Father’s Day brunch was amazing! Has an awesome seat looking at the water and our server was so great with recommendations! Would definitely go back. Everyone loved it. Would definitely recommend the beer flights and the brisket! Ribs were amazing also

It has a nice view but the food is not special. A place just for a drink, it does not worth it for lunch nor dinner.

The Raptors were playing so it was busy and noisy. Our waiter was fine but a little slow with requests we made. The food was ok. i substituted Caesar salad for fries. I felt the salad portion was small. Plus the croutons were 2 large toast crackers that practically covered the bowl.
Someone is really monitoring the food cost with this small portion.

Didn't have a great meal this time. It was the first time the food was disappointing. The food mostly arrived to our table cold. Our friend's veggie burger was stone cold. The second wasn't much better. My brisket was also barely warm. The place was busy, I get it but this is just table stakes for a decent restaurant.

Great location on the water, food was better than I was expecting. The buffalo cauliflower was amazing. It's very loud in there if you are expecting to have much of a conversation, but great place to grab a good meal.

Apps and beers are the only thing worth ordering... mains were horrible: Food took 30 min to come, fish and chips batter was THICK, not crispy, turkey sandwich portion ridiculously small, and brikey sandwich was oily and so ugly that you thought it was a squished mcdonald’s burger...

A group of friends and I visited Amsterdam Brewhouse for an early birthday get together. We made a reservation in advance, but upon arriving opted for the patio. There seemed to be a lot of confusion at the patio host stand about projected wait times, whether there were tables available, what the process was for seating us when we had a reservation inside, etc. Everyone we spoke to seemed to direct us to go somewhere else, so we went inside and back outside a couple of times before we had a clear idea what was going on.

We were seated within several minutes after our group pointed out a table that was open (after being told it would be an hour wait and 0 tables available), so fortunately we weren't waiting long. It took awhile for our server to greet us, but she was friendly and took the time to get our initial orders. A few beer selections were unavailable, which we were notified of after about 10 minutes when the other guests' drinks were dropped off. Service was particularly slow after we placed our drink orders. It took awhile for us to get our server back to place food orders, and trying to get another round of drinks was another lengthy wait, or one person would be asked for their order and our server would leave before getting the rest of the guests' orders, so we weren't all receiving rounds of drinks at the same time. We all happen to work in the service industry as well and were forgiving of a lot of the missteps, but it was definitely a bit off-putting since we normally really enjoy coming to the restaurant.

We likely would have stayed longer if there was more consistency in the service (and if those few beers we were hoping to enjoy were available -- seemed bizarre that at 2:30PM on a Friday, at least 3 beers were already out of stock. The last few times I've visited, the KLB Raspberry Wheat has been 86ed). Would still recommend Amsterdam to others, but this visit unfortunately missed the mark for us.

Not sure if it’s because I booked on OpenTable. But all reservations were ignored because they had booked a separate private party. Had to wait in line. Had to sit outside. They said it was going to rain so we should hurry up because they couldn’t move us inside.

Great place and lots of great food and beverage options. Staff were fun and engaging. We Enjoyed the fact it was Canada music week. The performance was VERY loud. Speaker right on top of us. We finished dinner and bailed during performance as we couldn’t chat at all.

Although the food was good the service was terrible. The drinks took forever and the meals even longer. The pizzas arrived 10 minutes before my wife’s chicken did. The waiter seemed to be totally stressed and kept blaming the kitchen. We talked to a manager and expressed our concerns. I thought they would have credited at least something but nothing was done.

It will be a while before I go back.

Great pre-Jays game dinner spot. Enjoyed spinach dip with garlic knots which were a great change over usual boring nacho chips. Mains if brisket burger and fish tacos. Both very good, great presentation and good portion sizes. Sat on upper level table for 2. Tried a few beers and all were good. Definitely plan to return.

I LOVE the location, the food and the ambiance. You don’t even have to like beer to eat here. I’ve been bringing friends to this restaurant for a few years now and most people are surprised how awesome this place is. We got lucky and they had the upper level open when we were here for lunch this past week.

It’s also a great place to go and people watch. It overlooks Lake Ontario.

Excellent service, wonderful food, drink selection is all from their own brewery so if you're looking to grab a Guinness, you're SOL. Their own beers are amazing (partial to boneshaker myself) and the pretzels are to die for. Fare is standard pub fare for the most part, and priced pretty standard for a Toronto restaurant, but it's excellent. I also liked the ambiance. Any restaurant that doesn't play trap/reggaeton infuse RnB Top 40 trash is OK with me. I was able to understand the conversations with my friend I brought with me. Either way, outstanding experience. You gotta eat/drink here.

Leafs and raptors both playing in the playoffs, so you expect a bit of noise which totally cool. Food was great came out quick and even with a pretty full house. Waiter was great and came over at the right times to check on us. Been here a number of times and it's things like this that keep us coming back
