Several times we were brought something we didn't order, staff looked pretty disorganized.
Excellent location , great ambience. Food was very tasty
We had the most amazing meal at Azumi! The service was terrific. I would highly recommend going there.
Good ramen, good sushi. Great location but you're paying for it.
My friend and I LOVED Azumi!!! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Food was DE-LICIOUS and so were the drinks. This was our 1st time there but we will be back👍
Always delicious food and great for a lunch meeting!
Omakaze lost it’s touch. Too salty and too americanized. Used to be good a couple years ago
Outstanding sushi and table service. Pricey, but worth it. Music was a bit loud for easy conversation, but not headache-inducing. Would definitely eat there again!
Enjoyed a relaxed and excellent lunch. The service was perfect (considerate, professional, friendly).
The food quality and presentation was exceptionally good (various fish dishes). Noise (music) was not too intrusive but can be notched down a bit for more comfortable conversation. The ambience is good and the overall aesthetics of the restaurant is harmonious and restrained.
During a previous visit to Baltimore in May we enjoyed an excellent dinner (for 7) at Azumi that reflected equally high standards in the evening. It is my go-to quality Baltimore restaurant.
The experience we had last evening, was super! This was a birthday celebration for one of our group. I can’t say enough for the food, service, and ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant. If you are lucky enough to be seated in one of the front booths, you have a lovely view of the water. Icing on the cake!
Great service by Carlie. Delicious food
I went to Azumi with my wife and we loved the atmosphere. Amazing Japanese design and great great area with beautiful view on the water. We had sushi and honestly they weren’t as great as we expected them to be ..but honestly I enjoyed tho my wife said it’s ok. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Yes we will definitely be back! Thanks you Azumi!
Good restaurant with good outside view....but no wow factor.
best sushi in baltimore. a bit pricey for baltimore though. location is solid but parking in that area is a mess.
Azumi never disappoints - great menu and outstanding food. I especially like lunches here; dinner time can be noisy. It’s a great location on the harbor and the restaurant ambience is great too.
Tasty sushi pleasantly presented. Desserts were wonderful esp. the strawberry shiso ice cream
Waaaay overpriced for average sushi. We also ordered a few appetizers, including the waygu robata to share. The best value was the ahintuna salad. $300 for 3 people was a bit much. Also, it was empty. Maybe consider running a special to entice people to come.
While the food was good, it wasn’t up to the hype. Our wait time on food was over an hour. Our waitress was on the verge of tears due to the kitchen being so slow. I’d recommend Shoyou or Matsuri for sushi that is just as good, better priced, and with a more reasonable turn around time on orders.
We were looking forward to dinner at Azumi after having read some excellent Yelp reviews and reviewed the menu. First the positives; the location, view and ambiance were great. The restaurant is located on the inner harbor and has a beautiful and relaxing view onto the harbor, at least from the booths located along the windows. Also our server was excellent; very attentive but not over bearing. As for the food, we were somewhat disappointed. We love sushi, particularly sashimi and probably have sushi 9/10 times when we dine out. Based on the reviews and the prices, we expected better. We ordered a $275 platter of sushi with chef selections of sashimi, nigiri and two specialty rolls. We also ordered a number of appetizers and some additional sushi as the platter was not enough for four people. In short, the quality of the sushi was good but not great and certainly not exceptional. The appetizers we had were similarly good, but nothing special. That being said, the green tea and premium sake selections we tried were excellent. So, I would recommend Azumi for its location, ambiance and service but would suggest you stick to maki rolls and not expect too much from their sashimi or nigiri selections.
My sushi never made the table before everyone had completed their meal
Manager brought my dinner over as we were about to order dessert
Totally inappropriate and only perk was to take sushi off of bill
Nothing complimentary after clearly their mistake
Would eat here Avery other month but now find myself disinterested with the service
Music was so loud we couldn’t hear across to table from each other
There are better restaurants around frankly with a wider choice and Moe wappetizing sushi. That is if you have the chance to be served
Throughly enjoyed an evening in baltimore on Labor Day with my visiting parents and partner. We LOVED our server Kayla she was attentive, charming, thoughtful and a talented server.
Excellent Dinner g
Great customer service by management. Food was good but not great
Azumi is always a treat! The sushi is exceptionally fresh and beautifully made, and the wagyu beef is sheer perfection. We splurged this time and got the wagyu double strip steak (served with flaming salt). The two steaks were perfectly cooked, served sliced on platters ... there was almost more than the four of us could eat, since this wagyu is so rich and flavorful it's almost like bone marrow. We do wish Azumi would bring back the super thin-sliced wagyu cooked at the table on a hot stone, since sometimes you want to enjoy the wagyu without ruining your appetite and missing out on all the other wonderful dishes and sushi.
Excellent food. Amazing seaweed salad.
Wine choices were great
Sushi was delish
Booth was cozy & great view of harbor
Azumi is a great Habor East restaurant and it's even better to sit outside and enjoy the view. The sushi never fails to be excellent and is always delicious.
Excellent food offerings and service! Wish we had discovered this gem earlier. Good for everyday dining to special celebration.
Went for my husbands birthdays. We had such a great time. Drinks and food was AMAZING. will come again when we visit Baltimore
Awesome outside patio setting on a beautiful night. Great service and excellent views
Valet parking was fast and easy, server was professional and polite. Place was beautiful and would definitely go again
Awesome service and delicious food! Loved the ambience.
Great sushi. Beautiful view of the bay. Great service and valet parking
The first time I went to Azumi it was amazing, but the second time the rolls all just tasted off
It was great!
Food was superb.
Service paralleled food.
The restaurant is beautiful.
The location on the water is picturesque.
Pricey, but good value for dollar!
Service is incredibly slow. The food was not worth the wait. We had to ask several times for our drinks and food.
Everything was fantastic!!
Great! Loved everything about this. My daughter and I went here for our own special “date night” and we really enjoyed it. Great menu and aesthetics of the restaurant was exceptionally pleasing.
