Truly one of our top favorites. Always a wonderful experience all the way around. Outstanding flavors and fresh to table. Chef Nick is truly one of the best ever. Salmon and halibut tonight were an amazing mix of freshness and flavors. Nice quiet southern atmosphere and hospitality. Service it great. Soups are a must, (sweet carrot with ginger is the best ever), all of the entree’s are fabulous and if you like chocolate, don’t miss the chocolate bread pudding.
As always, Antebellum shines above all others North of Atlanta. Every dish on the menu is unbelievable, fresh, and delicious.
We usually expect nothing but the best from Antebellum but for some reason this time the shrimp in the shrimp and grits were salty. It appeared that it was nothing to do with the chef but that they were using a new kind of shrimp? They did not charge us for the meal. First time we ever had an issue.
Hands down the best meal in Atlanta. The balance of flavor, acidity and presentation truly show the chefs skill.
The service is outstanding, Christi has waited on us both visits and makes you feel welcome and is there when you need her.
Outstanding as usual
Only downside is when it is busy it is really difficult to talk and hear people.
Great food, service and atmosphere
Very accommodating as our party grew from 5 to 10 at the last minute
Halibut, salmon and shrimp and grits were delicious can not go wrong with any selection
This was our fourth or fifth times in antebellum and I have to tell you every single time including this one was exceptional, I love this place
All the food was so fresh and delicious. I've already told a few co-workers about our amazing dinner experience.
Wonderful restaurant with amazing food and atmospheres. Absolutely the best service too!
We went as a nice dinner out after camping for the weekend. Decided after playing in rain and bug spray, dressing up would be a treat we deserved! This place hit the spot. The night we went they had Sweet Corn Soup as well, which I ordered. It was very tasty but the Fried Green Tomatoes stole the appetizer show! Hands down, best Fried Green Tomatoes. Server even gave instructions to break egg first so Tomatoes can absorb it. GET THIS.
For dinner we ordered the Salmon and Filet Mignon. The night we were there the Flat Iron could be substituted with Fliet. The filet was beautifully cooked. We asked for medium rare and received more medium but at the end of the day, not a big deal. Still melted in the mouth and flavorful. The Salmon was cooked perfectly but the crispy cheddar grit cake stole the plate. We didn’t expect such a crispy, yet mashed, like texture. Just phenomenal! The salmon won the entree of the evening. For dessert we had only one which we shared, Mike’s favorite Chocolate Bread Pudding. I hate bread pudding. Something about the consistency just doesn’t appeal to me. Add chocolate and I’m even less interested. I ate half! It just melted in your mouth but be aware, it is rich.
I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because it’s a beautiful southern plantation home that’s been converted. The inside was comparatively bland to the outside but let’s be honest. No one comes for the table and chairs!!! Go for the food. Go for the service ( Brianna? Was incredibly knowledgeable and cheerful). Bring your wallet, after all, meals aren’t being handed out here. I was surprised a little by the final bill but I’d still go again without hesitation. Highly recommend especially if a special occasion and highly recommend reservations. This place is not a secret!
We've been several times and it never disappoints. The quality of the food, the presentation, the service -- all great.
My friend recommended Antebellum’s a few years ago. I took my wife on our anniversary and had a wonderful dinner. This past Thursday I took my wife back for her 57th birthday and again another wonderful dinner. The staff and the chef is outstanding. They are tightly connected into OpenTable which make it easy to select your reservation time and add comments like, celebrating a birthday and would like a quite table. And BAM! That’s it... We love Antebellum’s, no need to drive 40+ miles one way into the ATL for fine dining!
We went here for our anniversary dinner, the service and the food were absolutely amazing!! Would definitely recommend to friends/family.
A friend recommended this restaurant a couple years ago and it quickly became one of our favorites. We love the seasonal menu, ambiance and especially the attentive and personable servers. This visit didn't disappoint. Thanks to Christy L. for her friendly service and to Antebellum for their great food!
My favorite restaurant!!
Our food was excellent and served in a most efficient, unobtrusive manner. Our entrees were the salmon and flat iron steak, both delicious. The butter lettuce salad with buttermilk dressing was subtle yet very flavorful.
Our only complaint was that we were seated at the worst table in the house, with one of us forced to stare at a wall, while there were other open tables that never filled up during our visit.
Excellent food and service. Could use a little more variety on the menu.
Food and service were excellent. Christy L. did an awesome job at being attentive without being overbearing.
Every serving of our meal was surprising. The different elements of each plate offered unique flavors that worked well together, creating a unique experience with each bite. The pimiento cheese bread set the tone for the whole dining experience, the steak that followed was the best I have ever had. Our server was delightful and fun.
Great restaurant, never disappoints! Creative and outstanding food, excellent service, nice venue.
A hidden gem in Flowery Branch! Chef Nick uses fresh local ingredients and his food pairing is on point. The Blueberry Martini were amazing!!! I highly recommend getting the Salmon which is a stable on their menu. It's super delicious. We had a wonderful dining experience and definitely be visiting more often.
Great food and excellent service. Make sure to make reservations on weekends but during the week it is more quiet.
Good.... Always Great! The only thing I would say is it was loud. Some ladies at another table were having a Martini Dinner. But that is rare. They could do something to damper the noise.
Fantastic food and service!
Always a great restaurant to celebrate our Anniversary, food , service , ambiance all get an A+.
Antebellum continues to be world class in all aspects. It’s no wonder it’s my favorite restaurant anywhere.
Excellent service, food quality, ambiance, thoughtful attention to detail. My only request would be to put more vegetarian options on the menu that are more thoughtful and creative than simply taking the meat out of an entree that is already on the menu. Hmmm.
The atmosphere, service, cocktails and entire meal including desserts were awesome! We will surely be back. Loved dining at Antebellum!
We look forward to our nights out and Antebellum has never disappointed. Wonderful all the way around, as always!!
First visit. Excellent service and food. Will definitely be back.
Hidden gem in North Georgia. We have been eating here since our first anniversary dinner in 2016 and have never been disappointed. The service and the quality of food is world class. My favorite is the scallops and salmon, but this time I tried the new dish which was the Halibut which was also amazing!!! Plus they make the best cocktails!
Such a friendly environment. Great food!
Need a few more choices for entrees and some that aren’t so rich
The food is great. The environment is inviting. Well worth the drive from Atlanta.
Awesome place and great service and food was unreal ... highly recommend this if you have a special occasion!
Great as usual.
Antebellum is the quintessential chef driven southern restaurant. Great service and fantastic food.
Can’t wait to go back.
Always wonderful. Always feels like you are eating with family
Always consistent and wonderful! We love to bring our friends here. Thanks
Fantastic restaurant. We were looking for something different that we couldn’t cook at home and this place was perfect. I highly recommend it.
