    Outdoor section of the restaurant is stunning…. You feel like it’s the Hawaiian islands. Enjoyed the crab dip appetizer and the seafood dinner for two was outstanding. The lobster Mac and Cheese side good but not served hot. The musician/singer performing outside made the meal perfect. Will definitely return soon.

    This restaurant is in the cheeca lodge. We ended up there for dinner because we were tired and didn’t want to leave the hotel. I would not recommend it for the food. It was fair at best. I ordered the pork chop which was covered in so much brown gravy you could not even taste the chop. My husband’s swordfish was fair as well. The creamed spinach was good and tasty. The mashed potatoes were cold but once they brought warmer ones it was good. They offered us free drinks because of the cold potatoes which was very nice!! Our key lime pie, small but delicious, it was small for sharing, which we did.The setting is lovely, palm trees, foliage and a nice band playing in the background. The service was good too. Very nice wait staff.

    We have a reservation at 6 PM, great. We get sat and served water and I ask for a beer, “he responds he is not my server”. So we wait for the server… at 6:30 PM, I get up and ask the hostess. Apologizes and finally someone comes. We order and including the beers. First one beer arrives at 6:45 and says oh we don’t have of the Iguana bait. Then we agree on another one, another 10 minutes go by. At 6:50 all we have gotten are 2 beers, no food nor even bread. Then finally our food arrives at 7:10, keep in mind we sat at 6. We order a bunch of plates, they tell us they do not have the mushrooms and give us an alternative which was terrible. We ordered the Sword Fish for 37$, I believe it was. Did not even bring vegetables, it was only a piece that was like 5 inches wide. Then I asked… is there any chance you could bring bread? ive eaten here before many many times and bread is dropped off within minutes…. Very very poor service and quality of food.

    We have dined here a number of times and had excellent service and food. Perhaps it was the time (3pm) that our family went for lunch, but the wagyu burgers were ordered medium rare but came well done and dry. The fries were close to cold. The three small fish tacos sat on corn tortillas that were stiff and seemed like they were left under a worming light too long. It was not the experience we were expecting from past visits. Hopefully this was just an outlier.

    Wonderful dinner at our favorite resort. Server was new to the resort but very personable. Loved the whole fried snapper, hubby enjoyed skirt steak and son indulged in filet with Demi and lobster Mac and cheese (loaded with lobster!). Thank you Cheeca for our first night welcome back dinner!

    Asked to have Yellow Tail that we had caught to be cooked for us. Unfortunately the kitchen had no idea how to properly pan sear Yellow Tail It came out grey and mushy since liquid must have been added to the pan. Very disappointing. The ambiance was great. As was the music.

    One of our go to restaurants in Islamorada, the atmosphere is uncompilable, the service is top notch, the food is excellent and the music is perfect for the venue. The GM stopped by the table to say hello and to make sure everything was OK.

    Simply stated, my girlfriend and I were looking to find a nice island dinner that was a bit more elevated than your standard casual island dining experience you get with most places in the keys. We found this restaurant online that could accommodate a last minute reservation and we were very pleased with the outcome. Service was excellent (was moderately empty since we are late around 9 PM, but waitress was sweet and attentive), food was outstanding (we split the oysters Rockefeller, Mahi Mahi, and key like pie), and the ambience was beautiful for a nice date night out. Don’t let “hotel dining” fool you—it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby looking for a great anniversary/date spot. Another value-add is if you dine there, valet is free.

    The mussels are excellent and the broth didn’t stand a chance. I asked for a spoon and ate all of it. Crunchy bread is preferable to pita and I will ask for it the next time. The meal was exceptional and Cheeca is becoming a culinary force in the Upper Keys.

    Waterfront dining, live jazz music, fish so fresh you’d think they just reeled it in and deliciously prepared. We eat out a lot but every course pleasantly surprised us in how good it was. All in all, a casually elegant, relaxing evening under the tiki torches as the Atlantic gently lapped the shore.

    The server, Taylor, was great! The appetizers were phenomenal- Shrimp Toast, Shrimp Cocktail and Mussels. I had roasted chicken with fried plantains- the Caribbean spicy sauce was SO good, I wish I had the recipe or could buy it in a bottle!

    We left Miami for a quick trip to Key West and stopped here along the way. The food was amazing for lunch and we plan to come back and stay here sometime!

    Overpriced, decent food but nothing memorable, overworked (but very nice) wait staff apologized for the long wait (about 20 minutes after coffee was served we finally got our dessert). Medium steak was well done, salt and pepper grinders not working but no one available to flag down to correct these issues. We ordered one salad to share, one steak to share, two sides to share and one dessert to share. We each had a cocktail and coffee and the tab was over $200. Very little variety of fish considering the location. Disappointing, nothing special. A bit of a ripoff.

    I had the lobster Lobster grilled cheese was absolutely phenomenal! The truffle french fries were banging as well. My mum had the fish tacos and she really liked it. I definitely recommend to go there.

    The service was amazing and the venue was beautiful, but the food was overpriced and bland. We had the seafood dinner for two. The two scallops were amazing, but the rest of it was basically a seafood boil with a base that sort of resembled a very bland Tom Kha.

    Dear Connor. A Tom Kha? When the Tom Kha Thai soup is prepared correctly, it is delicious. Unfortunately, that was not what we were aiming for. I do apologize about that. It can be very frustrating going out to dinner with an expectation in mind, and to not, have that expectation delivered. I love being a personal part of our guests dining experience in the moments.     Food was very solid. Nothing super exciting but well-prepared. Our server, Laci, however was fantastic, kind, and very accommodating. Also, Alex the host was very kind in allowing us to sit inside.
