    The food was excellent and the service was exemplary. I found it quite expensive but OK for a special treat. I could clearly hear the conversation at a neighbouring table which was mildly irritating.

    It started off with a warm and welcoming greeting from staff along with an incredible atmosphere. My waiter was Walter, a kind and knowledgeable person, recommended what wines go good with my food. Appetizer: I had the escargot to start along with bread & butter and wine, which was an explosion of flavour. Snails taste like cooked mushrooms if anyone wants to know the texture of it. Chef also gave an amuse bush! Entree: I ordered the rib cap, it’s 5oz of heaven on a plate! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. I paired it with red wine and it did satisfy me. Dessert: after all the food, I was stuffed but could not miss out on desert so Walter brought me two small chocolates that went well with the rest of the wine. I went alone and would go again but with another person. Around $250 per person if you’re wondering. Thank you Auberge du Pommier for this incredible experience! 10/10, will come again and recommend to others.

    Amuse Bouche and the fois gras appetizer were delicious, Duck main course was disappointing (duck was chewy, not tender, no vegetables), apple cake was mediocre. Service was excellent. Overall a disappointing anniversary dinner!

    Great place for a fancy celebration. The setting is spectacular, the service very professional yet friendly, and the food amazing. We always do the tasting menu with the wine pairing and are never disappointed.

    The food was very good. Shout out for Chef Ros, the kitchen team, and the server who was serving us, everything was amazing! The Canard confit was so tender, seasoning, texture was 👌👌👌👌. All of the dessert was not too sweet, everything was just on point. Thank you.

    My wife and I had a great afternoon date. We had never tried duck before, but thoroughly enjoyed the duck confit. As well the lemon tartelette was delicious.

    The waiters were super professional and helpful and courteous. They recooked our food from start because my husband had to go change our baby’s diaper and their didnt want to serve us cold food. They also gave us a complementary chocolate dessert because its my bday. Definitely a 5 star restaurant in my opinion. Worth it!

    Ordered medium steak and it was rare in the middle like tartar. They were kind enough to remove it from the bill but i left hungry and it ruined the date for me. That hard to make a medium steak?

    We enjoyed simply the most superb food at lunch -- each dish exquisitely cooked and enhanced through artistic presentation. The foie gras was lightly seared and brilliantly accompanied with pear and quince and apple, the duck leg was succulent without being fatty and its skin crisp and perfectly seasoned, the lemon tart -- well -- that's an ordinary name for what is a truly delicious dessert. The waiters came at all the right moments. Although the room was almost completely full, the linens and furnishings softened the sounds of conversation, and there was no music annoyingly interfering with the pleasure of the lunch. In short -- an ideal experience.

    Our second visit here for lunch. Wish I lived closer. I am an hour north of the city. Auberge is a caliber in dining that goes along with “ delightfully divine and delicious.” Superb service with out waiter Micheal ! 💕 Food is so worth every bite and flavour. Exceptional restaurant.     Our meal of the year! Spectacular service from Krista, amazing food courses, and lovely ambiance. We treated ourselves to a very special butter and bread loaf starter while we viewed the menu. Loved the escargots, beet salad, butter-poached halibut, and the Iberico pork. Could not have enjoyed our evening more. Our favourite Toronto restaurant since the 1980’s!

    My experience at Auberge du Pommier has been impeccable both times when I visited, first time being in Summer 2015; and recently on October 26, 2023 with my Dad. This experience was an emotional one for me because I reconnected with my dad after 5 months. Chef Solomon Mason and his team and the front of the house staff put in immense effort to make the experience memorable for me starting with the wonderfully prepared flavourful fish dishes we ordered (B.C. Salmon and the Sea Bream), followed by the artfully created creme brûlée, which my dad and I shared. I will always look back to this day as one of the most precious moments of my life. And Auberge du Pommier- you never fail to impress me with your ambience and flavour palette. You deserve a Michelin star.

    I have been to the Auberge over 20 times and rated it 5 stars consistently. I haven't been for a couple of years and went last night for our anniversary. The place seems to be slipping-- service(had to wait 20 mins for our table, waitress told us of the special and we said we would like 2--she said take your time on the menu, and when we went to order, they were sold out..slow service on drinks and wine) menu..fairly narrow and traditional entree menu..and very limited dessert menu food..still well prepared and tasty but portions seem to be getting smaller With so many other great restaurant choices, the Auberge is being passed by

    Had the tasting menu. Was very good until the duck breast dish which was very tough, basically I could barely cut it with a serrated steak knife. Not expected for a highly regarded restaurant. The service has slipped as well from pre-Covid. A lot of running around and very little description of what we are having from the main waiter.

    I've been eyeing "Auberge du Pommier" for a while now and finally tried it for the first time for my wifes birthday. Everything was great! Hands down the best bread we've both had, it's a MUST get! We got the scallops and beef tartar both were delicious. For mains, I got the halibut, which just melted in your mouth and was very buttery and flavorful. We also got dessert, their chocolate tart, and a cheese plate. Both were on point. The only downside is it is quite expensive for the amount of food you get, but it is a french restaurant so it's understandable. Great place to go on a date. It's very cozy, and we both had a great night

    If you’re looking for trendy exotic culinary specialties at bargain prices then you should go elsewhere. If, however, you want an excellent menu of French based cuisine cooked to perfection paired with an impressive wine list along with impeccable service staff then Auberge du Pommier should be on your must do list. This iconic landmark establishment has nearly 40 years of experience perfecting the “high-end” style of dining out. My wife and I celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary there last night and we were delighted with the whole experience. Yes, it is expensive but whoever coined the phrase “you get what you pay for “ could have had this place in mind.
