Constructed around the rustic vestiges of two 1860’s woodcutters’ cottages, Auberge du Pommier combines country charm with contemporary sophistication and style.     Food was good especially appetizers, desert. Little extras were lovely. Main entree was fine but have had salmon much better and cheaper elsewhere. Wine selection excellent though very expensive. Service was friendly, attentive but not obsequies. Ambience was lovely, beautiful room. Would recommend for special occasion but not for people who like huge portions.

    The food was excellent. The service even better. Krista was absolutely a professional. Her knowledge of the menu and wine was top notch. The communication between her and the others was more than appreciated. She made our 28th anniversary very special. As everyone knows it is now very expensive to dine out so you want to have an experience that makes you feel valued. Krista made that happen in spades. The whole team was wonderful.

    The ambiance and decor is beautiful at Auberge. The staff, amazing, attentive, and polite. The food here started off beautifully with the first 2 courses, and the pain du lait was great but the mains were lacking, especially at $78 for steak that was not as tender and juicy as I'd hoped but the mashed potatoes with onions were delicious. The veal was cold when it arrived which had us disappointed. We actually packed the veal home and heated it up on the skillet and it was tasty. But still, the food here I don't believe is worth the price. Again, the service here is fantastic.

    It was our (my wife and myself, celebrating our 20th first date anniversary, we’re like that, lol) first visit, and we were impressed from beginning to end. The seating, our waiter, the Sommelier (we went with Chateauneuf du Pape Domaine Chante-Perdrix) and our meals were top notch. We had high expectations, and left feeling like it was a perfect dinner date. We’ll be back for sure.

    What a lovely experience we had at Auberge du Pommier! We came here for a graduation dinner and everything was just perfect! They pay attention to every detail, and I meant every single one. Our water cups were always refilled right away and every time we were away from the table someone would come and fold our napkins for us properly. The food was amazing! We really like and recommend the foie gras and the duck. But the service is what made the entire evening complete! Michael Fresco, our server, was so kind and fun and knowledgeable which made it so much easier for us to choose our dishes. Definitely recommend this place to anyone for just any occasion as the place is so lovely and fitting for both date nights and large parties!

    This was a pleasant experience to say the least. I would definitely go back to try something different given the level of quality of the food. But it would probably be for an event instead of a regular visit.

    This used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. Now it is over priced, food is just okay, for example, very fatty veal chop, salad was very bland, was there dressing on it?, Crème Brûlée was awful, no vanilla in it, and the texture was off, beouf was cool. Do not know if I will go back. Such a shame.

    Our experience at Auberge du pommier was absolutely delightful. Food was great, don't miss the beef tartare ! The service was lovely, great energy from the all team, every details counts. The creativity and taste of the cocktails are impressive ! The place is wonderful, time stops when you are there. I do recommend Auberge, it's an experience you can't get everywhere. It as is own magic.

    Chose this highly regarded restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Did not disappoint. Outstanding service, very friendly and attentive staff. Food was excellent, the iberico pork was the best we've had. Pleasant surprise after pleasant surprise. So glad we chose this for our special occasion.

    Very disappointing. We’ve been coming to Auberge since the 1990’s. Our dinner last night with 2 other couples was truly unexpected. Our 4 orders of Iberico pork, Salmon, Halibut (very salty) were all very overcooked. The tartare, tomato salad, amuse and Pain Au Lait with delicious butter were enjoyable. Our selection of the ($88) bottle of Pierre Luneau-Papin was great. However, our servers recommendation of Chemistry Pino Noir ($120) was not. The ($29) 8oz glass of Malbec seemed steep for what it was.

    The service was over all very good. The restaurant was cozy, and comfortable with nice ambience. The bathroom was a turn off. I think an upper scale restaurant like this should have nicer bathrooms. Yorkdale shopping mall has better, with a million more people going through it. The food was "OK" but at this price point I guess I wanted something "wow" and unique. However, it was nothing special. My main course fish and appetizer scallops were over salted and just kind of plain. Also, the entree plates were just too simple with almost no garnishments, no depth or diversity. Didn't look like an 80$ dish. In summary, over-all experience was pleasant, service good, but I left feeling underwhelmed.

    The Auberge du Pommier is without question a Toronto classic with bundles of charm and elegance. The service staff are consummate professionals, polished efficiency but with excellent table manners. The kitchen as always out did itself, perfection. Looking forward to our next delicious rendezvous.

    I had to bring my own olives for my martini because Auberge’s olives are too small. The beef had mystery lumps in it. Andrew is a pleasure and makes the evening wonderful!
