    Unsere quietscht Fidel Bedienung aus dem schönen Thailand  hat uns einen wunderschönen Vormittag bereitet. Selbstverständlich ist das Essen immer ausgezeichnet! Ganz klar muss man dort die grüne Soße hervorheben! Christina hat mit ihrer Zuvorkommenheit und Gastfreundlichkeit unsere Erwartung mehr als erfüllt! Gerne kommen wir wieder und freuen uns auf Christina! Die beste Bedienung ever!

    Wagner has been a tradition in Frankfurt for many years and it is still a very good place to go for traditional local food. The location is very central, the service is used to dealing also with larger group. As for the food I recommend the Grüne Soße, it is delicious.

    Der Service war überragend. An unserem Tisch im Hof konnte man den Spätsommer wunderbar genießen und saß auch bei Regenschauern im Trockenen. Im Laufe des Abends wurde der Lautstärkepegel - wie üblich in jener Apfelwein-Wirtschaft - recht hoch. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend.

    As a native Frankfurter we occassionally go there since it is more a tourist spot. Food quality has decreased, noise level has increased, Service was ok. A typical Äppelwoi place. One meal was missing and came when all other were done. If visiting Frankfurt I guess a must see spot, for real Frankfurters: we have other places to go for Äppelwoi.

    Der Kellner war sehr freundlich. Wir beanstandeten das Essen. Daraufhin kam der „Chef“ und teilte uns ineinander sehr unfreundlichen Ton mit, dass er und kompetente Mitarbeiter es geprüft hätten. Es ginge mit dem Metzgermesser zu schneiden und das Fleisch sei nicht trocken. Der würde es von der Rechnung nehmen und den Rest verstanden wir nicht. Bei Nachfrage beim Kellner sagte uns dieser, dass der Chef gesagt hätte, dass wir nichts mehr bekommen würden. Unfassbar aber wahr. Das Kartenlesegerät ging dann auch nicht. Im nachfolgenden Lokal funktionierte die Karte ohne Probleme. Als alter Frankfurter kann ich es nicht fassen, wie wir behandelt wurden.

    Wagners ist seit Jahrzehnten ein Garant für erstklassige Familien und Geburtstagsfeiern. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne zu gutem Essen und urigen Bembeln, gefüllt mit leckerem Apfelwein zusammen. Die Kellner haben immer ein offenes Ohr und einen lockeren Spruch auf den Lippen. Ein Bravo ans ganze Team und Grüße aus Hannover!!

Schade um die Unhöflichkeit der blonden Kellnerin, die uns beschimpfte, weil wir uns erlaubten, die Rechnung direkt an der Kasse per Kreditkarte zu bezahlen Das Restaurant sollte besser auf die Freundlickeit seiner Mitarbeiter aufpassen.     Wir hatten einen Platz im Lokal gebucht. Im Raum befand sich eine Gruppe Chinesen (ca. 15 Personen). Die Lautstärke dieser Gruppe war fast unerträglich. Die Servicekräfte als auch wir selbst haben immer mal wieder um ein bisschen mehr Ruhe gebeten - leider völlig ohne Erfolg. Nach dem Essen sind wir daher sofort wieder gegangen. Schade gerne hätten wir noch ein wenig verweilt und den ein oder anderen Äppler zu uns genommen. Eine Weiterempfehlung würde ich daher nicht aussprechen.

    Very nice place if you want to enjoy typical Frankfurt food and show your visitors around. Not fancy but very typical, the food is good, service is friendly. I would go again
