    The Memory BankOur private dining room located right off our main dining room. This beautifulroom boasts contemporary décor and is completely private. It’s ideal for anintimate party or business meeting. It has a Bluetooth integrated TV, allowingfor easy set up. It can be set up for a cocktail style arty or for a seated dinner.The Memory Bank’s capacity is 30 people.The MixerLocated right off our lounge, this room is private but still offers views of the restaurantallowing your guests to still feel the vibrancy of a busy night. It’s warm and inviting,contemporary and comfortable, with a fire place and soft seating. This room can be set up with large banquet style tables, or multiple small tables for a cocktailstyle party. It also has a Bluetooth integrated TV, which can be used for a presentation or tocustomize your event. The Hospitality Suite’s capacity is 50 people.

    Overall it was a great experience! We did find that the spice levels of some foods were not fully described on the menu! Service was prompt and efficient!

    The food was really good. And our server was very nice! The only thing would be a little bit of music in the background. It’s too quiet, you can everyone’s conversations! But I’m definitely going back

    We hadn’t been here in over 4 years so didn’t know what to expect. We were very pleased with our experience. Service was great, the food really good, and the atmosphere warm. And the preset tip prompts when we paid were not unreasonably high. All in all, a very enjoyable dinner.

    The place was very quiet on a Monday night. Found the food to be very average and nothing special. Paella was good and the duck was very dry. So 2 meals out of 4 were okay whereas the others were not very good.

    We really enjoyed the turnip soup for the appetizers our main entrees I had the Pom Pom chicken and I found it quite dry the meat itself but the flavour was good of the entire dish. Husband had bison lasagna he found some of it was burnt almost so wasn’t able to finish eating the meal. Never complained just maybe the cook last night was over cooking food?

    We went to Ampersand for Sunday brunch. Don't go early as they don't open until 10:30 although we waited in the lobby of the hotel and there was coffee and tea nearby. The food was not great..we had chilaquiles but the salsa verde was from a jar and they barely had any on he chips...we had to ask for more salsa..and the eggs were not cooked enough. My dining mate had eggs benedict and the eggs were poached hard and the dish was cold. it was just an ok meal but not pricey for what you get these days. Maybe it was an off day? lots of restaurants in town...you gotta be really good to get me back.

    I was disappointed to take my friend for her 50th birthday to enjoy the brunch charcuterie- the meal was cold and very much below average - our server was kind, but it didn't make up for a poor experience for such a special day

    We always love going here. There is one server who remembers us but we were not in their section last evening. We had someone a bit newer but he still made us feel welcome. Choosing the right gin is always interesting for my other half:) such a huge selection! Thanks again!

    We are so excited to come to this restaurant, when I booked the reservation I did say it was our anniversary ( 1st wedding anniversary actually ). The ambience is very nice, server was great , but the food was subpar , the first attempt at my main course was terrible , the food was like warm at best, they did remake it for me , and to be honest I can’t remember the last time I sent food back at a restaurant, we eat out quite a bit , the second attempt the steak was much better but the garlic mashed potatoes first and second round were not good. I’m sorry but it wasn’t the best experience. We were quite disappointed. And no one mentioned our anniversary 🤔

    Ambiance was wonderful; the kind of place I'll go back to again and again because it felt so relaxing and comfortable to be there. Superlative music choices. Excellent cocktails. Service was perfect - attentive without being intrusive; wait staff was knowledgeable and informative without being overbearing; noticed little things and addressed them (e.g., bringing along a side bowl of capers with my steak tartare). Perfect mix of warmth and professionalism. Food and drinks were quite enjoyable and portion size was just right. Certainly a restaurant I'll visit again.

    The soup had way too much pepper and/or spices. Maybe it was just an error in that particular dish, but it couldn’t be eaten. The server did not apologize and did not offer a free replacement. He actually became defensive claiming there was only black pepper in it.

    Ordered waffles for brunch which were disappointing. Whipped cream was not real cream and maple syrup was table syrup which made the experience cheap. Service was good and decor is beautiful with good ambiance.

    Such a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance and decor, the feeling feels quite comfy with the beautiful fireplace to look upon. The food needed no extra spice or seasoning which I appreciated and was to die for. Such great options for brunch I can’t wait to go back.

    Everything else was perfect except for a brunch ambience because it was too dark. It may be good for a dinner lighting but we asked to sit closer to the window because there's barely any light

    Ordered a burger. Bun was chewy and the burger hadn’t formed properly so fell apart. Not what you would expect for a $21 burger.

    Food preparation, taste and presetationn was outstanding! We especially enjoyed the multitude of flavors in the stacked beet salad with goat cheese. Beautiful furnishings and ambiance in the dining room.

    I highly recommend Ampersand 27, and I especially call attention to our server, Daria S. The server can make or break the dining experience. I arrived early and sat writing an important message. Daria came to my table promptly, filled the water glasses, greeted me and saw I was busy. She watched my table, while she waited on other tables, and saw when I was done writing. Then she promptly came by and took my drink order. She was attentive throughout our meal, refilling my coffee cup before it was 3/4 done, took away our empty plates. And I’ve never seen someone smile so often. Do you remember what politeness is? It is Daria S. The food was delicious. And the prices reasonable, almost amazingly reasonable. I recommend Ampersand 27 enthusiastically, with my whole heart. (BTW, I’ve also trashed restaurants viciously, when it is merited. I’m speaking to the reliability of this evaluation.)
