I made a reservation and when I got there they didn’t have my name down at all but figured it was because of how recent I made the reso, the male host was amazing and told me that normally they don’t do reservations on the patio but he squeezed us in anyways! I was waiting for two friends and they’re not from here so don’t have cell phones that work and when they arrived the host inside told them I had never arrived and wouldn’t sit them to a table meanwhile I was waiting for them outside for 20 minutes.. after we finally found one another the service took at least 20 minutes to get ours drinks after asking 3 waiters for them. The food came out faster then anything but was a 4/10 at best. I’ve heard mixed reviews about this place but after experiencing it for myself I’d say it’s only popular for the waterfront location.

A hopping bar scene and a very cool space albeit a bit of a tourist trap. Location is terrific if you are staying near conference center. It was very busy the night we arrived and service was poor, food decent, beers terrific.

Even though we made a reservation, it took a 15min to get our table ready. Service was really slow to get food to our table. Our reservation was for 7:30 & our food didn't come till 8:30pm. Some of the other tables around us ordered after us & received their food first! How sad... Plus the food was Luke warm almost room temperature. We order a pizza & salad with chicken which is pretty a simple order. Very pricey menu for something that I am pretty sure I can make at home better. Pizzeria libretto makes better pizza IMHO.

The food was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. Visited at sunset which was gorgeous. The only bad experience was the our waiter often took a long time to help us and he smelled very strongly of smoke, suggesting that he was smoking instead of helping us.

The food was cold and over priced. We had to send it back because it was cold and then came back and was still cold. Waiter did not tell us if sides cost extra also and not included.

Amsterdam never disappoints! It’s a good place to hang out, spend some time and drink good beer!
Sometimes the service is slow, but, overall, it is a good place!

Amsterdam Brewhouse was a great experience overall! We sat up on the top floor indoors and had a lovely view of the lake as the sun was setting. The beer was fantastic and the fish tacos were heavenly:) Thanks for a great time!

Drink service was a bit slow. Food was quicker than ever. A balance in between the two would be ideal. Beer arriving to the table wasn’t as crisp/cold as one would hope or expect at a “brewhouse”. They also ran out of their own amber ale, at 5pm?

The food was tasty but the music volume was just too loud. If you’re going for a date, then I’d recommend asking to be seated on the patio but NOT in the under-cover part which was just really noisy

I wish the service was a bit better - we were often left with empty drinks and it took a while to get them refilled.

I love this place so much and love the vibe there, but I would say that some of our meals were just terrible done. I had the Southwest Chicken Pizza and it was so saucy that our pizza was soggy - it was pretty much tossed around as a sample that everyone kept passing away... quite disappointed on that because the pizzas use to be quite good. Other than that, drinks were great.

It was extremely hot in there especially on a humid day, so i would recommend crankin' the ACC especially when you sit 9 people in a small seating area.

Great food served by the worst sever I have had in a restaurant in a very long time. We almost left because the sever was so bad. Took 15 minutes to visit the table and had the personality of a turnip. Watched him underwhelm the tables around us too.

This was our third or 4th visit for food and drinks but the first time sitting inside. The food was good except for 1 mistake which was correctly. Unfortunately our group of 7 which included two twelve year olds were seated under speakers and in a very high traffic area next to the bar. The noise level was much too high for family dining and we had great difficulty carrying on a conversation.

The food came out super quick and tasted great. The only thing we were disappointed with was ..not getting the dessert we had requested for our friends birthday. There were 3 of us and I had called ahead to ensure a dessert with sparklers or candles would come out at the end for our friend - which the person on the phone said would be no problem. At the end of our meal, we had an awkward moment of just staring at each other and looking around wondering if it was coming. When we realized it wasn't we just asked for the bill as we had been sitting around for a while at that point. Other than that the service was still great but it did take away from our experience as our get together was for a birthday.
