    Home made pasta with great sauces, main courses are all beautifully cooked. Their fried offerings are light and not greasy (fritta mista, fried artichoke hearts) and a good wine selection. This is authentic Italian cooking at its best.

    Delicious Sardinian-inspired food in a pleasant, unpretentious atmosphere. I have never had a disappointing meal there, and I’ve been at least a dozen times.

    Excellent pasta, loved the charcofi, very nice deserts. Wines were over-pried given the small size of glasses. A very nice neighborhood Sardinian restaurant.

    Arco is a family-owned neighborhood gem. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food uniformly tasty. The only negative is street noise if eating outdoors.

    Seating is very tight. Pasta was good. Veal Milanese was very deeply fried and French fries were NOT homemade. I asked because they looked like mass produced frozen food service fries which is exactly what they are. Overall…not a great meal.

    Nothing too fancy, but the food is really good. A wonderful neighborhood Italian featuring beautiful home-made pasta. Always a pleasant evening. Reasonably priced too. Try a bottle of Cannonau with your dinner!

    Francesca (the front of the house) and her brother (the chef) run a great operation. We’re regulars and they never miss the mark. We brought some “east side” friends there last night and they also thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It’s amazing how Francesca and her assistant provide attentive service to a full house. Their different house-made pastas with various sauces are fresh and delicious as are their other appetizers, entrees and desserts.

    You feel welcome as soon as you enter Arco Cafe. Pictures on the walls are scenes of Sardinia, the source of the dishes. Everything is delicious, especially pasta which is served at THE RIGHT MOMENT! We have been there several times and it never disappoints. The prices are very reasonable for New York, and no one snatches your plate when you’re not ready. It’s a leisurely meal, most enjoyable.

    I enjoy this place. The specials are always the best choice, but the regular menu items are also quite good. The Sardinian takes on the food make it unique and a great neighborhood destination.
