our waitress Alcina was lovely, all you can eat brunch was awesome, would recommend
Amazing service, nicest staff ever! Pricey, but great food :)
Bottomless brunch review:
Food variety and quality were great, although not so much for vegetarians. Some dishes were big enough to share while the others were served for just one person.
While waiting for the bill the server said to my sister “it’s been an hour and a half” expecting us to leave. The bill had not arrived yet.... what a way to finish a meal.
Alaina our host for the brunch period was very friendly and approachable. She was very fast on her feet and made us feel welcomed. I would love to go there again just to have her be our host again.
Amazing bottomless small plates at their Arc After Dark and amazing bottomless brunch on weekends! Loved our stay at the hotel but you don’t have to be a guest to dine there!
We went to ARC for their after dark dinner menu. At first we thought we would just order one of everything and get seconds of our faves but man. We were so full by dish 12 (out of 14) that we couldn’t even get to them all!! The portions are larger than tapas/bite sized dishes and great for sharing. Awesome variety and yummy flavours. Such a worth it experience!
Server was AMAZING really appreciate his kindness
Went for their brunch, found a couple hairs in the food/ mug. Our server was amazing super friendly but in my opinion I don’t think it’s worth it to spend $40 cause I prefer quality over quantity and the food just wasn’t it.
At almost every dish one member of our party would insist on tempting others to share the taste experience.
Tables were a good distance apart (COVID precautions). Food was really good for ARC after dark! Favourites: duck spatzle, mussels pasta, brussel sprouts. Great tunes from the DJ, too! Can't wait to come back for their brunch :)
Food was far below average. Would not recommend!
Had a wonderful experience, especially with our server Karen, she was wonderful ! Definitely will be back again!
I booked a table at Arc for a surprise birthday dinner for my partner. I can’t recommend this place enough and have referred all of my family and friends. I would just like to mention that our hostess Katie or Kate (I think her name badge was Kate) did such an exceptional job and is truly an asset to Arc. She made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond for my partners’ birthday. Thank you so much, our experience will stay with us for a very long time :)
The music was very load, it was more like a night club atmosphere
Our service was amazing. Food was good, didn’t realize they had taken the steak and onion rings off the menu.
everything was great! cant wait to try your all you can eat dinner menu!
Our server was amazing and on the ball checking in on us but not overbearing. The food was great tasting although the jerk chicken is not jerk chicken.
Will def be back and check out the evening services.
Food and service were good for brunch (highly recommend the pork cheek), but we took away 1 star because we were asked to leave earlier than expected. It wasn't indicated during booking nor when we were seated that the table has to be returned within 2 hours, we assumed that we could stay until the end of the bottomless brunch session (2pm)
food was okay. definitely
not worth the price of $39 in my opinion. a lot of the dishes were quite salty and the only
food that was served hot was the ooey gooey skillet. the rest was warm, close
to cool
Excellent decor
the food came with some delays but was delicious
The ambience is absolutely beautiful the service is great but the value and price are not to pare.
Service was excellent and the food was great!
The New Year's Eve dinner and wine paring was fabulous!
Short staffed and food wasn’t worth the price.
Gordon was our server - absolutely amazing service!
Very quick service, second time back for breakfast. Kind staff and very good food. Looking forward to my 3rd visit!
It was nice!
Soooo amazing!! Our server Darrin was lovely and on point with every detail : )
I give 4 stars for service, because a restaurant of this caliber, I do not expect to have to ask for water. I had to ask for water re-fill 3 times. Not once was my water re-filled without asking. It’s a basic service that I believe is a standard.
Their bottomless menu was interesting. Definitely something to try at least once, but maybe not a second time. I prefer a la carte, and really loving one dish. There wasn't really any item on the menu that would attract me to go for the bottomless menu again. But overall was a good experience anyways :)
For Christmas dinner was disappointed. It started with our seating. We arrived and checked in and there were two hosts. It seemed liked they were not communicating. After checking in the other hostess sat people that came after us. There were no walk ins, just reservations. We observed some discussions between the host and hostess what appeared to be an argument about missing us. The gentleman came over and apologized and said it would be a wait. The ambience was nice with music and soft lights but when we were seated we ended up being placed in a back room, separate from the dining area. For $125 for a Christmas dinner this was a huge disappointment. Then after 1/2 an hour past our reservation we still did not even have drinks, even though I ordered a bottle of wine. I decided to go back to the host to request a seating change and they were accommodating. We moved to a new table up front in the bar area. The server came by and asked us if we wanted to order drinks. I let her know we had already ordered a bottle of wine and were waiting for it for more than 1/2 hour at the other table. She said she would go check and asked what bottle it was. She came back with the wrong bottle and then said she would have to send someone downstairs to the cellar to go and retrieve. After receiving our wine it then started with our meal which included bread, soup and then a choice of an entree. My husband ordered a traditional turkey dinner and the sausage was not good. I ordered the sable fish which was absolutely not a good choice. My mother-in-law as well ordered sable fish and it was bland. Dessert was good and no comolaints there however the server asked us if we wanted it packed up to go which seemed like an odd question. Needless to say we stayed and enjoyed our last course. I’ve been to the arc before and have good experiences, especially for breakfast and so not sure what happened this night as something was off.
For the price we have paid this was theft , the roast was dry and luke warm the turkey was un palatable, and un chewable the soup had a crust over it ,sign of the way to long time under the heating lamp , the service was crap , first we got offered bread , it was perfect
then we ask for drinks , which arrives way after , the soup had a crust over the top sign that it was siting way too long under the heat lamp, then came the main course and they forgot the salad so they broth the salad out ( this was the best part of it ), we ask for more bread and got received with a negative , then the main course , what a joke , you will never get me again ! a place with this reputation should never have a service and a meal like this
Food was subpar for the price paid. Drinks took over a half hour to arrive, horseradish came halfway through the meal. Ambiance was great, everything else not so much
Christmas Day 2020- I felt that for the price of the meal, my turkey was a hard slab of meat as was the sausage that accompanied the meal. I couldn’t eat either. That was disappointing as I am nit a chef, but can cook fall of the bone juicy tender turkey. My friends meal was great compared to mine, he ordered the prime rib. All in all for the price that was paid 300 with tax and additional fees, I wasn’t impressed.
Presentation not up to standard.
Table should have been laid to add to the Christmas feel. Very plain !
Food not hot enough,
Starter tasted great but again not far off cold.
Main course average, potato serving too small, turkey sausage no favour and dry.
Deserts good.
Table service was very good.
Overall experience very overpriced for what was offered
We had a great time at Arc for their bottomless brunch on Christmas Day. The food itself could have came out a bit warmer, more fresh, and more polished, however, the service was outstanding which made up for the food not being the absolute best. Great service by the staff and manager. Great atmoshphere, with live music in a big open space with lots of natural light. It was a bit overpriced for the quality of food. For the cost, we expected more fine dining, but it was not that. Overall, great experience to have once. We would probably not go back again just because it is insanely expensive for the quality of food. ($130 / person)
We had a wonderful Christmas day brunch--thank you!
We decided to treat ourselves and dine at Arc for Christmas Day brunch. We paid $129 per person plus 18 percent gratuity. All things considered in a covid -19 Christmas we thought it would be a treat for us. When we checked the menu the day before we realized they had removed a few items off the menu, along with hot chocolate. My wife doesn’t eat seafood so the menu items they removed affected her selections. We called the restaurant the day before to ask why they changed their menu from the time of booking and they told us they replaced them with other more premium items; but these premium items were already there alongside the items they removed . I love seafood but my wife doesn’t and that is why we chose this place so there would be items for us both to enjoy but this changed when they removed those menu items. We were told there are no refunds offered. We decided we would make the most of it and still go as it is a difficult time for all. We were told that if the chef had more time they could possibly make additional items for my wife but there are no guarantees. They asked us our names to note by our booking, but upon arriving it was not mentioned at all. Our server was overall great. The value was just not there for what we paid. Some of the menu items were lukewarm, and turkey dish was also tough and my wife didn’t finish it. I ordered one drink and our total bill was $330. We will not be recommending this Christmas brunch to anyone. They do have a regular brunch for $35 that would probably be a much better value. Overall dissatisfied with our experience for a highly rated restaurant at a high end hotel.
It was for Christmas Brunch and the day after I asked my now fiancé to marry me! Spectacular experience!
