Atomica Pizza & Wine Bar Ratings and Reviews
A friend and I went to Atomica for dinner this past weekend. The food was delicious, service was fantastic and the drink list is ample! Definitely worth a visit! Will be back for sure.
This was an amazing place to meet friend at for dinner and drink. Everything was top rated. Food. Drinks. Service AMAZING
Server was accommodating to a vegan/gluten free order and meal was delicious
Service was friendly. It was my friend and I and we weren’t checked on very often. Atmosphere was a little clostrophbic. Bread was served cold. We ordered the fettuccini, it was okay.. as well as the Margarita Pizza which was good, although not too much flavour. Both not served very hot. Expensive for not top of the line foods. Not much care was put into anything. Would not recommend.
Had some delicious and original pizzas at Atomica. Service was excellent. Would recommend.
I have been to this restaurant a number of times. It is not what it used to be. It seems they are not doing enough quality control of their dishes. They should get into the habit of bringing in people to taste their food on a regular basis to see which dishes they should keep and which need fine tuning. The last two times I went to Atomica the food left me unimpressed. After two strikes I am reluctant to go one more time. They've basically lost me as a customer for the foreseeable future.
We showed up for our reservation with our young child (incl in res) and the staff looked pretty frazzled that we brought a stroller with us. They didn’t make us feel very welcome. The pizza was good, but the gnocchi was excellent. We had heard a lot about this place and were somewhat disappointed.
Overall the evening was great! We did have to wait quite a while for our reserved table and didn't get any bread, but the service was wonderful and food was delicious (and very filling, even without the bread), so it was well worth it. I will definitely be back, and recommend to everyone!
My friend and we’re out for a girls night out. We both ordered martinis. We were told after quite a bit of fuss that they didn’t have any martini glasses. We also ordered a gluten free pizza which was delicious but NOT hot.
Our server was very pleasant and accommodating but overall our experience was not amazing.
What does the “atomic” mean? Sophisticated cuisine drawing on the creative - and it worked every time.
We love the food and the team!
One of the best pizzas myself and my husband have ever eaten!
Great pizza. Nice wine selection
A little noisy, but a lively atmosphere.
The mushroom soup that night was outstanding.
The noise and the godawful music is a big bore. We would come more often if we didn't have to gird ourselves against an onslaught of awful sound,[And, you are not alone in Kingston.]
You could play some sophisticated music to go along with the vibe...jazz, international vocals,
some contemporary Italian BUT not C&W and Rap. Yuck!
Staff are great.
Gnocchi was Delishious. So was the the sangria. Server was nice to us. Everyone left jolly and full.
Appetizers (mushroom bruschetta and risotto balls) were very good. Pizza was just ok. Nothing special.
Good service, attentive but not overbearing. Care taken with allergies, which is critical for us. Would eat there again in a heartbeat.
Very nice restaurant with good ambiance. Food was correct for the price and service was good.
Connor provided fantastic service with much energy, attention, and humour. Friends from out of town were extremely impressed with all their drinks and food and thanked us for choosing such a tasty and enjoyable restaurant.
it's a nice spot but food was very disappointing. Very overcooked pizza and cannelloni that was truly inedible
The pizza and balsamic on the table is amazing. We went to the olive oil place across the street and tasted/purchased 3 bottles of balsamic the next day. So good! Service was also very good
It was great going to this spot again, food was so good and the waitress was the best. It has become my favourite menu now.
Food was not very good. Fettuccini was very very salty and contained chicken that was obviously cooked from frozen as it and the sauce were like soup. The mussels were just ok. The mushroom soup of the day was very flavourful.
Got together with our daughter from Montreal for dinner and had a nice meal and chattted about things. Service was good, food was good, location is good. We'll be back another time.
Excellent food, service and location in downtown Kingston.
We are former Torontonians where great food is quite accessible and easy to find. We were surprised to find such high quality restaurants here in Kingston and every bit as good as in Toronto and sometimes better. Atomica is one of our favourite restaurants in Kingston and one we wanted to take our visiting friends to. We all loved it. Thanks...
Come here! If you can get a table. Have a Negroni and take it all in
Food was excellent. Restaurant was busy and service was slow. It was very loud and was hard to hear friends across the table.
Exceptional server. Normally I love the pasta with fresh chicken but this time it was disappointing. Very sticky-lack of sauce perhaps this time. Typically pasta is excellent here as it's one of the few restaurants that cooks it nicely. Portion was nice, wine was great, bread was delicious.
The food was quite good actually.
I had the Atomica Pizza while my husband had the Deep Dish Chicago Style.
We ordered drinks and there were loads of floating cork particles from the scotch bottle. We returned the drink. There were flies everywhere, especially when the food came out. Waiting time between service interaction was ridiculously long. The place was generally not very clean.
Quite unfortunate seeing as the food was enjoyable.
We will not be returning.
nice place, good pizza, good value for your money but a little loud.
I love their pizza and their tiramisu! Both just different enough that I can't get it anywhere else, but not so different that I don't like it. A real treat!
The Caprese Salad was a great way to start. We shared the salad, the meatballs and a great pizza for the main. The Katrina pizza was very nice with prosciutto, arugula, pine nuts and olive oil.
Stephanie was a real delight! She even gave my wife the name of a hairdresser in Kingston.
All in all a great meal.
Great restaurant but very noisy, hard to talk and be heard without a raised voice.
The food was delicious and the wait staff were friendly, but the service was slow. No one asked me if I would like another drink...lost sale.
All pizza were too spicy
We had a fabulous experience at your restaurant. We were a group of 4 ( two couples). Our waitress was extremely friendly and very helpful with recommendations. We are from London. We have a daughter that lives in Kingston and goes to Queens. We like to try new non franchise restaurants every time we visit. We would highly recommend this one. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Thanks for a great experience.
We always enjoy the ambiance of Atomica, and the food is normally great, but on this occasion the starter calamari was so weirdly presented, with the calamari tucked underneath a hastily thrown pile of arugula, we didn't know what it was. Then my pizza was dry and although not overcooked, wasn't as pleasant as it had been on previous occasions. My partner's chicken satays were good, and the drinks exactly as we'd ordered with a very special non-alcoholic cocktail which was heartily enjoyed.
Fantastic pizza, knowledgable staff. Packed even on a Monday night. Gnocchi was also great. Salad and calamari was good (but nothing unique) but best pizza in Kingston without question. Servers were very nice although super busy. Will definitely go back, be sure to reserve a table.
Good food and service. All around pleasant dining experience.
Very original and great tasting Beet & Walnut salad. Good size portion. A little noisy
