Ayden Kitchen & Bar
Delicious coktails and delicious food. Warm atmosphere and good service. Had a lovely evening at Ayden Kitchen and Bar.
Service was very friendly and prompt. Food was all delicious and not a long wait time. Restaurant had a nice, chill vibe to it!
This was our first time at Aydens. The service was excellent, very friendly staff. The meal was fantastic, not a huge amount of food, but we were expecting that. The quality and taste made up for the smaller plate. We did not leave hungry though. It was my birthday and I was given a complementary dessert which was excellent. We were encouraged to go to the open kitchen and meet the chef, which we did. I would highly recommend Aydens, and we will definitely go back.
The food was delicious. The service was stellar and the atmosphere was lovely. There were several gluten free options for the large plates. Selection of the small plates was limited.
We both ordered the chicken and our meal was delicious. The waitress was very polite and helpful, made suggestions and didn’t push. We succumbed to desert, the Madelines, and again they were Iver the top. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience, we will be back.
Nice environment and good food. I hope they relocate to a better location.
the food was really good cocktails amazing i would go back
Cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The food is definitely the star of the show and they strive to ensure your meal is perfection.
My husband and I finally made it to Aydens last week for his Birthday.Luved everything ! The atmosphere and service was excellent, food was so awesome. A " must" in Saskatoon.
Great food, cocktails, and service. Seating was a little cramped, but the overall experience was excellent. Our server was outstanding and helped to make the evening magical.
It was our second anniversary and we had gone to Ayden on a couple of our first dates, so we thought it appropriate to go there again.
I had the pickerel it was fantastic.
She had the pork chop special and loved it!
Our server was Jamie, who was very pleasant and provided excellent service. She even helped me re-propose to my lovely Wife, Laurel, who said, “yes” again!
So it was a fabulous dinner and created even more fantastic memories for us.
Carefully crafted food with attention to detail and great wine pairings. Really exquisite flavors
Our server was delightful and knowledgeable. Definitely a place we’ll come back too
Chantrelle mushrooms on toast were fantastic.
Outstanding service and very creative menu items. Really enjoyed the meal.
The service took forever. Even just to have someone approaching us and serv water took way too long.
The food was ok. The duck was good but the fish was overcooked and bland.
It was loud. We love the food. The burger was very dry. Warm drinking water. We will go back.
Waitress was Awesome ! I had the Pasta (beef) was exactly what I was craving !!! Delishhhh ! My wife had the Risotto with Chantrels and she Loved it !
We had a reservation but got sat by a large and very loud group. We had to ask our survey for a different table so we could actually visit and talk. The portions of the food where very small considering The casualness OG the restaurant. The taste was good but not spectacular. The reinterpretation of some of the classics was interesting but well it all just fell short of what it could and should be. The hole dinning experience starts from the time you enter and continues through till leaving. The bill wasn’t even presented nicely. I would definitely not recommend this place and have to say I was very disappointed.
Had a great server, food was good but small portions for men.
Tonight we attended Ayden's for my birthday supper. I couldn't have had better service or felt more appreciated than I did tonight. It is hands down the best service anywhere we have ever gone.
The service is excellent and friendly, and the food is always amazing. Professional staff with a great inside vibe to match. Thank you, Ayden!
Jack the waiter was great. Food and drinks amazing
I was disappointed in the presentation as well as the amount of salt that was on my steak. Though not our server, Harry made the night for us.
Weenjoyed our evening very much had 2 appies shared a main and dessert..wine and cocktails. Lovely server..the prok with rhubarb abd the risotto were both outstanding but the tartare was tad less so, we both felt too many added ingredients altho I love capers there were a lot the beef irself lovely..a lovely pavlova for after dins and a good time was had by all in our vicinity. Thanks a lot.
Ayden Kitchen & Bar was recommended to us by word of mouth. We drove all the way from Edmonton and stopped when we were driving through Saskatoon. We booked a reservation for 8 pm on Aug 1st/19. The hostess didn’t say much and was not very friendly. She sat us at a tiny table by the bar area right beside the doorway. We felt immediately that we were in the way and it seemed as though it didn’t matter that we had a reservation. There were so many other larger tables and booths available. We asked to be moved to a better location and the guy who moved us - sat us at the smallest table in the back of the room. . Which wasn’t much better than the first. The wall and floors were vibrating because of the dishwasher that was directly below us. This immediately put a sour taste in our mouth and definitely tainted our first experience. When the server came to ask us about drinks, she asked if we had been told about the specials - which we hadn’t. Our server however was very attentive, informative and prompt with our orders. Food was absolutely excellent. Ambience was very nice but we wish for how $$ the meal was that we would have been moved to a larger more comfortable table.
An excellent night out with some surprising and delicious choices.
Absolutely amazing. The crunchy, tart rhubarb served with the starter called “PIG” (cheek and jowl roulade) is an inspired pairing.
By far the finest charcuterie plate (all made in-house) I’ve ever had. And this is a dish I sample whenever available, so I’ve had a few...
I will definitely be back on my next trip to Saskatoon.
It was really great...but a little noisy at the start...and the feature appetizer was delicious but we were expecting bright bold blue mushroom...and they weren’t exactly as we imagined! The Rose wine was so perfect!
Hadn’t been to Ayden’s for 2 years. Two years ago the veggie burger was the best thing I had ever eaten. This time around the quality was poor and it lacked flavour. My husband had the steak and he was also disappointed. Usually high end steaks are not seasoned with a bbq seasoning but this one was. Food overall was not good. The speciality drinks were amazing and the service was great. Will not be eating here again but would go back for drinks.
Overall it was a great date spot! It was kinda too dark to read the menu, which was good for a laugh! Food was amazing!! Not too many choices on the menu, but that is sometimes ok.
Excellent food and service
Great food and service! I would definitely recommend this place .
This place is New York quality. The menu is amazing the wine list is solid and not over the top expensive. The staff are incredible. Makes one ponder moving to the Toon!!
Great service, lovely decor, but was so so loud to visit. Probably won’t be back as like to enjoy the people I am with at meal.
Service was outstanding!
The portion size on the carbonara was meagre - to say the least. And for $30 I thought it was a fairly excessive price for the serving. Realize that the mushrooms were fresh, etc., etc., but not sure the value of the meal met the hefty price point. Delicious for sure, but a little disappointed in the portion. And, yes, I realize that this is the state of the servings these days, but a wee bit more may be in order.
It was good
Food was very good, cocktails very good, service was excellent. The space is very noisy when it's busy, but otherwise a great space! Their take on the perogy was excellent!
Service was lacking, our cocktails arrived well after our dinner which was only warm. Very disappointed!
