   I made a reservation through OpenTable, but the location was closed! When I called the hotel to inquire about this, they said that the restaurant was closed the entire weekend. No explanation on why reservations were still available on OpenTable. If you want to dine here, know that making a reservation online guarantees nothing.

   Ordered the truffle fries, calimari, and edemame dumplings. The fries were the best of the three. They came crispy and packed with flavor. The calimari tasted frozen and the dumplings had very little flavor. My colleagues ordered the burger and they said it was okay. I ordered the steak salad and it was awful. The steak had zero flavor… no salt, no pepper, no seasoning at all. The dressing on the salad was good but there was not enough. I think this is a better place for happy hour ordering appetizers than lunch. I hope their dinner entrees are better, otherwise I would not return. It’s a shame because the space is beautiful and potentially a great place for a business lunch or dinner.

   I was NOT amused by this place at all! From the very start, badly photocopy of a menu! Next the appetizer- I love coconut shrimp so I ordered it. It was every kind of wrong! I think it was a panko shrimp. Was supposed to be served with mango chutney. I was give a salty cup if soy sauce. I should have stopped there but I was hungry so went for a burger. I watched the last prepare the sandwich. The it sat and it sat and it sat, and not under any kind of a heat lamp. Finally the Skinny fries, really frites, but what would they know, we’re added. Watched the server take and old bottle of catsup and bang it into a cup to be served most unceremoniously. The burger, besides being cold, had ZERO seasoning and no flavor. I find mushed Hal of it just cause I was hungry. This was my first night and definitely my last night to eat there again. Stay away, don’t waste time or money! Too many other choices!

   I am a regular at Amuse Le Meridien, as it is next door to my office. The food, service and ambience all top my list—-excellent. I want to give Doug, bartender and who graciously waited on us a “high five”. He was always pleasant and helpful. His recommendation Cajun Penne and Old Bay chicken wings just hit a spot.

   Went to Amuse for Mother's Day brunch based on reviews and online menu. What a misrepresentation of what they offered. The menu was not what they showed on their website at all (Ihop has a better menu) The menu was an offering of plain basic breakfast items. No Eggs Benedict or Poached Eggs & Smoked Trout as shown on their website. Waiter was wearing a Sous Chef uniform, coffee wasn't hot (Not even warm) had to wait 10 minutes to get cream. Plates came out ungarnished and looking mediocre. Food was not hot, not all items delivered, toast came only after asking for it twice. Dirty plates were never removed from table, no coffee refill offered. Never a check back to see if everything was OK. So in short, $65 for brunch for 2 people was a total rip off. I would be ashamed if I were Marriott Corp.

    We booked this reservation knowing our travel plans would get us to the area late and we wanted to be sure we had a dining option. I received confirmations, but when we arrived we were told the dining room and terrace were closed due to covid. We were invited to eat in the bar, which we didn’t feel safe doing. We were left to scramble to find a place to eat since it was late. They should update their Open Table listing!

    We had an amazing evening filled with good people, good food, and a great live music venue. This is why amusé is one of my favorite restaurants in the metro dc area. I look forward to many more evenings here.

    The outdoor patio with a spectacular jazz performance was delightful. First seating seemed a bit rushed but servers were efficient, considerate and helpful. They even offered to take a photo of our table with the cityline view as backdrop.

    This restaurant has been closed since March 2020 at the start of COVID. No where does it say that. We were headed there and I happened to call. It was embarrassing as I had a meeting with a prospective client. Big let down.

    Such a great dinner for a special event at the restaurant tonight. The Rosslyn Jazz supper club with live Latin music on the terrace. They spoiled us and we received a lot of goodies. Manager and servers were wonderful. Beautiful ambiance! Food was great. Music was great. Beautiful restaurant on a perfect September evening. Covid-19 standards were in place and their sanitation standards between seatings were very high.

    Sometimes you shy away from hotel restaurants, given they may not provide the atmosphere or uniqueness that sets them apart. NOT so with Amuse at LeMeridien! I have been in this restaurant for all sorts of meals, and by far, the breakfast service - welcoming, energetic, and tasty - outshines the other meals of the day.

    The restaurant is well furnished and has a nice view (both through the window and into the kitchen). But the food and it’s presentation didn’t live up to the hype. Plastic to-go containers were used on the cheese tray, the ravioli looked like it came out or a Trader Joe’s package. And it was just way too pricey for what we got. Staff was very nice though.

    The relaxed feel of the restaurant made for a comfortable dining experience - something that my colleague noticed and who was himself very pleased. I definitely would return to try more dishes; especially with such well-timed service (that I found to be fantastic). I personally felt that the grilled shrimp was a bit too salty, but that would not preclude me from visiting again.

    In an area where just about everything is fast food what a nice treat for a lunch that is made of real food. If you are in the area for business don't waste your time on these fast food salad places or other chain restaurants. Go for a good quality meal with fast service and good atmosphere.

    The wait service was slow and the server was unfriendly. We waited 20 min for our water and to have our order taken. On the plus side, the hostess was great and refilled our water when we were almost empty.
