    Spend a lazy weekend afternoon enjoying tea in the restaurant or on our patio. With a postcard view of Victoria's Inner Harbour as your backdrop, our Afternoon Tea is a creative take on the traditional. A perfect way to share and reconnect! Tea is available on Saturdays + Sundays from 11:30am to 1:45pm. Reservations are required at least 24-hours in advance. Afternoon Tea is $65 per guest plus tax and 18% gratuity. Credit card details will be taken to hold your reservation; payment is due at the end of your dining experience. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hrs will be charged at full price.

    We went for their afternoon tea and it was perfect. The service was wonderful. Joe (our server) was all smiles and kindness. The savory sandwiches were all extremely tasty and the desserts were all delightful. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with stunning views. I can't recommend it enough. A must do when in Victoria.

    Simply Amazing The service was excellent with David being accommodating in every way, including helping us with parking. David knew his menu and guided us to a dining experience par excellence. The food has a fusion of flavours where every bit bursts in your mouth. We loved the salad with candied nuts, very fresh greens, poached apples and chèvre. The risotto with aged Italian cheese and a variety of mushrooms was a table favourite. Yum!

    This was a great surprise. We were recommended to visit and were very pleased. The ambiance was better than the pictures showed. The view of the inner harbour was incredible. The staff were friendly and well educated on the menu. The cocktail selection was great. The food menu was not large, however the structure was very good and the food was incredible. We had the Mushroom Risotto, Fingerling potatoes, Scallops and Octopus. Each was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The scallops were a bit pricy at $32 for 3 scallops, I would have expected 4. That was the only negative of the whole night. I would recommend for sure.

    Love the small plate concept. It’s much easier to order the amount of preferred food this way. We shared several very flavorful dishes. Staff extremely professional and friendly. Will definitely be back. Actually this was our second time!

    Our server was so personable (Cain) and really served us well. he was so knowledgeable ...lucky us... The chicken and octopus were top notch...The carrot dish and rolls were fantastic. The person who ordered the beef wasn't keen on it but that could have just been his taste... Sitting under the heaters on the patio was a real treat. We watched the lights, boats, and Harbor Air...great walkway for before or after stroll...

    It was a short walk to the restaurant from the Fairmont Empress Hotel. We were greeted promptly and seated with an expansive and beautiful view of the waterfront at night. Our server was one of the best we've had in fine dining and she told us upfront that the food is meant to be shared and each dish will be presented only when it's ready. My daughter and I shared fresh shucked oysters and a warm Parkerhouse as the appetizer, then the seared lingcod, a 6 oz flatiron steak, and fingerling potatoes for the main course. Each was uniquely different from other presentations we've had at other restaurants (e.g. the steak came with a slab of blue cheese on the top). My daughter thought that the lingcod was the best which was music to my ears. For dessert, my daughter ordered Mille Feuille which we've only seen on the Great British Baking Show -- and never tried in person. All together a memorable occasion.

    Hostess was very accommodating and the server was extremely professional. Not a typical take your order and, serve, check back and bill. He took the time to pay attention and observe the progress of our meal, with an overall comfortable demeaner. We order the octopus and the dry age ribeye, the octopus and ribeye was cooked to perfection but the ribeye did not taste dry aged at all, it did not have the distinct dry age funk taste. It is also smothered in two thick slices of blue cheese, it was a tad too salty and overpowering the ribeye's taste.

    The experience was confusing. When we received the food it was good but we did not know when or what we would receive next. We have eaten at Aura before but not with the new menu and system of service and to be honest we did not really like it. As our doctor friend said, it is not a good idea these days to share food around.

    Lovely location overlooking the Inner Harbour. Wasps, though, are similarly enticed by the yummy afternoon tea fare, so beware. Food is quite good, though items that might have benefited from being heated up a bit, were less flavorful than they should be. the savory selection was interesting; the sweets could have used a tart, cookie and/or bar option; just a suggestion. Also guests should know that if you cannot cancel your tea reservation 24+ hours in advance, you will be charged for the guest(s) who can't attend. My husband took sick Saturday morning and we thought it best for him not to come to tea that day, both for his sake and for the sake of those he would be near. I was charged for his tea, and his savories and sweets were packed up for us to take home (not the tea, of course). Staff were excellent and service was efficient. Lastly, even on the outdoor patio, you cannot bring a dog (of any size).

    Such a great high tea in Victoria! Great food selection. Just absolutely beautiful. The view was amazing. Only complaint would be that I dislike yuzu and it was plentiful. Would definitely go again.

    The room was freezing, the menu shockingly small and for the offerings, way too expensive, and, my first drink, a margarita, seemed to have little to no alcohol. I mentioned this and had one more that was slightly better. Don’t think we will be back.

    Overall, the food is delicious and fresh. This restaurant rated high and I thought I gave it a try. We’re from the United States and chose Victoria for a good weekend vacation and to celebrate my best friend’s birthday. I made the reservation long enough and I was disappointed on the lack of effort and they didn’t even try. I made a note that we are going to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and I had to remind the server about it. I felt that they didn’t even read or acknowledged my requests. Again, the food were delicious but no effort or special touch to make you feel that you are special for just one night.

    Amazing service and food, with a unique take on sharing plates. Has a lovely view of the Victoria inner harbour. A lot of naval traffic in the way of ferries and sea planes, but that’s barely something to complain about. Good for both fancy and casual dining. Will not hesitate to return.
