Aria Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
This is just a convenient place close to ACC. Food was subpar and grossly overpriced. I ordered risotto only to get a soupy undercooked rice that cost me $36 .....so yea.
Booked before a concert and was extremely impressed. Go to many concerts in the area and will definitely go again!
The pasta which I ordered was small portion and filled with salt. Expensive for that small portion. Small white bread.. not worth it
Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and when we made the reservation we were asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. I typed in 25th Wedding Anniversary, thought someone at the restaurant would acknowledge it to us and they never did. Oh well 25 years married is no big deal....who knew?
That aside delicious meals, drinks and dessert would eat there again.
Accessibility re: Union Station, ACC, Rogers Centre
Great location, Good Food, Nice Staff, Great Wine list/Bar
Adequate. Aria is always adequate, never really astounding or amazing. Service is somewhat inattentive but if you assert yourself they most certainly respond.
Service was great. Beautiful place ... Surprisingly it wasn't very busy.
Even though there was plenty of room in the restaurant, we were put in a terrible spot close to the kitchen. We should have asked to be moved. Server was inattentive. Food was excellent thought
We picked it because it was on OpenTable and close to the Rogers Centre and the menu looked good! The food surpassed our expectations and honestly everything we had was unreal! We would highly recommend
During my last two experiences, I made reservations in advance but was still made to wait almost 20 mins for my table.
Excellent service and food, very nice décor and well situated next to Union Station and Air Canada centre. Also easy to find for out-of-town visitors. Enjoyed restaurant on my last visit to Toronto in December and very happy to return during my recent visit. Very busy evening, but with my reservation, I got a table very quickly and the service was excellent. Thank you.
Have been there a number of times and am always content with the food and atmosphere. Super convenient for watching shows at the ACC. Will gladly return.
For such a beautiful restaurant, the food quality and service should be improved. It wouldn't be hard to pay a little more attention to the details of the food including portion size, taste and training of staff. We chose the restaurant due to its proximity to the Acc, but would not go out of my way to return.
Menu on open table was outdated so our expectations were not met.
My husband and I had an early dinner. The hostess/waitress was warm and charming. Our experience was wonderful from the beginning. I enjoyed the sea bream. My husband loved the rack of lamb.
This is our second visit with a large group (14+) in as many months - both for birthdays. Our service the first time was 4/5 with a mild bit of attitude which is common is higher end downtown restaurants. But this visit the lady server was very blunt and dismissive for a very polite an quiet table. She refused to come back for a mains order, and told multiple people "no" she wouldn't come back to them as they weren't ready. The food was great, but Service dictates the feeling you leave with, and her attitude reflects the star level given. I'd like to note that the table still tipped above 15% as a courtesy to the amazing kitchen staff.
This restaurant is a beautiful place. Its conveniently located right outside of the Air Canada Centre. The seating was comfortable and the space was bright and tastefully decorated. Perfect place if you need to make a good impression on someone.
It is a little pricey, so wouldn't recommend for a casual outing as the feel of the place is more formal and higher end. The portions range from moderate to small. If you have a big appetite, you may want to order more than 1 thing.
over all good experience.
our waitress ( i want to say her name was Kelly, but i could be wrong ) was very polite, well put together and knowledgeable. She had good menu suggestions and always approached the table with a smile.
Overall a great dining experience for a business lunch. Only (small) issue was that the noise level was quite loud, making it difficult to carry a conversation without almost yelling.
The patio is nice and the interior is gorgeous, but we were less than impressed with the service and food. The bread was hard and burnt black on the edges so we asked for fresh bread. The waiter was rude and argued with us before bringing us fresh bread (which was noticeable superior both in looks and taste to the first serving). The burata special was good but the mains were mediocre in taste and because of that, felt overpriced. I had high hopes based on Aria's looks but we all left feeling pretty disappointed. Will not return or recommend.
Both presentation and taste were average for the price. Portions were small but expected for a fine restaurant.
We found the Aria Restaurant very worth eating at. The service, ambiance and noise level was excellent. The food was very tasty. We recommend that you include the cost of tea or coffee into the Summerliscious price, by adding a few dollars to the original cost.
I made reservations almost 2 weeks in advance, once we arrived they told us to sit in the back among a group of ppl right where the door was as ppl coming and going + wait staff? In my reservation I specified birthday so would love a window seat private . Then they said oh you can have this table BUT pls be out by 8PM? FYI no mention of my wife`s birthday !! I felt rushed and was not happy from arrival to exit of this place and we will never be back.!!
Uninspired food. Not worth the price. Preoccupied servers, but friendly.
Aria had good food and drinks however over priced. I would not likely return.
Nice place however, really slow the evening I was here on business. Staff were stretched and or just did not seem to have a grip on what service we needed. Just felt like the guy just did not like serving us. All in all though not bad for a Tuesday. Thanks again
Attending this restaurant specifically for it's Summerlicious lunch menu and we were not disappointed in any of our courses. Wonderful meal! Very worth every penny!!
The food was excellent and the service was optimal but the menu was pricey.
Before going to this place I would recommend asking how many waitstaff are working. We experienced one waitress, one hostess, and one cook staff waiting on a dining Room full of people (over 15 tables). I give the waitress credit for her grace and kindness while she ran all over taking orders, making drinks, filling water and even cutting the bread for the ENTIRE restaurant. I have never seen anything like this before. The food was just ok and not amazing. The terrible service since how can you provide good service waiting on an entire restaurant , ruined it for me. Even dessert ruined when told chocolate cake falling apart and I had to pick something else. I wouldn't recommend this place. Should have gone across street to Eleven the more expensive restaurant who actually have staff.
This was the only restaurant downtown that I could find to accommodate a (birthday) party of 17. But we were very glad to have chosen it.
The staff were very obliging, and scrupulously attentive when we arrived. We had to wait almost an hour before we could be seated (there were 3 major events nearby, creating an early crush), but after that we were in an oasis. The food was really excellent: expensive, but excellent. The wine was very expensive—e.g. $50 for a bottle of Malbec that is only a quarter of that in the LCBO—but it was also very good. But for a special occasion, it was indeed special. Top marks.
Great upscale authentic Italian restaurant.
Great location but every thing was salty. Maybe it was me.
Service was polite but extremely slow. After speaking to the manager, it would have been nice to have been offered a complimentary something in acknowledgement.......
Service was prompt and very courteous. Food was excellent.
Excellent service great food.
Fabulous spot; great food choice and excellent service. You will not be disappointed.
Most of the food was good and enjoyed by my guests. I was disappointed
by the lobster pasta - couldn't rave about it as others did about their risotto and osso bucco.
The restaurant was VERY noisy. Found ourselves shouting, or failing to compete, not talking at all.
Once again a perfect evening with good food and good service.
Great Italian restaurant rigjt next to Air Canada Centre
Didn't like the food, found it very bland and there was a mouse that ran across the restaurant and the wait staff couldn't have cared less
Really like the restaurant. I go every time I can.
