We were happy to spend some time at this lovely place for Father’s Day. Gluten friendly and yummy! We will be back!
Everything is pretty great but the Chicken tacos.....again below average.
Always Amazing ! Love the food , staff are always friendly!
I was pleasantly surprised by Anejo. I had never heard of it until it was suggested to me. I didn’t have any expectations. I am very happy with the food and service. Our waiter was fun and took my friends allergy seriously.
I will return again!
Drinks were awesome. Great atmosphere. Guacamole was awesome. Tacos were average.
The guacamole was veryy tasty and made tableside so nice and fresh. Our server wasn’t the most helpful. Because my partner can’t have sugar, he asked if there was sugar in the chicken tacos and the server said, ”I wouldn’t know about that.” without offering to check with the chef. My partner got the shrimp tacos which were very good. Overall we found it loud and not the best margarita I’ve had around town so we probably won’t be back.
Amazing service, amazing happy hour, amazing tacos
When it’s busy service is not great but the food is amazing
Happy hour was awesome! The margaritas are outstanding and I don’t even like tequila!
Such delicious margaritas!
Our server was amazing!
We always take our out of town guests to Anejo. Great experience every time.
Fresh delicious food served by professional engaging staff. Tequila flights were wicked, classic margherita was aces.
Amazing guacamole. Margaritas were incredible, and it was late in the evening, so it turned out to be happy hour. 10/10 would go again.
Chile relleno and tres leche cake were delicious. Already planning our next visit!
Always nice to have a margarita and some fresh made in front of you salsa and guacamole. We were at happy hour so it is even more fun. We had the tacos. All were good but while the tilapia one's were good it could had had a bit more in it the taco. salad or salsa or just more tilapia!
Amazing place. First visit was for my birthday. Reservations were easy to make, staff were friendly as hell and our waitress was fairly knowledgeable about the tequila tastings. Food was prime. Scene was modern and upbeat. Would 100% recommend. Friggin loved the place. :)
Best tacos and margaritas in town. Lot’s of great flavours and choices for tacos. Always very busy and a great atmosphere inside. Not a quiet restaurant on a Friday night Happy hour deals are great!
Always an amazing time at Anejo - you can’t beat it!
My Chicken tacos were nice , but the ceviche wasn’t very tasty also the price was not worth the dish. Had ceviche in Mexico, Costa Rica and Boston lately and it was not comparable! One persons taco portions didn’t reflect the price and the flavour was just decent not amazing just okay. (Tilapia taco) the rest of our party was happy with their food
Over all it’s pretty over priced but the decor, location, service and happy hour is worth a return!
Table was in a poor location which was unreasonable given we made a reservation a week in advance. Service was pretty awful. Server rolled her eyes when one of the guests at the table indicated they had a nut allergy.
Anejos has some of the best guacamole in the city. Worth the drive and the difficulty parking. The ambience is great. It is pretty loud in there a can be hard to hear when it’s busy. Staff is friendly. Menu has vegan and gluten free options.
Good experience, pricey but good.
Thanks to staff member Leah for letting us use some of her sunscreen when we were on the patio - she really went above and beyond! Thanks!!
Terrible service where the waiter didn’t come and check on us at all. Order a drink and would take over 30 minuets to get it. The appetizer and main course arrived within 5 minutes of each other. Defiantly not worth it.
It was great. I will be back!
I was told about Anejo from a friend. So wanting to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with friends I booked a table for 3. The margaritas were delicious, we tried many of them. I will be back!!
11/10! Highly recommend! Thoroughly impressed with everything, food, drinks, service and atmosphere.
Anejo always has great food but always has poor service.
So I went there for my birthday and our party was of 5 in total. I found that the food was good and the server was nice but overall felt a bit disappointed with the evening. We had to wait an exceptionally long time for everything. The server apologized 4 times at the lateness of the meal, but continued to forget items we asked for, to the point of us having to ask multiple times for utensils, drinks, sides. We provided a cake and others in the party ordered coffee, to which it was never brought. And when he noticed we had already finished the cake and wanted to leave. The reservation was for 7pm and we weren't able to leave until 10pm due to everything taking longer then anticipated. I am not one who doesn't understand if the place is busy, the kitchen seems backed up, or the server seems overwhelmed. But the restaurant was steady but not packed, and several diners around us- arrived after and completed their meal before we received our food. (We ordered tacos, 3 salads, and one chicken dinner) So while I enjoyed the food and again understand that the server seemed apologetic, I felt like the effort put forth wasn't how I would treat my customer. After the first couple of hiccups, I think I would have tried harder. It felt like no one cared.
Very good, quiet on a Monday. Attentive, helpful server. Tastey items.
We had a great time! Service was excellent, food was tasty, drinks were yummy! Arrived in time for Happy Hour so had a round of drinks & half price tacos for appies. Will go back again for sure!
From the minute we entered the restaurant I felt as though we were being hurried out. I had set a reservation and when we arrived the restaurant was pretty quite yet we were sat right beside the main entrance and told we had an hour and 45 mins to finish up at the table till the next reservation arrived. Our server came to the table and just looked/seemed like her was hating his life. He only spoke the bare minimum he had to, to us he and would just slap the plates on and off our table with out asking anything. But to other tables it looked like he was more interested and helpful with them. The EXPENSIVE margaritas arrived at our table and for the price we paid were made poorly. The food was the only thing that saved this dinning experience the guacamole was awesome and the tacos were great. I would never go back to this restaurant. I’ll go to blanco next time.
A great experience with the salsa made at the table! Loved the margaritas too!
Overall the experience was really good, I was a little disappointed because my meal came with a chunk of rubber in it which wasn’t that appetizing. My meal was remade but I just felt like no one was apologetic. When I told the server, he was surprised but no apology was made, and I understand it wasn’t his fault, but your servers are the face of your business and it just seemed like no one really cared that much.
Try the Tacquitos they are BOMB! Tacos were surprisingly underwhelming. Fresh made Guac was delicious too!
Awesome food. Service was super slow! Best guacamole!!
The place was hoping!! I recommend a reservation on weekends. It’s very very noisy but sold out.. can’t expect anything different!! Food is delicious and service .. perfect!!
Well received at the door,, modified seating with no fuss, wonderful attendance,, excellent and creative cuisine, great evening.
Had fish and veggies tacos. Nothing special.
Margaritas (blood orange and mango) ...both were great.
Service was average. Nothing bad or great to say about the experience.
