    Service was so nice and attentive. A quiet night in the restaurant, with many outside events going on in the hotel. We had a toddler with us, and he was well-attended! Food was delicious! Thank you to all our servers. We enjoyed our meal and time together.

    Friendly and competent wait staff coupled with two very energetic chefs made for a pleasant meal. Straightforward menu allowed for half portions - greatly appreciated by this reviewer. An outstanding value for a very reasonable price.

    The food was definitely not worth the price. We went for the Thanksgiving dinner buffet. The food tasted as if the chefs didn’t want to be there. Food must be cooked with love. Won’t be dining there again.

    The food was very good. They had fresh shrimp, fresh oysters & blue claws as appetizers along with other foods. There was an abundance of excellent food available along with different deserts. You were offered a glass of champagne or Mimosa included in the price. The service was attentive. It was a very nice Thanksgiving dinner.

    A great experience. So many food choices and so delicious. Our waitress, Adrienne, was exceptional. We sat at a table me with a view of the Savannah River; we saw the big ships coming down the river.

    Thanksgiving Brunch at the Aqua Star was fantastic! There was a huge variety of food - breakfast items, delicious cold seafood display, carved meats, fantastic desserts etc. It was pricey but it was definitely worth it.

    The restaurant is/was severing understaffed for the amount of people trying to be served. There was 1 server and 1 runner for the entire restaurant and what made it even worse was the hotel was hosting a large convention. The food, for the most part (wouldn't recommend the pasta), is good but had reservations and had to wait 25 minutes to be seated and then service was slow. The Westin appears to be going on the "cheap" side when it comes to have proper staff to support the amount of guests. Truly sad, as we have been coming to this hotel and Savannah for years. Westin has spent a lot of money renovating portions of the hotel, but when it comes to actual customer/guest support that have missed it completely!

    We keep going back here because we love the location, ambience, view of the river and the shrimp and grits. However, and unfortunately, every dish that we have tried, other than the shrimp and grits, is poorly prepared. It’s a small menu, but could be sufficient, if each of the dishes were well prepared. The grilled chicken sandwich was tough as leather on each of the last three visits. Seems like I would have learned by now not to order that chicken but I keep hoping that each time was just an error. Apparently the cook does not know how to properly grill a piece of chicken. I suggested to the kitchen that they invest in a sous vide machine, like so many other good restaurants utilize.
