Everything delicious , great service
Was v good
The service and the food was good. We were very pleased.
It's our Go-to restaurant for our office Team...always great food and service... never disappointed!
Perfect, setting meal service, nice luncheon experience
Great food, but tables are crammed so close together it gets claustrophobic. On the noisy side.
The noise is awful and the tables are very uncomfortable.
Not enough choices on the menu.
We had a 5PM reservation and had to wait for a table. There is really no place to wait in the restaurant.
I really like the food here which is why I chose to come here for a birthday celebration. I came in December for my best friends birthday and they didn’t pay attention to the birthday note so we did not get the complimentary dessert. I ordered a dessert and the waitress then noticed we were celebrating and ended up getting a candle for us and took the dessert off the bill. I decide to dine in again and This reservation was for MY birthday and yet again I made a note we were celebrating a birthday AND my friend told the hostess. NO bday dessert was brought out so we ordered dessert and I wound up telling the server it was my bday, that I noted that on the reservation and explained that my friend told the hostess. He ended up taking off one of our desserts but I will never dine here again for a special occasion.
Food was fabulous! Pasta ala vodka sauce and the scallops on angel hair pasta are top favorites. Had to leave room for dessert and we were rewarded with excellent choices in the Pistacchio gelato.
A lovely place with a nicely balanced menu. We walked in at 6:30 on a Saturday night and they appeared to be at full capacity. My only mild complaint is that the tables are very close together, so we were more privy to the first date going on right next to us than perhaps we needed to be. The food was excellent, however, and wine is available in both 3- and 6-oz pours so wine drinkers are free to experiment with smaller servings of different wines.
Normally we love our experience here. The food is usually on point, however at this visit things were just off. Our server attempted to correct the issues, however I gave up after my returned food came back to the table still subpar. I am going to chalk it up to a bad day given how many wonderful meals we have had here in the past.
First time there and would go back. Food and service were great.
I am in the Oak Brook area at least one per month and make it a point to eat at Antico Posto at least once each time I am in town. The food is always good, and the service team is always first rate. The bar staff is very friendly... so much so that I feel like a local every time I'm there (as opposed to a visitor from 1700 miles away).
Good as usual
As usual, after many visits we still return for great food and service. Waiter was terrific. New items on menu were delicious.
Noticed for first time however, that 70s music was playing quite loudly in room 5-8:00 with no break throughout entire stay. Prefer a mix and not so loud.
Best place for Italian food!! If you haven’t been here yet you are missing out.
Everything was awesome except the host. Male/white mid 20s. With his attitude he should probably not be in hospitality.
Great service as usual. Delicious dinner. One of our favorite restaurants!
This place rocks we've been here several times and each time is better than the last, great service, great food, good location, all around great restaurant. This trip I had sausage and pepper risotto and it was outstanding, my date has Italian pot roast over a bed of creamy polenta with roasted vegetables also outstanding. Next visit will be this Wednesday for the daily special Sirloin Braciola can't wait.
Great place for Italian!!! Wonderful atmosphere and exceptional food and service!!! 5*
We usually enjoy this restaurant but our experience left us frustrated. After a 10 minute wait we were seated. The restaurant was busy so we didn't mind waiting for a table to leave. Our waiter Traci proceeded to rush us through our entire dinner. She could not get rid of us fast enough. I heard her explain in detail the specials to the three gentlemen behind us and with us she threw us the special card and walked away. We happened to see friends at the restaurant who had arrived before us and were still there when we left because she served us an appetizer and our meals in 25 minutes. She did not even offer us dessert just dropped the bill on the table. We will rethink coming here again. The food was decent but nothing to compensate for the service.
A holiday get together with friends. Everything was great!
Truffle polenta “fries” are fantastic. Keep them on the menu!
I was disappointed at this venue this time. It was my friend's first time at the restaurant.
Her portion of salmon was the smallest I've seen served at the venue. She requested the daily special (pasta and meatballs) for carryout. The server returned to advise her that they were out of it. I guess I don't understand how an Italian restaurant can be out of pasta/meatballs. We were told that there was a large lunch crowd and large crowd after lunch.
I guess that would put a hole in the restaurant's food supply but they would of had to look at their dinner reservations and act accordingly.
I've been to the venue many many times and have never had such a problem. I felt bad for the friend I was with. I raved about the restaurant and then to have this happen - wasn't a good feeling. This is also the first time I've ever written a negative review. Thanks.
The food is great, and waitstaff are friendly and knowledgeable. The only thing is the noise level in the evening. If you are at one of the small tables for two, it can be a bit tight. No quiet conversations in this restaurant. But I frequent it so much because of the quality of everything else. It’s a gem, don’t miss it. The soup, my friends, is hot! No lukewarm soup here which is Fabulous!
Best meal we've had in a long time. The grilled calamari were the most tender I've ever had.
The blend of all the flavors were spot-on.
Felt like price was little on high side but great food
Great place to eat always. Great service also!
6 different people and all were very pleased. I liked the “no fuss” approach to excellent food.
Food was amazing! Our waitress was pretty good as well. The only thing that made me a little annoyed was that we had a reservation for 8:15 and weren’t seated until 8:45, I feel like sometimes restaurants see a young couple and judge. A bunch of people were continuously getting seated before us. A reservation there felt like a strong suggestion rather than a set time. Overall, really great food and very quick.
Great atmosphere and attentive service. Would recommend to friends.
Excellent food, incredible service and great atmosphere!!
As always good authentic Italian food. Nice wine list. Service was great!
Great service, was a wedding dress shopping day and it was special.
Great food. Nice location. Love this place every time I go!
Always great food.
Nice wine by the glass as well as the bottle.
Our server was the best!
This is usually one of our very favorite restaurants, but Friday was very disappointing. Our waiter wasn't great, the timing of the service was erratic, although he may have been overwhelmed because we rarely saw him and the food was delivered by someone else. We were seated for almost 20 minutes when he first came to take our drink orders.
I ordered the Special, which was Seared Sea Scallops on a bed of Black Squid Ink Spaghetti. It sounded wonderful, and it was very tasty, but it only came with TWO Sea Scallops. Yes, just TWO! For $23 I expected more than two scallops and spaghetti. I would have said something, but we were with friends and my husband had to send back his filet because it was closer to Med-Well than Med-Rare. I'm chalking it up to an off night for the place since we are usually very happy with everything.
Wonderful menu! Staff are friendly and accommodating. Love this restaurant
