Atlas Steak + Fish
Highly recommend eating here food and atmosphere are top notch
We have been to this restaurant before and have been very pleased with our meal, however this last visit was not as successful. Out of five people, only one person was fully satisfied with their meal. The service was very good, the piano playing was lovely. The meals were expensive and not only that but we were charged another $78 for a meal we did not receive. Our guest paid the cheque and it wasn’t until the next morning when we looked over the bill that we discovered the error. We will think twice about going to Atlas and taking guests there. We may give it another chance in the future.
Birthday celebration and everyone enjoyed the evening!!
Food was good, a little pricey but was expected. Service was good. They didn’t have the wine I wanted that was listed on their wine menu which was disappointing, but the server made a fairly good substitution recommendation. Piano player was really good. The four of us all enjoyed the experience.
Great Tomahawk steak. Highly recommend.
Great higher end steakhouse. Best steak I've had ever
Our first time at Atlas was an amazing experience. I would thoroughly recommend Atlas to everyone. The food, service and atmosphere were great. It was excellent value. We will definitely be back again.
Everything was very good but after we reviewed the bill, we found that we were charged for the complimentary bread. Regards,
The food was amazing. My issue was with the service provided. We ordered two bottles of wine and I had to fill up mine and my guests wine glasses throughout the night. Our server never once came around to fill our wine glasses. I would expect this to occur in a fine dining restaurant.
Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, great food. Reasonably priced
We ordered the seafood for 2 and most of it was excellent however there was only three tiny crab legs and the calamari was not very good. I would not recommended ordering it, overpriced and overall we were not satisfied with it.
Service was great and the nibblers were excellent.
Our waiter Shawn was excellent and I will be back soon
Our server ( Jade ) was friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. It was a little crowded and loud, but overall a good dinning experience. Will definitely be back.
Items removed of menu, very poor wine recommendation from server , crab was wet and mushy. Very poor value for money.
Great as usual
Lovely time & incredible food!
Jade, thank you for being so wonderful on our very first Atlas experience. We will be back and hope we get to sit in your section!!
We both ordered a steak. Mine was medium and pink, my husbands was medium and over cooked, no pink colour. Half way through eating my steak the waitress finally came by to ask if I would like pepper. No refill on water was ever done. The house salad had that smoked salmon taste and the butter was mixed with blue cheese which had a smell of nail polish remover. We have eaten here before and the steak melted in your mouth. I will not come back.
Our waitress was very good. My son ordered a rib eye steak medium and it was burned very thin steak for 65.00. The waitress had them take it off the bill. Overall we had a good time. The restaurant it self was very tastefully done.
Very good food with nice presentation. Very friendly, cheerful waitress.
Had agreat meal for our anniversary. Took the family when they were here for holiday. We all really enjoyed it. Best meal in a long time. Steaks were perfect. Pan seared scallops were the best i have had in a long time. Mushrooms were spectacular.
Our server was clearly trying to rush us through our dining experience. We explained that we were not in a rush and wanted to take our time but he seemed to have other plans. Once he had cleared our dinner plates he asked if we wanted our bill. We said we would like to look at the dessert menu and perhaps have an after dinner drink.
Lastly, as we sat having our after dinner drinks the kitchen started frying soooo much garlic that it was making our eyes water. I’m not sure why they would be frying so much garlic as we seemed to be the last table in the restaurant even though it was only appropriately 9:30, so by no means were we a “late” table.
When you go out for a nice dinner and spend over $400 you have an expectation of service. Unfortunately that was not met on this night.
My second visit, service was fine, fairly well appointed room. Most of the food was good, nothing impressive for an expensive meal, however I ordered the Tenderloin and it was not good at all. Part was cooked to the right temperature and ok, part was so dry I didn't finish it.
It also had a thick hard outer layer that was bone dry and overcooked, not a char. A restaurant at that pricing has to be consistently very impressive for me to patronize it.
Service was extremely slow, server was scare, had to get our own cutlery once food arrived, 12oz $56 fillet was a butt end of the filllet and overcooked. We didn’t see anyone’s plate that ordered tenderloin that wasnt an end piece ... I wonder who got the nicely cut centre pieces of the whole filet? Every thing is a la carte but if you’re going to charge those kind of prices the food and service better be good, and it wasn’t. The calamari appetizer should read ‘a plate of warmed olives in tomatoe sauce with a few pieces of grilled calamari. We were asked twice if this was a special occasion and it was specified by me that yes it was, but no mention of our special occasion - so why ask ?? Piano player was very loud, mistakes made on the bill, and we were told there weren’t any buttons on the cash register for those menu items (that were clearly displayed on the table top electronic menu). Overall a huge expensive disappointment and we will not be back and we will not recommend. It was a special occasion and left feeling ripped off in more ways than one..
Our second time in the restaurant, whilst not cheap it is worth every penny.
Best steak I've ever had. And the sides are massive.
The service was the best ive ever experienced. Food was amazing. We had the charcuterie platter as starter and striploin for entree and both were so good!
The food was amazing. Our steaks were cooked to perfection! The meal portion was great, not too much food, not too little food. However, it was a bit expensive and we may not be back for a while because of the price.
Every time we have eaten at Atlas we have had excellent food and excellent service. A definite place to go!
Excellent service & food. Definitely will go back!
It was amazing food, great atmosphere, waitress was super nice and helpful when asked about things and she made sure my husband had gluten free as he is a celiac. I have been telling our friends about our experience but more so the food. Nice change and a nice treat for us to go and spend that kind of money and be happy with the food we spent it on! :)
One request, put signs on your bathroom doors letting your customers know that men and women can use both...I was SUPER confused and didn't know if those two doors were even washrooms if it wasn't for my friend telling me.
this is such a beautiful restaurant. I love the decor and the food. There were four of us in the group and we each choice a different entree. Each of us enjoyed our meal, just absolutely delicious.
Awesome food great atmosphere. A bit on the pricy side but will definitely be back.
FYI The lobster bisque is amazing.
We had the tenderloin with top up of crab. The steak was nice and tender. It came with spicy potatoes and asparagus. Service was superb. We started our meal with a caesar salad that was made at our table.
What was a bit overwhelming was there were to many spices and seasonings that may have contradicting flavours.
We will visit again and try other entres.
We've been to Atlas once before and really enjoyed it. This time, however, my beef tenderloin was overcooked. The server never came back during the main course to ask how the food was. I tried to downplay it as we were out with friends who had never been there before, and I didn't want to spoil it for them. I was pretty disappointed, though, considering the price of the food. All in all, the food was so-so, but perhaps it was just one of those 'off' days for me, the chef, and/or the server. I left only a 10% tip. Although this review may not be the best, I would still recommend the restaurant, and would go back once more to see if my recent visit was just, like I said, an 'off' day.
First time we were at Atlas. I would recommend it to anyone. The food was spectacular as was the service. We weren't being bothered all night but when we needed our waitress she was there. We will definitely be visiting there again. The piano music was perfect in the back ground. A very romantic quiet setting for a nice night out. I even got to talk to one of the cooks and he asked how our dinner was. He was very interested in what I had to say and thanked me again for choosing Atlas for dinner.
We had a lovely evening celebrating our 25th anniversary. We loved the complementary champagne and enjoyed the huge seafood platter. The Caesar’s were outstanding!!
second visit, great food with great presentation. definitely my go to spot for good quality steak and seafood
Wonderful meal with friends, we drove up from Seattle just for the dinner and it was worth the drive. The only thing better than the food was the service.
Great food. Fantastic service! We can’t wait to try Atlas again soon.
