We really enjoyed eating at Annona. Unfortunately, the Park Hyatt is closing at the end of Nov 2017 for a complete 2-3 year renovation. Hope Annona returns.

I'm surprised this afternoon tea service keeps making the list of Toronto's best. The only redeeming thing was the service. The food was not fresh. The bread for the finger sandwiches had formed a crust on top from sitting out for too long. The scones were on the dry side. Desserts were almost all too sweet and lacking in refinement. The item with the maraschino cherry was vile.

Best service I have ever had in a restaurant in over 40 years. The staff is amazing. nothing is to much to ask for. Food is also great, quality high, good range of options and opportunity create your own unique meal by picking from options.

We went here for the Thankgsgiving day brunch set menu. The food was delicious and it was a great value 3-course meal. The only let down is the service. It took us 20 minutes until our server came and take our order. Throughout the dining experience, the server was not attentive to check on us, which is expected for a high-end restaurant. But overall, the place is cozy and the ambience is very nice.

I've never been to Annona so I thought I would give it a try. My girlfriends have been here for high tea and warned me that the food was not the best, but I thought I'd still give it a try for dinner. Boy, was I wrong. The service was okay, I'd say at most acceptable. However, the food was a disaster. First of all, the food took a while to come out, which wasn't that big of a deal since we weren't in a rush. We ordered a bunch of apps to share and each of us got our own main course. My friends and I couldn't even finish a single plate of food because of how bad everything tasted. I'm not even going to go through all the items because all of them were terrible -- even something as simple as sweet potato fries didn't even taste like sweet potato at all (it tasted like a fried batter). When the server came to clear the table, he thought we were just trying to watch our weight, but in fact it was just hard for us to break it to him that everything tasted horrible. In the end we asked for separate bills and since it was my birthday, my friends decided to pay for my portion of the whole meal as well. There were 6 of us, we got 6 bills to make it easier for the server so he doesn't have to separate my portion onto other bills. After all of us paid, we left thinking "the food was bad and the service was just 'meh'". Once again, boy, was I wrong. About 10 mins after we left the restaurant, I got a call from the F&B manager of Park Hyatt, ACCUSING us of not paying the whole bill? My friends and I were super confused as we all either paid in cash or card. After analyzing the situation, we realized that he had probably misplaced some of the cash. One of my friends paid in cash and specifically said she doesn't need change, the server came back and dropped off her bill on the table after taking out the cash. Over the phone he said that bill was not paid for, and after I reminded him of the "no change" conversation, he started stuttering and said he'll take care of it.

I went to this restaurant because it was advertised on Open Table as having outdoor, patio seating; but it does not. That was a real disappointment.

After having a truly wonderful experience with the high tea service we had to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday, we were curious to see how their dinner service was... and let me say we were not disappointed at all! The service was attentive without being over-solicitous. Every dish we ordered scored top marks in both presentation and taste - we all decided to order the filet mignon and it was by far, one of the best steaks I have ever had in my entire life. The meat was succulent, juicy and more tender than you could dream of. We capped off our evening with lattes (couldn't manage dessert so the waiter was thoughtful enough to bring a small plate with some dark and white chocolate - just as a small treat). The ambience was relaxing and we were allowed to sit and enjoy conversation without being hounded with an expectation to pay and leave - we wound up having to ask for the check! We understand that the hotel will be closing in November for major renovations - please keep Annona the same as we will be back once you reopen!

our server behaved very rudely; we were settling in when he grabbed napkins and put it on our laps; it was so sudden and disrespectful; he made us feel unwelcomed or thought we are ill-mannered or whatever the reason is; after that me and husband did not enjoyed our evening to the fullest bt overall teas were excellent and those scones were to die for and really loved that little gesture of happy anniversary written on white chocolate.

I found the food to be somewhat indifferent. I had the beef shortrib which as almost completely fat. Having said that, the service was excellent. The staff was very accommodating with dietary rquirements and gave us separate bills which was very much appreciated

We came for Summerlicious, the food was great, we enjoyed all 3 courses! The only negative, we felt rushed. They gave us very little time between courses, dessert was served only minutes after our dinner plates were cleared and we would have liked a little time for our food to digest. It wasn't crazy busy so we weren't sure why it was so fast. A 3 course dinner and we were there only a little over an hour.

I brought my mother here to have her first Summerlicious lunch since I had been here for it last year, and it was a pleasant experience. We had made reservations for 1pm, but the restaurant was full from other hotel guests in addition to the Summerlicious crowd. The hostess apologized and immediately helped to clear and set up the next available table for us - this was essentially the highlight of meal. Once seated, a waiter literally slid our water glasses across the table to us. After our waiter poured water, another couple sat down at the table beside us. Our waiter took our order as well as the couple beside us at the same time. This wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that we got our food after they did, and the servers had to ask which order belonged to whom every time. The couple beside us were served their entrees while we were served our appetizers. I had also ordered a coffee at the beginning of the meal, which had obviously been forgotten when I asked the waiter about it again. Our waiter only came by to ask about our meal once and never even came by again to fill up our water. All of our courses were served without a peep from the servers to even tell us which dish was which. The couple beside us had finished their meal by the time we got our desserts. Which at this time, our waiter slapped the bill onto our table as well. From beginning to end, this meal was a disappointing and unpleasant experience. In addition to the service, the food quality has also significantly declined compared to last year. None of the courses were extravagant or anything special. I have been to several other restaurants for both Summerlicious and Winterlicious, and have to conclude that this was by far the worst experience of them all. Overall for a $28 lunch, there are much better options that can provide service and/or better food. It is especially upsetting as I was hoping for a nice lunch for my mother's first Summerlicious experience.

Ambience in Annona is very good, quiet and a total fine dinning venue. Great menu selection, ingredients were very fresh and the food was perfectly cooked. Service was so far great but there were some areas to be improved, such as efficiency and attentiveness.

We had the summerlicious 3 course meal. We began we a crabcake, Chilean sea bass and then refreshing pear/strawberry sorbet. Food was prepared well and very tasty. The presentation was appetizing and portion for lunch was perfect. Enjoy

Wonderful staff who were able to accommodate our party of 7 on short notice - 5 for the afternoon tea and 2 for the Summerlicious lunch menu. Service was warm, friendly and thoughtful. I would recommend it as a place to go for afternoon tea for the ambience, service and scones (pastries were a bit too sweet for me but the others liked them).

We were looking forward Park Hyatt Hotel' summerlisious dinner. It was a luxury hotel's dining, but all of this restaurant's staff was friendly . All dishes were wonderful and artistic design , these were not only nice looking but also delicious taste. The atmosphere was so nice ,we enjoyed the dinner & a long talk with friends. I though the music volume was little big . Thank you!

Chose it under the Summerlicious list. Very enjoyable experience. The service was excellent, and the food beautiful to look at and to eat! I asked for the steak medium-rare, but more to the rare side, and this was repeated by the server when I was brought my meal. Very impressed with that.

Had a friend date for Summerlicious and ate the crab cakes, lamb (my favourite) and the mango tart. Tables also came with house olive and feta bread and some crispy flat bread, with good quality olive oil and a olive tapenade. Our waiter was also very polite and friendly. Nice location, yummy food, great service - can't really complain. Will be back!

We had a lovely dinner at Annona. The location is great. If you get a window seat you can people watch in Yorkville. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The drinks were strong.
