   Great choice for theater goers who want the option of breakfast rather than lunch on Sunday! It is open early so you'll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy your meal. You can even walk around Downtown Crossing before heading to the Opera House.

   The waiter was super unprofessional. In the middle of taking our drink order, he just walked away to another table. Then, when he noticed I was upset, he came back to finish the order, and proceeded to get the order wrong.

   Do not have the pork belly tacos. They were chewy and they have BBQ sauce which doesnt really go with a taco. The fried Calamari was soggy and not crispy. The fish taco had no flavor because it was over stuffed with cabbage and the fish had no flavor. A little cilantro would have helped. The turkey club was good and the french fries that came with it were hot and crispy. Of all we ate, the turkey club was the best.

   Our go-to place before the theater. This night was exceptional because of the service. Our waiter ABEL was above and beyond. His personality and friendliness exceeded the norm. We were almost late for the show because we so enjoyed talking with him! Thank you Abel for making our night special. We hope they appreciate you.

   Sllloooow service. We were the ONLY ones in the dining room. I informed our server that we had to get to a 7:30 show. Arrived at 5:50. Dinner was served at 6:40! No time for coffee or dessert. Food was delicious. Clam chowder outstanding. Caesar salad generous and good. Salmon special cooked perfectly.

   We had a large party spread out across multiple reservations and they were able to easily accommodate us. The hostess, and our waiter were amazing. The rest of the experience was sub par. We were spoken to rudely when trying to problem solve and ask clarifying questions. Much of our party felt uncomfortable. It's clear this was not the restaurant for large groups or anyone wanting to socialize above a whisper.

    The pork belly was more mushroom than meat and the broccoli was drastically undercooked. The cocktails were subpar. Both the Boston Cream Pie and tiramisu we terrible

    Went for the Dine Out Boston Prix Fixe menu. First course was "vegetable soup." It was huge chunks of uncooked carrot (not bize size at all) floating in some vegetable broth. To add insult to injury the soup wasn't even hot all the way through. The entrees were brought halfway through the soup and the staff didin't even think to remove the soup bowls until dessert came. Dessert was very good and the mashed potatoes were delicious.

    What a perfect place to dine before the Theatre. Able to park at the hotel and walk across the street to the Opera House. Meal was delicious. Drinks were perfection. Servers were attentive and we had a delicious dessert to celebrate a birthday!

    We were pleasantly surprised to walk into the restaurant. Wonderful ambiance. Delicious food. Not sure why some posted reviews are so negative. As a matter of fact, I tried to book elsewhere based on poor reviews but am glad that we decided to dine at Avenue One. Would highly recommend especially if attending a production at the Opera House. They even had a pre fixe “Hamilton” option that was fantastic!! $52 for glass of wine, salad, entree, dessert. It was definitely worth the price if not more.

    The service was very good. Our server was funny and friendly. The clam chowder and calamari was good, but nothing to write home about. My husband had a Turkey club. In the description, it said shaved turkey, but he got two sad little pieces of deli turkey on a sandwich that looked like it was tossed together yesterday. I got a Cobb salad and the chicken was bland and rubbery. I won’t go here again.

    Great option when staying at the hotel, really good food at a fair price. Get the Lobster Grilled Cheese!!!! As good as a lobster roll and cheaper. When we checked in to the hotel we got wooden tokens for a free chowder. Since my wife doesn't eat chowder, they gave her a different soup instead. very nice.

    Restaurant was busy but because of high ceiling it is very quiet. Got a selection of apps and shareables which were amazingly good value. Enjoyed everything. Service is always wonderful- 5 stars

    The food was spectacular. The service was excellent. They even had a special deal menu tied to the show we were going to and cocktails to fit the theme. It's a little pricey to do regularly, but we will definitely be making a reservation the next time we go to a show in the city.

    This restaurant has a great location, but we found the food to be mediocre. The flavors were too complex and we found bacon in our spinach salad. That indicated or us that the kitchen staff could be more mindful of what they are cooking. The place was very quiet and comfortable, with reasonable prices. Just not the special dining experience we were looking for. I give them three stars and not one photon more.

    We decided to park and eat at The Hyatt prior to attending Hamilton on one of the coldest nights of the year! Our dinner was good, clam chowder and fish and chips were good. Prices were reasonable and our server was very good. I would definitely park/eat here again out of sheer convenience of the location to the Opera House.

    Service was slow, appetizer was not brought to the table. English was a bit of a problem for the staff. Food was OK, not great, but it is a hotel after all. Luckily we had a Travelocity coupon. Clam Chowder was pretty good though.

    We came before seeing Hamilton across the street! Super convenient and the food was yummy, and we loved their Hamilton-themed menu! The only thing is that it was a bit overpriced for the quality.

    Have a fantastic meal at Avenue One ! Wanted a quick bite and drinks before the heading across the street to the Opera . Service by Ahmed was top notch , he kept us on time and entertained . Will definitely head back.

    Our waiter should be fired on the spot for the erratic treatment he gave us. Worst waiter I've ever experienced. We ordered the braised beef, and what came out could be best described as overcooked pot roast. It was utterly disgusting and I sent it back. The entire restaurant/hotel was absolutely freezing; They must have kept the thermostat set to 60F. My wife wasnt the only one wearing their overcoat while eating. We left dinner, and actually canceled our stay at the hotel for that night. This was the absolute worst hotel/dinner experience we've ever experienced.
