reasonable prices as always.
Nice restaurant, recommended by a local friend as I am from out of state in town for a short time. Server Matt was attentive and knowledgeable, food authentic and wonderful. Nice place to dine.
Shrimp was dry and tough. No bread offered. Not the quality of years ago.
The food was amazing and the service was great. Would definatly recommend to all for excellent authentic Italian cuisine.
Never disappointed with a dinner from Amicci's. Atmosphere, service and value for your money! Can't speak highly enough of this restaurant. Enjoy
great food and great service and prices at an Italian restrauant walking distance from the inner harbor
Amicci’s gave very generous portions of very delicious pasta! My friend ordered the bolognese and I got the tortellini, and we were both very satisfied—and stuffed—by the end of dinner. We also split the fried calamari as an appetizer, which tasted really fresh and came with marinara, and got a litre of the red house wine. Our waiter was also very friendly and the restaurant was cute, so I would recommend to anyone checking out little Italy in Baltimore.
Food was good (although I think you can find better in Little Italy) and it came out quickly, but the service was terrible. Our waiter acted like we were inconveniencing him whenever we had a request. He never brought out our drinks and when we asked about it, he argued back and forth with us saying we had never placed a drink order (which we had because we had a discussion with him about the options). My husband complained to the manager and there was no offer of comping anything or apology.
In for work, and arrived late on a Sunday (near 9pm). Was THRILLED they were even open that late. Food was amazing - fresh and not “end of the night” staleness. Jovan was a great server, and my boyfriend and I had a very lovely meal after a LONG day of travel!
This is our go-to Italian place in Baltimore--we eat here monthly and LOVE it. The portions are huge, hot and delicious and we've been taking our boys since they were babies (family friendly, but not chaotic). Thanks!
Amiccis is a wonderful italian restaurant located in the heart of Little Italy. The lunch menu is amazing as lasagna is only $8 and you get a large portion. I would go all the time if I lived in Baltimore. Go, it is wonderful!!!!
