Arielle's Country Inn, located on Allentown Road, is housed in a beautifully appointed, historic, stone building dating back to 1754. Used as a stagecoach stop in the 18th century, the restaurant still retains that warm country atmosphere. Chef/owner, Jacques Colmaire, uses locally sourced, fresh, high quality ingredients to skillfully prepare food for you to enjoy. Diners can choose from Prime steaks, fresh seafood, pasta and other specialities which are all cooked to order and served in a romantic, candlelit dining room, enhanced with a fireplace and cozy bar. We have eaten there before many times in the past. This time we took 4 other people with us. However this time the prices are even higher than in the beginning of this year and the food quality was not as good as in the past

We love this cozy Inn for creative and delicious food, charming ambience and stellar service. This was not our first visit and it won’t be our last. Nestled in a rural area of Bucks County, this restaurant pays attention to small details. Each table has an oil lamp, roses, and vintage salt/pepper shakers. The bread arrives in an authentic Longaberger basket. The wedge salad included the best bacon my partner has ever had. My escargot in puff pastry was amazing. The sea bass and rack of lamb were both wonderful. Our server, Liv, was lively and attentive. We will be back again.

Food was excellent. I had the veal chop it was cooked to perfection, very tasty. My spouse had the swordfish which was delightful. Dessert was the chocolate pear, ice cream with whipped cream.,Will come again.

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Welcoming feel. Food more than delicious and generous portions. The only 'down' was, of course, not the fault of the restaurant - the folks at the table next to us were unusually loud. Certainly we will be returning in the future and recommending to friends.

We were very pleased with our dinners. I cannot say enough good things about the veal chop. Excellent. We shared an appetizer of escargo. Delicious. My husband had the scallops which were also very good. It was our 61 anniversary and it was a special treat. A great place to go for that special occasion.

While this is a beautiful country inn and have visited many times, however our last visit was somewhat off. The calamari appetizer was over breaded and very chewy. The vegetables served with the entrees were over cooked and were like mush. We noted in Our Open Table reservation it was a wedding anniversary celebration and not a word was mentioned about this. Disappointing. Nowhere was it noted there would be a 3% surcharge added to a credit card if it was used for payment until we received the bill. We would of brought cash if we had known this. Won’t be going back soon.

Driving onto the property one can appreciate attention to detail. Gardens and outside dining area are very nice. This continues inside the rustic country inn with antique appointments. Every staff member was pleasant and attentive to each guest. Our party of 4 enjoyed apps of lobster bisque or gazpacho. Then on to rack of lamb, sea bass or halibut all done perfectly. The coffee even deserves a mention for good taste. Dessert complimented our dinner with key lime pie, creme bruise or pistachio ice cream all very good. The place was quite but active. Overall a great dinner out with a $75pp cost including 20% grat as a treat.

From appetizers, entree and dessert, everything was fresh. Presentation was very eye appealing. Service was friendly, smooth and efficient. The crab cake app had generous lumps of real crabmeat, the lobster raviolis were equally generous. Chicken cordon blue was a fresh stuffed large breast, not prepackaged. Arielles makes their own ice cream. Pistachio was amazing and vanilla equally good and creamy. You won't be disappointed no matter what you choose.

Ordered the filet medium, it came out mooing. Sent back to have it cooked some more. Heard nothing back. Had to flag the waitress down after 15 minutes and inquire. Checked and not ready yet. Finally asked again at 30 minutes and it came out. My husband had finished his meal by then, I asked for it to go. No apologies or taking responsibility for it. We were celebrating our 42nd anniversary. No consideration and lack of professionalism.

We sat on the front porch to dine, and it was so peaceful and beautiful surrounded by all of the flowers. We normally have the Salmon, which is to die for, but this time I had the scallops and my husband had the Chicken Cordon Bleu....both were exceptional! We've eaten there so many times and are never disappointed. I highly recommend them!
