Was recommended by my son , we thought the food was good but found it very noisy, definitely not for quiet conversation . Next time I would opt for the patio
Great beers, ok food menu but skip the dessert. Stop at their beer store to take some home.
We like the food and beer at Amsterdam Brew House, great place to meet friends before a concert or game.
Lovely food, great service, a little pricey but the food was worth it.
Great service and atmosphere. Food was literally ice cold. Was my birthday - drove 5hrs to eat ice cold food that made Kraft dinner look gourmet. Brutal. Sure the view is great but why eat garbage by the water? Went and got street meat after and sat by the harbour - the way to go for sure!
Sean was our waiter. Knew the menu and beer pairings 👍🏼. Only issue the beer selection was sparse. Love this place. Reservations are the way to go
Liam was my server. And it was terrible. Never coming back!
Unfortunately the food that we ordered was not what we were expecting. We ordered the lettuce wraps and did not like the stir-fry filling that goes with it. We mentioned it to our waiter but he didn’t offer anything, just took our plate away. Ambiance is nice and I’m sure there is other stuff on the menu that is good, but was disappointed with a bill of $85 and the food.
We enjoyed the food, drink and location. Wil definately return when down this way.
My son has nut allergies and they were very accommodating. They maslde sure of no cross contamination with chef. The service was very fast and the food was great.
Server was excellent at being able to see we were heading to the ballgame didn’t offer dessert because of it but took excellent care of us.
Gave excellent recommendations for our beers with our meals based on our likes too.
Awesome view too.
Amsterdam never disappoints
Awesome. First date and it did the trick.
Our waiter was excellent. Food was good. Bit noisy to talk - felt like we were shouting.
Love this place. The inside is beautiful and so is the patio. The only issue is the TVs can be very, very loud.
But the patio is pretty much second-to-none for waterfront patios in Toronto, and the food is very tasty. Great service as well.
Overall great experience, only minor complaint is the place is really loud.
Making a reservation was easy, and we were seated as soon as we walked in. I'm glad we made one as it was busy when we went! Food was good and has been both times we've come. Our server reccomended the cauliflower bites and we were not disappointed. Only thing I was unhappy with was they were out of a lot of the craft beers but that just means they've been busy!
You get plenty of food for the price and you can't go wrong sitting inside or out on the patio! We'll be back for sure
Yummy food, great environment and wonderful waterfront views!
The place was fun, but because of the vastness of it, service was extremely slow and not very attentive. We were seated early, but our orders were not taken (aside from drinks) for more than an hour - and even then, food didn't come for about another hour. Good thing we were not starving or we would have left. Overall, it was ok, but far from fantastic. I'd recommend coming here only if you have at least 1hr to spare before you start thinking of food.
Much bigger place than I was expecting so initially feared we would be struggling for good service. Couldn’t be more wrong- Rachel was a wonderful host, recommending beers/ flights and food that were all excellent. Highly recommended
Took my 90 year old nanny for her birthday; she LOVED it. She said the margarita was one of the best she’s had...and, she’s had a lot! The crab cakes were amazing. Great food, drink and atmosphere!
We enjoyed our evening at Amsterdam Brewhouse. The service was excellent, we had a great table and view, but we were a little disappointed with the beers that were unavailable and the fact that the restaurant ran out of Pinot Grigio. I'm not sure what the reasoning is for only having 5oz glasses and then full bottles of wine, but it would have been nice to have the option of a larger glass or half litre, particularly with the prices you are charging for wine.
Service was subpar. Section we were sitting in was mass confusion. Food was dreadful for the price. The view and the drinks are the only things warranting a rating. Fairly disappointed.
Restaurant was really busy. Server was really friendly and energetic despite being obviously swamped. Food was rushed and it showed. Buffalo cauliflower and beer were amazing though.
Had a great time. Restaurant was easy to find. We arrived almost an hour early for our reservation and the team was very accommodating and was able to seat us right away. All in all a great first visit. Will return next time inam in Toronto
Fantastic server. We had a trainee (I believe his name was Jack---Irish guy). Very engaging, fun and made great recommendations on the menu. We had fun and will be back. Thanks
Nice to suit outside by the water and also be in the shade
After seated in a very hot area, we never had a server come to the table. We finally left. Not a great way to celebrate my husband’s birthday.
Wish that my online special request for “patio seating” had been honoured. I was not advised ahead of time that this was not an option. And when we arrived I was told by a very cheeky hostess (while she stroked her braids) that they don’t reserve patio seats and that it’s first come first serve basis. When I asked if there was anything she could do since we were celebrating my friends’s birthday. She said no and that I’d have to wait 40 mins for a spot on the patio. So we went inside. We weren’t even seated by a window. We were tucked out of the way. People who walked up got better seating than we did. Service and food were fine. But disappointed with how the reservation was handled.
It was not a good experience. The service was terrible! They brought out our mains before our apps. They mistook our table for other tables many times by bringing us meals that were not ours. My husband also had plastic in his food! We ordered drinks which never came but we were charged for. When we complained, the manager said ‘‘mistakes happen” (regarding the plastic! Which should NEVER happen) and they offered us a round of shots, clearly not realizing we are not the clientele for that. We did not want that so he offered us 25% off our bill. However when the bill came, 25% was only taken off my husband’s meal. It was rectified, however we will not be returning any time soon.
The food was delicious, but wish the service was better. The server never came in to check up on us such that my glass of water was empty all evening. She only came to take our order 30 minutes after we sat down, the food was late, and she didn't even visit so we could tell her we wanted the check until 30 min after we were done. .
Excellent service, the food and drinks are great!! I totally recommended.
We went here after a Blue Jays game...thankfully we made a reservation because the place was packed! The beer is good but they also have a full bar which makes it easier to bring anyone along! Had the ravioli and brick chicken, both excellent. We sat upstairs and it's much quieter but has limited TVs. Overall, good experience!
Always fantastic food and great beer. It’s on our list every time we’re in Toronto.
Was pleasantly surprised at the wide-ranging menu choices and the $ value of the delicious food. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the menu items and was attentive during the meal. Highly recommended.
Good quality food and good vegetarian options.
Quite expensive for the amount of food with respect to the vegetarian bowls. You could include more vegetables for $17.
Very noisy. Was hard to hear my friend. We were sitting upstairs above the bar.
Fantastic friendly servers each time we've come.
The ambiance is nice and being on the waterfront is great. The only thing is it is not worth the waitime and the service is very slow. We had a reservation and still had to wait up 15 min for a table. We had asked the hostess if we can have a table near by near the window and she responded “No this is your table” and proceeded to give attitude when I asked for more of an explanation. To then have another hostess (I assume because she was dressed differently than the others) offer us the table. Our server was very friendly but we waited 20 minutes for water, and by the time my beer got to me it was fairly flat. Food was good, but not above average. I normally would recommend the restaurant because of location and ambiance (it is a beautiful space, very much elevated pub) but I can’t look past the service. I’m sorry I really did want to love it.
We sat outside on the covered patio, a bit windy but they give you fleece blankets to wrap around, very cozy.
The food was excellent! My husband said it was one of the best brisket dinners he ever had ( well travelled all over southern States to know what the real deal is) and I had the lemon chicken schnitzel - it was yummy. Had to try a flight of beer, we tried the Leaside local brews, different but really good.
Nice place to taste differents kinds of beers! I recommend you!
It would be nice if you had a few reserved parking spaces as it is hard to park for lunch. it was a pleasant environment for a group of senior ladies celebrating a birthday
