    Decent but not great. When you select a restaurant for its quality, you are ready to pay the price. But you also have the enhanced expectations of finding something amazing. Not here. You get the classic hotel menu, toned down, low in flavor, with components prepared well in advance and without enthusiasm. Not worth the price of CAD $150 per person. A disappointment for my birthday. I had an entrée of pan-fried foie gras on a bed of tatin. Foie gras needs to be seized quickly so as not to lose its flavor and content. Mine had the consistency of dried tofu. I then ordered the Grilled chef’s special, which happened to be a Brazilian picanha. The meat was tender, with little fat (departing from the traditional preparation) but also with little flavor and overall disappointing. It was not clear whether it had been prepared on the grill as advertised. There were no juices as in cases of pre-frozen meats, which lose their blood content in the process, which explain the lack of flavor. Half a potato filled with meats was presented on top. It had been prepared long in advance, was lukewarm, and didn’t feel very fresh. On the positive side, my wife had a decent piece of fish and a decent salad Caesar. I can’t recommend it, as you get better value elsewhere.

    On ne se trompe pas en choisissant le restaurant l’Arome surtout durant la période des Fêtes car ils ont un très bon buffet à volonté a seulement 32$ par personne. J’y retournerai assurément.

    Christine and Daniel are amazing servers and they will always make you feel special. The menu tonight was outstanding! Our appetizer was Classic beef and salmon gravlax with caviar, slivers of pickled beet with maple! Spectacular! The next course was the chef’s grilled specialty - a melt in your mouth beefsteak and a cut I’ve never had before in my life. The side was prime rib stuffed in a baked potato with an old cheese. It was F’n fabulous! To complete the tableau was the return of their desert bar, hallelujah! Those cream puffs are to die for! Their wine selection is impressive and immense. The servers really pair your meals exceptionally. We used to visit Aröme twice a month, (for the past eight years) however with inflation, rise in prices and factoring cost cutting measures we can only afford once a month now. We are grateful to Christine, Daniel and all the servers we know and love to treat us like family when we visit. Thank you so much.

    I took the three course meal. The soup was absolutely fantastic. The prime rib tender could possibly be, and all you can eat. Dessert buffet was very good and great variety all in all fantastic night out

    Prix exhorbitants pour de la bouffe de qualité juste un brin supérieur à la moyenne. Une ambiance relaxe et chic, mais bcp trop de tables, rapprochées l'une de l'autre, qui enlève au charme de l'endroit. Le service de qualité inférieur et très lent (il a fallu demandé où était passé notre repas après presqu'une heure d'attente entre l'entrée et le repas principal).

    The noise level was high and it was sometimes difficult to hear a person speak. Table d’haut was inconsistent. The 4 diners had the prime rib; the thickness varying from 1/2” to 1 1/2”. I requested medium rare and my prime rib was medium well.

    Food was amazing! Felt rushed at first but after 15 mins in, waiter took is time to ask questions and pausing between tables! It was for my husband’s birthday! Will be back!

    Si vous aimer le foie gras poêlé payer vous la traite…en entrez a $36 ces assez dispendieux mais il était sublime! En main course jai pris le plat du chef grillardin et s’était vraiment très bon.

    It is always a pleasure to go to L'Arôme, the atmosphere and the staff are delightful. Prices have increased significantly which is why we do not dine there as frequently as before COVID. At that time there were special deals on wine on Tuesday's and the lunch buffet was always good and included desert, today desert alone is 14$ not a good deal

    Nous sommes en voie de nous réconcilier avec l'Arôme! Le menu est presque revenu à la normale. Dimanche dernier, nous avons choisi le flétan et il était excellent. La crème brûlée au dessert était succulente et très bien présentée avec ses fruits en décoration. On espère qu'un jour les pétoncles reviennent au menu. Je ne comprends pas la politique de ne pas avoir de corbeille de pain sur la table.

    On a du demander pour avoir du café. Nous avons trouvé qu’ils ont coupé sur certaines choses au buffet : morceaux de bacon émietté,vinaigrette,crevette,j’ai du demander pour avoir une tranche de jambon supplémentaire et la dame m’a dit: je vous donne une p’tite tranche mince!! Le prix du buffet est quand même $59.00[

    Excellent service. Menu is a bit pricey. Not a lot of seafood options. Food was good, but in my opinion not as good as a high-end seafood-steakhouse should be. Morning buffet was very good!

    Reservation was made for a special birthday occasion and I mentioned so. We were put near the end towards the door with wobbling legs. Food were the most disappointing part, the onion soup was presented beautifully but too salty to eat. My $38 risotto was overly cooked with stale flavour. The only pleasant part - the service was good and accommodating. We will not likely go back and hope they improve the quality of their food …

    We go often as VIP guests and never have we been let down by quality at all levels. I must say that lady night we had Frederick as a server and will always request his area as he was the best we've had there over the several years eating there. He was knowledgable about the food and wine. He truly made our night.

    Côte levée sauce à la cerise excellent Assiette de mer à partager avait une belle variété, crevettes légèrement trop cuite, mais très bien dans l’ensemble. La suggestion du vin était discutable, j’aurais aimé une meilleure association. Ce qui est décevant est que nous avons averti le restaurant d’avance que nous étions allergique œufs. Le serveur a simplement dit, pas de pain pour vous, vous êtes allergique, aucun remplacement.

    The service was amazing the best I’ve ever had. The food was a disappointment, I’ve eaten here years ago on multiple occasions and always satisfied with the food, this time not so much, it was not bad but just average, when you pay a higher price point you expect a higher quality. That said I will try again at some point.
