   I live in the area and love your restaurant for the convenience, ambience, and quality of the food. However, this last visit was off. My girlfriend and I were in to have an anniversary meal and step outside of the 'corona intensity' that is affecting the community. Unfortunately, the table of 4 next to us got into a very intense and escalating conversation with our server that went on for quite some time. It was out of sync with the general energy of the restaurant and frankly left us eager to get out of the environment ASAP as we realized most of the volume and intensity was coming from our server. I want to point out, this was unusual and perhaps this made it stick out even more. I think just an off night especially given the greater circumstances we are facing as a community. We will be taking a break from you for awhile but I am sure we will return in the late spring or summer.

   Even though it is our favourite go to restaurant, I was worried about going out for dinner with all of the COVID-19 warnings. Silly me - Allistar and his team were amazing. Hand sanitizer even before you open the door to tables and chairs cleaned before you sit and paper menus....and then of course to top it off the amazing food, service and wine! I feel bad because they’re only at 60% but it’s to keep us all safe so we tipped well! The interesting message was the safety of staff is first which is why they reduced capacity to 60%. We should all support great local restaurants like Arms Reach!

   Food was good but overpriced. Dessert was almost inedible—-“deconstructed cheesecake”—-cream cheese with some crushed up nuts and tasteless fruit purée—-Yuk Service was good.

   This little gem in Deep Cove never disappoints from amazing high end meals to their weekday specials you can't go wrong with this amazing restaurant. Friendly staff, great drinks, great food, and amazing views from both the patio and inside. Try it and you'll return often!!

   The salmon dinner was a little too salty, dry and unseasoned (other than a lot of salt)on the outside and uncooked on the inside. Potatoes and greens underneath were yummy but not anything too noteworthy. Lovely ambiance and service though. You are paying for the service and the view, the food was not as unique as I expected. Also disappointed to see very few vegan and vegetarian options. Would still recommend due to great hospitality and cozy atmosphere.

    This was our first time at Arms Reach Bistro, we went for a dinner with our friends, didn’t really know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised. The service was outstanding, we wanted to ordered a bottle of wine and our server brought us 3 samples of different wines to help us decide which we like best without us asking her for it. Food was excellent and the view was just an icing on the cake. We definitely will be back

    We enjoyed a wonderful Family Day brunch overlooking Deep Cove! There were many waiting for tables, but we didn't feel rushed. A very relaxing venue! Fabulous location, good food and great service. We'll definitely be returning for another brunch or dinner.

    The Arms Reach Bistro is always delightful. The location is wonderful and the restaurant is casual but warm and the staff are very professional while being friendly. The food selection (we had lunch) was adequate although I would have liked to see some more interesting salads on the menu, and it is odd that they offer hamburgers - I think they might be trying to cater to all types of customers. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

    Our go to place in DeepCove since the Savory closed. Consistently good. Their house made dill pickles are to die for. Always busy so suggest reservations. Despite being very busy it still is able to seem intimate and the servers do a great job.

    We had a special foursome dinner at Arms Reach this weekend. It was really enjoyable. The service was spot on - efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and the food couldn't really be better! It's fresh and innovative and there is something for everyone. I love the menu. Noise was the only reason I didn't have five stars all around and maybe a candle on the table would be nice. We wish we had one in our own neighbourhood. Thanks for a great dinner out.

    Delightful little restaurant! The food was delicious, our server was lovely, and it's just a cute cozy little spot. When our server found out we were celebrating our anniversary she brought us each a glass of prosecco as a little surprise at the end of our meal, such a thoughtful touch. Looking forward to going back in the warmer months to enjoy the patio!

    After we got home we got home and I paid for all I was told by my wife two,guests had ordered the dine out Vancouver but we were charged for these as regular menu items.

    Arms Reach BistroResponded on January 24, 2020Hi Kilgore, I'm sorry for any confusion. We charge for each dine out course separately on your bill. First course is $10, main course is $15 and dessert is $10 totalling $35 for 3 courses. Those items should start with "DOV" on your bill. We don't normally carry those items, so they don't have a set regular price. If there is an error on your bill, please call or email us and I would be happy to solve any issues and make sure you aren't overcharged.

    This is my favourite restaurant in all of Vancouver, without question. We go there often for dinner, lunch and brunch. All special occasions are celebrated there! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is charming and cozy and the staff are experienced and attentive. Do yourself a favour and make a trip to lovely Deep Cove to experience this restaurant- you wasn’t regret it!

    Perfectly situated with a lovely view of the Deep Cove Yacht Club and municipal pier this is THE place to eat out in Deep Cove. The staff is friendly and helpful and the is food pretty good, if a little over-priced. Great value on Wednesdays (for the pasta special and a beer) and Thursdays (for a burger and a beer) when you can eat for $15 to $17 per person.
