Food was ok but portions small and pricey. Service super slow. Went before a Raptor's game, ordered at 6pm, got appetizer quickly likely cuz no cooking required (meat & cheese board) But mains came at 7.20pm after 3 repeat reminders to the waitress that we needed to go.
Always a great meal! Alessio and his staff always deliver amazing hospitality !!
My first dinner at Aria was ok. The wait staff was extremely nice and attentive. The food wasn’t anything memorable, but not bad in the least. I think the best this this place has going for it is the location. But it could be packed every night with either a revised menu or a different chef.
Wine list is very good but expensive. Shared porterhouse with two veggie sides was delectable! Port and cheese the proper finish. A lovely valentines dinner with my love.
usual terrific quality food and service. wine list is terrific. people are friendly. atmosphere is great if you are in main part of restaurant -- a little closed in if you are in the back by the bar -- would avoid.
Overall terrific. its my go to place down by the ACC
As always, dinner here on Tuesday night was excellent.
We were warmly welcomed by the Owner Elena and were seated at a lovely table.
We dined prior to the Raptors game so it is always challenging to get the timing right but we enjoyed a great meal and we weren't rushed.
Look forward to another amazing meal soon.
great food with great service, super friendly staffs
Great service, terrible food. Would not recommend this for winterlicious.
I don't think our server smiled once and seemed a bit annoyed when we asked for things. The one thing that stuck with me was the smell...it seemed the whole time we were there we could smell burning food and that smell stuck with me the rest of the day.
It wasn’t our first visit but we were disappointed this time .
Great food and the space was very nice as well, though we felt a little rushed. This would be a great spot for lunch but I'm not sure about dinner.
We had Winterlicious menu (3 options on each category). Good food and good ambience.
The only advice to improve: waiters to get more training on how to serve and not to mix up dishes.
We attended Aria for a 30th birthday party celebration during winterlicious. The menu selection was interesting, and the food was delicious. Our concern was the service. Our service was professional and friendly but was often nowhere to be found. We had to ask multiple times for items such as the bill, and were kept waiting for quite an excessive period of time. The restaurant was not busy, but the food took much longer to arrive than other tables who had been seated after us. This was not a pleasant experience.
If I had to recommend this restaurant, it would be on the merits of the food. The service, however, was lackluster at best, and can't imagine myself going back there in the foreseeable future.
Totally enjoyed our meal; everything was tasty and Home-Made; would recommend and go again. Location is fantastic, right in front of Air Canada Centre - Maple Leaf Square. Thank you to all the staff for a memorable evening.
Direst is not good, however, the main was really good. I like pasta and lamp even know I can not remember the whole name about these two courses
Got us in and out quickly for the Leaf game but didn't feel rushed.
Service was good however the food was not. The place had no ambiance at all, no energy, no vibe, was also quite empty for a Saturday night- which made the food come out promptly, unfortunately it was undercooked and over seasoned. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back.
I just wish there were people there when I go. They deserve to have better attendance. I was VERY pleased to see their Veal Milanese chop back on the menu!
My go to restaurant near the ACC. Great food, wonderful atmosphere and superior wine list.
We went to Aria to celebrate my birthday. There were 14 of us and though the food was good, the service was not. Our server wasn’t very friendly and was not on top of what was going on. For instance, my niece’s food didn’t come out with the rest of the food and we waited for a while and only after we inquired did he go to the kitchen to find out that there had been an “incident”. We waited another 5-10 minutes for her food. He didn’t realize they were out of gnocchi until after we all ordered and then we had to change our orders. Some of us got pepper and cheese while others had to wait and when we asked, we were made to feel like we were imposing. We often had to ask for things more than once. It wasn’t busy so there was really no excuse. Generally, he just didn’t make us feel very welcome and when an 18 percent gratuity is included in the bill, it stings when the service is sub-par.
