Welcome to The BrewHouse, home of Toronto’s largest waterfront craft brewery, restaurant and retail store . We are centrally located in the city of Toronto, just steps away from the CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium, Rogers Centre, Scotiabank Arena and Union Station.

Our 14,000 square foot space is situated on the Toronto Harbourfront with four large outdoor patios and landscape views of the Toronto Islands. Inside we have a brewery 2 bars and a fire place to keep you cozy.

It’s a great place. Full of action and the food is pretty good. We had an excellent waiter but a series of events went against us. Firstly, they got my order wrong and I received Thai Chicken curry instead of Tofu. So it needed to be remade and by the time I got it my partner had finished eating. But they offered free dessert which we accepted “to go” and appreciated. But that took soooo long we almost left. Our waiter apologised many times and communicated best he could (it was really busy). He brought our desserts in a bag finally and apologised again saying they’d also included a bottle of wine for us which we felt was above and beyond. But we were grateful. However, once we got outside there was no bottle of wine in the bag!! We actually found that hilarious 😆 However, I would go back again and believe it was just “one-of-those-days”!! It’s a cool place 😊

The wait for food was over an hour and when it did come it was cold. We only saw our server at the beginning, it was everyone else bringing our drinks and food. Zero water refills.

We arrived at 9:40 for our 10pm reservation and didn’t get seated until 10:15. We were told food would be over an hour and drink last call was 10:45 which was strange as the advertised closing time was was midnight. Because of the long wait we wanted to order immediately and when we did they weren’t offering even half the menu. So my vegan and pescatarian friends were then trying to modify some items to make them accommodate their dietary restrictions, to which the server said the kitchen was unwilling to do so due to the high volume of food orders. So they got the only option they could eat and one of my friends really didn’t enjoy it at all. I got the brisket sandwich with a Caesar salad and for a $3.50 upgrade it was incredibly small. The small bowl was only half full and there was way too much dressing it was gathering at the bottom. Sandwich with as also not that great. We ordered drinks and my friends drinks were fine, I got the peach margarita which was tequila, peach schnapps, lime and peaches. There was no peaches in my drink, and the drink tasted very bad. Myself and my friends are all bartenders and I had them try it as well and we all made a face when trying it. Something was definitely wrong in the making of it. I couldn’t drink more than 2 sips of it, and my go to drink is a margarita and I’ve never not been able to finish a margarita. But as the staff were obviously stressed out and unable to accommodate any dietary needs earlier we left it as is, drank water instead of the drink I paid for, tipped well (as we also work in the industry) and ended our nights earlier than intended.

It pains me to say this as we used to really enjoy Amsterdam, but the food was TERRIBLE. First, it got delivered to the wrong table. After those people finished taking food pics, the server realized the error and brought it to ours. We ordered buffalo cauliflower and the guacamole. The cauliflower had maybe 8 pieces and it was gooey, not crispy. The guacamole comes served with a giant pestle in the middle of it to disguise how little guac is actually there. We also ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and the fish tacos. The chicken sandwich was horribly under-seasoned: it was just a bunch of deep fried batter on super thin chicken. Seriously…zero flavour. The fish tacos were also under seasoned and tasted very fishy. The batter was also not crispy. Unfortunately we are unlikely to return after that debacle.

The main course was great, I had the brisket sandwich. My son had the kids cheese burger which was great for the price. We had the pretzel which was also amazing. The cinnamon roll dessert was not good. Tasted stale and was tough. Server was great, except she took my son's birthday post card and never did anything with it, didn't even seem to know what it was. Overall, good enough experience that I would still go back.

Everything from service to food was outstanding. We had to request a different table, we had the sound speaker on top of us, and it was super noisy. The place in general was a little bit dirty on the floor, I guess there were too many kids running, but everything else was magnificent.

Always stop in before a Jays game. Had a noon reservation, but GO trains were all running late. Messaged ahead and they were able to move our reservation back and were ready for us when we finally arrived. Had a great meal with some cold 3 speeds. Always a lot of fun there.
