Under renowned culinary leadership, Michelin One-Star Atlas brings a fresh and innovative approach to traditional cooking. Our menu is inspired by Chef Freddy Money’s career in some of Europe’s most prestigious kitchens. Each dish tells a story, and the menu takes you on a journey that focuses on ingredients, provenance, and texture, resulting in a powerful combination of wonderful and memorable food. Our restaurant doubles as a modern art gallery with emerald green walls covered in 20th-century art from some of the world’s most recognized artists, including Foujita, Chagall, Monet, Soutine, and Picasso. The artwork is part of the noted Lewis Collection, among the largest private art collections in the world, with each piece thoughtfully selected and carefully placed for guests to enjoy.

Atlas delivers an extraordinary dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, with a staff that displayed exceptional awareness and execution. As someone who has dined at Michelin-starred establishments worldwide, I can confidently say Atlas ranks among the best. The luxurious and warmly professional hospitality was matched by the staff's genuine enthusiasm and energy. Even though we arrived 30 minutes past the kitchen closure, we never felt rushed. The handling of my mother's egg intolerance was flawless, a rarity compared to other restaurants (specially in Atlanta). Atlas is poised to ascend even higher in the Michelin guide. Thank you, Francisco and team—you truly rock!

The restaurant is very nice in terms of decoration and table layout. Seating is done thoughtfully to allow for conversation to occur at the table without interruption from others. Unfortunately, the wait staff were sometimes too eager to ask questions or move to the next course, which created interruption of conversations. Another distraction throughout the evening was the music being piped overhead. It is challenging to really enjoy a tasting menu and converse about it while Crocodile Rock, We Will Rock You, etc. is blaring through speakers all around you. Even after we complained and had the music volume reduced the music selection was not aligned with a fine dining experience. Many of the courses were nicely prepared and the ingredients well thought out. Others seemed to rely more on the name (e.g., Green Eggs and Ham) rather than the culinary qualities. The price was also something of a miss for the whole evening. The wait staff, while very pleasant, also should be educated about the importance of not serving a course when those dining are away from the table. My spouse went to the restroom and, while gone, a course was delivered to the table. Along with the food came the verbal description; however, only half of the 2-person party got the benefit of the details. In other nice restaurants, during tasting menus, it is customary to pause the service while a guest is away from the table. After all, for $245/person (plus tip), it would seem that wait staff actually waiting on the guest is not an unreasonable expectation. Overall, dinner and parking was just shy of $700 for 2 people, which seemed excessive given the overall experience. There are other high-end, great quality restaurants in Atlanta that do as well, if not better, but charge significantly less.

Outstanding is overused, and it is weak sauce when considering a meal like we had at Atlas. A worldly former CIA agent turned prosecutor turned newsman turned defense attorney and a judge were my guests, and I wanted only to show them HOW important they are to me, both personally and professionally. Atlas and Anthony, the table service lead, exceeded every expectation as we were guided through an empirically superior meal composed of well loved ingredients prepared with the execution of masters. Each course contained a memory and sparked conversation, can you ask for anything more. I could go on and on, almost a week later and the thought of the tomato flavor still jumps onto my palate like I am sitting there, but there are not enough superlatives to express my satisfaction. A special occasion meal of the highest caliber.

Too loud in the dining room. The bars outside the restaurant noise levels spilled into the Atlas and took away from the experience. In addition, I’m pretty sure they (Atlas) had 80’s music playing and while I’m a child of the 80’s I don’t really want to hear that whilst having dinner. The server (Nick) was great. The food…slightly above average. All in all not a great experience. As a side bar, the people going into the other bars had on tennis shoes and shorts.

This was the second time my husband and I dined at Atlas; this time, we brought our parents. We had a 6:30 reservation, for which we arrived and sat down a few minutes early. The first problem occured when four of us wanted the dover sole for two. The waiter came and informed us there was only one dover sole left. At 6:30. At a Michelin star, very expensive restaurant. My parents had said they wanted it first, so I said they should get it and accepted halibut as a substitute. I pictured a grilled or poached filet, which was not what I got. It was fine, but I didn't love it. I have no idea what it cost, given it wasn't on the menu, but I'm sure it was expensive. Backing up a bit, I didn't like my starter at all. My second course was better.

A great birthday dinner. Everything was well executed and it was wonderful to meet the chef himself during the course of the tasting menu. A real treat!
