First time eating here for my Aunt's birthday. Food was great but the best part was the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure my Aunt felt special on her birthday. It had a very positive vibe and everyone was friendly. Special thanks to our server Emilee, she was nothing but amazing!!! Thank youu😊
Staff are courteous. Food is divine. Our server Alcina is a gem. I'll have her every day of the week!!! We had a business lunch, 5 of us, and shared the daily special: 2 plates of Dungeness crab risotto for the table. It was probably the best I have had!!! I will 100% be back. Always ask for Alcina for lots of love and laughs.
Amazing food, amazing location, amazing staff, it’s just AMAZING!
Excellent service and also server Jennifer was spot on with her recommendations as well as service. Food was cooked perfectly.
Beautiful Easter brunch. The service was outstanding. They even remember that we were celebrating a birthday and got us a gluten free vegan cake since I mentioned that I'm celiac. Everything was amazing. The only thing is that $55 per person is a little pricey.
We found Easter brunch was better last year. There was more variety of food. Service was excellent although we didn’t like the 15% gratuity added to the bill. There was just the two of us. I normally tip higher when the service is good but did not because they automatically added the 15%.
We’ve been doing this brunch for years but will likely go elsewhere next year.
I would definitely eat here again. It’s not 5 stars though. Had a very good cheeseburger, a good salad and a pretty good bowl of crab chowder. The burger was probably the best of the 3, but at $20 for a cheeseburger, it should have been the best burger I’ve ever had. It was good, but not the best. $12 would have been a fair price.
Service was very good,(Phillip), and the restaurant was clean and well maintained.
Stunning view, great food, service and music! A business colleague and I enjoyed a delicious dinner on a beautiful clear, super moon night. The floor to ceiling windows looking at the waterfront made for a great viewpoint. The food was delicious and artfully presented. I enjoyed crab cakes (lots of lump meat) and my colleague the wild salmon. We ordered the house bread (molasses bread) to start and it was decadently warm right out of the oven with herbed whipped butter. Yumm! Bonus - there was a solo singer/songwriter performing that added to the relaxed and enjoyable ambiance. All made for a nice dining experience.
Have been coming her for years at the time of the Pacific Dental Conference and continue to patronize the place. Good food and service consistently.
We were entertaining clients after seeing Barack Obama. We arrived at 620pm and ordered right away. By 8pm we still didn’t have our food. They did end up comping our drinks but it should never happen in a place like this. It was embarrassing as our clients really needed to get going.
Great dinner, food was well presented and good value! Our server Julie was delightful, engaging and cheerful! The whole dining experience was 1st Class!
Great service. Delicious meal. Fantastic environment. Bit pricy side but worth it!
The platings are perfect, the window side view is super recommended as it would face the Harbour view with the Canada Place and the Conventional Center.
Side bread was also great that I have never tasted such rich bread before. Super recommended during the meal.
My Hosetess Emilee gave me the greatest service ever!!
The server was charming! Over $50 for two small soups & two cafe lattes seems a bit steep. The soup was good and the bread rolls excellent. My associate had a bit of a view and the tables are a discrete distance apart which was worth something to me.
I went dine out Vancouver. Really good food and service. My husband, my 2yo boy and myself really enjoy the night! Excellent dine out experience!
Even with the reservations we had, we still had to wait for 20 minutes to be sat. The hosts were apologetic. Food was very disappointing maybe because we did the dine out menu. We expected more because of the price point. The cured salmon had still the skin on, which made the taste really fishy and less appealing. Red snapper was a little salty for my liking. The duck confit could have been braised more. The only thing that we enjoyed was the dessert and live music.
Out of the many high-end downtown restaurants, this place has got one of the friendliest staff you can find. They make everyone feel welcomed, and they take time to get to know you, and their intentions seem genuine. Our server was very observant as well and really personalized her service to us. We never once felt rushed in our meal, and overall it was an impressive experience for Dineout. Service aside, the food was absolutely amazing and creative. Most other high-end restaurants serve Dineout like it’s a chore, but this one really blew us away. We will definitely come back.
Our waiter was excellent - just the right amount of attention and privacy - super good touch.
Very knowledgeable and clear communicator. He was just outstanding. Food was stellar but a bit pricey ($140 for lunch for 3 people - only one adult beverage then add $40 to valet the car) - Seems a bit rich for what was received
That said really enjoyed myself and would likely go back
Like the surround sound system with mix music & view to Coal Harbour, caring services with enjoyable food & night out
dineout meal but not like iknow. need pay more than dineout menu
Overall good experience except for the fact the french toast i wanted coming into the restaurant had some small bugs on the fruits. Oh wells.. haha they didnt charge me for my food and coffee
As a 5 star hotel restaurant, it was the worst dineout experience I had. We've been waiting for an hour after we finished appertizer. We did asked the lady who took the food out, what she said was everybody is waiting, this is a restaurant! Our waiter did apologize for the delay and gave us a complimentary glass of wine. Food was extremely salty but we didn't want them to redo since we've been waiting for a long time. Duck confit was extremely dry and tasteless!
It was our anniversary and the restaurant really made it special. Fabulous service, amazing food, and we're so appreciative of how well they accommodate celiac disease!
Love coming here for lunch. The restaurant has big windows with a great view of the harbour.
Their menu is delicious although their menu is a little pricey for what you are getting.
The service wasn't anything special.
A very good evening overall. Server maintained the right balance between attentiveness and overkill. Food was well balanced and the wine excellent.
New Year’s Eve
We stayed at the hotel and decided to try the restaurant due to the convenience and we were not disappointe
The service is great and soup tastes so delicious .
If you go to ARC you must get the ARC board! It never disappoints. At $50 pp it is expensive, but always just fantastic and is a very large quantity of food so no appetizers needed.
There seems to always be live music. The service is very high quality. There is a little bit of a view but it is somewhat obstructed by the bright billboards of Canada Place, which is my one complaint about the otherwise relaxing ambiance inside ARC.
Our waitress was so friendly and had great recomondations for food choices. Everything excellent!
I've never been disappointed in visiting The Arc and this birthday/Christmas celebration was absolutely delightful. The service was wonderful with a waiter who was friendly, thoughtful and efficient. The food was delicious and the festive atmosphere of the hotel perfect. I'm always happy to recommend The Arc and look forward to returning myself.
Huge portions and tasty. Linguini had biggest prawns I have ever seen.
Ancina is wonderful! Always a pleasure
Food portions were small. Not quite worth the money if I did not have a coupon. A group of lousy guests having their Christmas party were laughing and screaming after get a bit drunk. Their noise overshadowed the live guitar music.
We were here to celebrate a milestone in our project and had a great time. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and had some great drink recommendation for us. The food was delicious, and well-portioned. The ambience was classy but not overly formal or pretentious. We enjoyed ourselves very much.
We were disappointed. I would not recommend coming to the Arv. The service was inattentive, the menu limited and excessively pricey. There are so many options in this beautiful city that I would never return here.
We all really enjoyed our meals and our waitress was very lovely. Thanks!! We’ll be back...
Exceptional food, service, and location. The menu is changed regularly, though popular mainstays have anchored it year over year. The daily specials, particularly lunch, are creative and quite good. I have dined at Arc (and its predecessor, Heron’s) over forty times - consistently excellent.
Our experience at ARC was exceptional. The meal was definitely among the best we've been able to enjoy. The flavours, presentation and ingredients were just amazing. The ARC Board is a great meal to share and serves two people wonderfully. The big highlight was the elk tartarre which was superb! Dessert was also perfect and decadent. Loved every bite of every dish. Also of note was our fantastic server who was very friendly, great to chat with and really made our experience all the more enjoyable. She had a great sense of humour and helped us a great deal with our selections. Overall a top-notch experience and can't wait to go back someday.
Thanks ARC! Service and food is amazing. The best restoran in Vancouver
