   Two of shared 3 appetizers and a couple drinks. The food was delicious and were both unique and tasty. Had a slight misunderstanding with the waitress about the bill causing a bit of delay but everyone was great about it. Going to be sad to see Ayden go, I've always enjoyed my dining experience there.

   We really enjoyed the wine pairings with each course that came out of the kitchen. My favourite of the meal was the rich creamy risotto as well as the mini madeleines that came as a surprise with the dessert. A wonderful experience which I am glad we had a chance to enjoy before the restaurant closes.

   Hurried us out as soon as we sat down. Things came really quick and had to tell to slow down. Main Waitress was not interested in being there. No smiles at all. Small portions for price point.

   experience was interesting, had the four course meal, not as blown away as we thought we would be. We gambled and lost, maybe would feel differently another evening with a different combination of the four presentations. Value for money not sure. Didn't feel the experience lived up to the hype.

   The appetizers (vegan samosa), the main course (arctic char) and dessert (creme caramel) were simply delicious. Service was impeccable. Great place for date night!

   I ordered the burger, I’m not very adventurous so it felt like my only option. The burger was cooked exactly how I like it but it was under seasoned and the egg I added to the burger was over cooked and had no runny yolk which is the whole point of ordering. The fries were salted to perfection but they were so dry that I couldn’t eat them without ketchup and I don’t even like ketchup. It sounded like everyone else really enjoyed their meals but for me it wasn’t worth the money for a really underwhelming burger. There was also a really really loud and obnoxious group of women behind us that kept screaming and yelling and they made me want to leave as well. Our server was excellent.

    We generally enjoy a series of shared appetizers over a single large meal each. However, apart from the pleasant feature cocktail, most of the appetizers were disappointing. The majority of offerings were deep fried, with even the tempura shrimp being heavily breaded and oily. The roasted carrot parsnip with goat cheese and walnuts was nicely done. The crème caramel was also well made, smooth and rich.

    We had the family style 4 course meal with wine pairings. The chef chose the courses and wines for us and it was so much fun and delicious! Our highlights were the roasted parsnip salad and the creme brulee. Thanks for a great evening.

    Really enjoyed the food. Appetizer: Beef tartare - very good. Loved the pickles in this dish. As a main, I had the featured fish which was a pickerel. It was delicious! The tartar sauce and the brown butter sauce were soo good. It came with a parsley croquette which I had never even heard of and it was really good especially with the brown butter sauce. As dessert, we had the warmed madeleines with chocolate sauce. Madeleines are my absolute favorite and these did not disappoint. Fresh from the oven, slight lemony flavor, YUM. Thanks for a delightful meal/evening!

    Enjoyed meeting up with a friend we hadn’t seen in a long time from Prince George. Only been there once before, well before Covid(we live out of town and don’t go out much for dinner). Glad I picked your fine establishment!

    Usually we love Ayden's. Last night, thought, the pickerel was bland, and the risotto was mainly sauce and very rich. Appies were good - always love the prawns.

    The food was good, the service was slow. It took at least an hour between our appetizers and our main courses and we were seated early, ordered right away and the restaurant was not very busy. We understand the appeal of a fine dining experience but, we had children with us and the wait between the two courses was a bit excessive.

    Our meals and drinks last night were excellent. 2 couples. Appetizer for one couple was Beef Tartare; excellent. Appetizer for second couple Tempura Prawns; excellent. Meals, the ladies had the Arctic Char which they said was fabulous I had the house burger and it was excellent. Best burger for a premium restaurant that I have had in a long time. It was excellent. My buddy had the steak and he said it was absolutely awesome. In fact couldn’t finish the 12oz cut. No room for dessert as we were just too stuffed. Overall an excellent evening. We would highly recommend Ayden Restaurant if you have a chance to go.

    Dined here with my wife and sister largely on the basis of Chef McKay’s fame and appreciation for his cooking. Nothing disappointed. We had the chefs tasting menu which they were easily able to adapt to my wife’s allergies to seafood and nuts. Every dish was an experience and absolutely to die for. We also chose the wine pairings and this was done very well including a red Greek wine which was spectacular. Service was fantastic … loved it, loved it, loved it!!!!!

    My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary and had the Chef’s Tasting Menu. We had such an amazing experience. Our server was so attentive and took great care of us and the food was to die for. They were also very accommodating to my dietary restrictions and it definitely did not take away from the experience at all. Overall the experience was so amazing and memorable and we will definitely be back for our next celebration! We like a quiet atmosphere so we decided to go earlier in the evening which was great!

    Striploin was done perfect and seasoned to perfection. Prawns were excellent. Everything was delicious. Service was really good. Our server was busier with a large table so was a little slow at times for us but that was minor. All in all great food, good service and good atmosphere.
