We were extremely disappointed with the brunch buffet. There was little variety and the service was terrible. It may have only been our server or he was having a bad day but the food was slow to arrive and he never checked on us unless we go flagged him down. Not sure what the hype and food bloggers are talking about or posting unless they get free buffet and higher service levels for posting

My first time there . Love love love the dungenese crab eggs Benny . Service was great . Celebrated a fitness bday and got a free dessert ! The best ! Will definitely come back and recommend to my friends .

Went for the brunch (unlimited ordering from a menu of dishes). The food was high quality and well prepared, but the dishes were quite repetitive with many being topped with a poached egg (eg various Benedicts) or fried eggs (eg crepes) or included egg in the dish (eg tacos with scrambled egg) so there seemed to be a narrower range of dishes than last year when we went. Try the Ooey Gooey skillet and the fried chicken which were really good! The price has certainly gone up since our last visit (by around 35%) so we didn’t find the brunch to be good value for money. The service was however superb. The restaurant was much emptier this year than on our visit last year so not as buzzy or as atmospheric, although now easier to get a table.

Attended for Easter. The Easter basket (macarons & chocolates) was lovely but there was really nothing else festive. Partly we were disappointed as were expecting an Easter buffet. The food was okay but nothing spectacular. Our waitress was the best part. She was friendly and attentive

I went to the "bottomless brunch" at ARC restaurant on Easter Sunday, hoping that, at $99 p.p., plus tax, plus 20% service charge, plus drinks etc., it would be a good place to meet with family. However, it was not a buffet, but a list of a dozen or so menu items that could be ordered. You could order as many as you like, hence the name bottomless. However, for a Fairmont hotel restaurant, the choices were quite basic -- when you see items like Croque Monsieur and Avocado Toast as two of the items, it doesn't inspire. The dishes were nice enough - and the server was good, informative and efficient. But for that sort of price, it was very poor value for money. I would go back to stay in the hotel, which I found to be one of the nicest in Vancouver, but I could not recommend the restaurant.

Easter. It was nice, but not $99/person nice. Tea came in a cheap metal single cup pot, not a great start to a special meal. Only one type of smoothie, no juice offered with price. All bennies were not hot, overcooked. Jerk chicken very good. Dessert disappointing.

Server was awesome and the food was delicious, only complaint was the hostess kept us waiting for a long time without talking to us. We had a reservation so not sure what all the wandering around the restaurant was about before being seated especially when once we were led to our table there were lots of open 2 seater tables.

Two lovely meals at Arc during our stay at the Fairmont Waterfront. Service is excellent! The ambience is relaxing and sophisticated. Loved the Mushroom Rigatoni. Will be back.

We went on a Sunday at 1:30 pm, the last sitting for the bottomless brunch. The service was exceptional but the food was a mixed bag. We tried most of the dishes on the menu with varying results: The highlight: - OOEY GOOEY SKILLET was warm and delicious. The good: - The BC BERRY BASKET SMOOTHIE, GRANOLA PARFAIT, JERK FRIED CHICKEN were very good. Flavourful and fresh. The rest: - The CROQUE MADAME and TRADITIONAL BENEDICT were not fresh. The bread on both had clearly been sitting for a while making them both overly chewy and very hard to eat. - The BEEF SHORT RIB POUTINE was very good but again, but the fries were soggy and a bit cold and had clearly been sitting for a while. - The PRAISED PORK CHEEKS were a bit bland but the polenta and onions were very tasty. - The MIGAS BREAKFAST TACO was cold and bland. I would come back as the venue is gorgeous, the service great and the few other meals we saw on the way out looked good, but I'm not sure I'd have the bottomless brunch again. Perhaps the first sitting of the day is fresher but if the food isn't still fresh at the last sitting, then the bottomless option shouldn't be offered. Disappointing considering the cost.
