This is a hidden gem! My sisters and I went for lunch and it did not disappoint, we loved the relaxed atmosphere and the spectacular view to start, the food came quick, presentation was excellent on the meals and the desserts and we all thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. Strolled the grounds after to take it all in and it was a great way to spend the afternoon!
It was an Excellent experience and we will be back.
It was a great experience. Great food, great service, amazing scenery. Just a great place for any occasion whether special or casual.
I had dinner at Azuridge for my birthday, wasn’t sure what to expect but friends recommended it so we got a driver (didn’t want to drive as we were planning on having a few drinks and some wine) was a nice drive to get there, walked in and was greeted immediately. Was seated by the window and the view was beautiful! Our server was wonderful, she was light hearted and made great suggestions! I had the chilled crustation appetizer (was a little disappointed with that but we are in the prairies) then went on to have caprices salad, which was very tasty! For our main course I had mushroom ravioli which was to die for! The sauce was creamy and the ravioli was cooked to perfection, bravo! The wine selection we had was a beautiful cub sav (Edge) was very nice! Over all will definitely return, well worth the drive! Yum!
We sat outside for Father's Day brunch and it was such a beautiful place and relaxing time. The food was great.
It was our 35 th Anniversary and we were treated like a royal couple
Service and dinner was awesome
We will be back again for sure.
Thanks to all
All around excellent!
Over all enjoyable but the room is not warm for dining. Not much of a view too many trees
And it was a cool night the fireplace should have been on guests were wearing sweaters.
Staff were very pleasant and the service was good.
The streak was outstanding but the vegetables were not hot. The pasta only rated a 6 out of 10. Deserts were good but very big portions and the coffee was wonderful
Although the architecture was very interesting the room lacked in ambiance for fine dining
Our third visit and we'll return - great place to entertain foreign guests
What an awesome venue, great food and wonderful staff!
I loved it. The food was amazing.
When we went, there was also a wedding happeneing, so I did feel a little out of place, but the food and scenery was worth it. The best part was the "happy anniversary" carved ice plate. Great touch.
Had a fabulous dinner at Azuridge. The food was fabulous and the wine pairings were really fun and unexpected. Probably the most fun I've had with wine pairings in and around Calgary. Would recommend it just for that, but then there's just the gorgeous view and lovely service. My only teeny complaint (and it is barely that) is that the portion sizes are quite generous. We did 4 courses, and could have easily gotten away with only 3, but everything was so delicious that I had a hard time not finishing it.
Great place to meet up with good friend.
Our main server was good so I am not directing the low service mark towards him. The other servers seemed stressed and that I would blame on management. The time it took to get our food was unacceptable. I might forgive that if the food was exceptional, but I honestly couldn't believe how awful the food was. I was hugely disappointed for such a beautiful location. I can't possibly recommend this restaurant to anyone except for the ambiance. You'd be better of taking a picnic lunch or dinner on a mountain hike.
Our first time there. We had brunch and it was delicious.
Beautiful grounds. Nice drive and great views.
We will definitely go back.
Service and ambiance were amazing, but food was just ok.
Worth the price if you are more interested in the setting than the cuisine.
My steak & fries was barely warm.
Fabulous as it always is. No detail is overlooked.
Another wonderful brunch with spectacular service, food, and views from our table
Fantastic lunch in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended
Azuridge never fails to provide a great experience for my guests and for myself. One of the best places for Brunch in the Region ... And a wonderful drive!!
Everything was excellent, the location, the service, the food presentation and quality.
The chef took a moment and spoke with us and the staff gave us a tour of the hotel facility
Food was terrible for the price and the 45min commute capped off a wasted night. Service was the only good thing.
Beautiful location. Food will not disappoint. Service first class.
It was my nieces 6th Birthday and she wanted to go to a fancy restaurant. The service was over the top.
Beautiful views any time of year with great service!! Food was fantastic and topped it off with a grapefruit mimosas and fabulous dessert !!
My son’s 21st birthday
All in All, a pretty miserable experience. They told us when we arrived, the tables near the windows get a little cold, so blankets were available. So why not put us at one of the 7 or eight tables away from the windows ? An hour later , still no sign of any food, sat huddled in blankets. By the time we got to the main course, we didn't care much. My poultry duo was half cold, half rubber. Won't go back there again.
No lounge, no spot to have a drink prior to your meeting, no spot to have a drink after your meal. Very odd layout.
Food was ok, my wife's fish was very dry and lacked taste. My steak was very good. Ambiance is good, they offer blankets which is good and odd at the same time? If you are offering blankets then stoke the fire or turn the heat up. Tables are very long which makes conversation and romance difficult.
We eat out twice a week, and frequent many of the top restaurants in and around Calgary. I found the Azuridge to be very expensive for the quality of food. We also stayed at the Azuridge, again very expensive and not what we were expecting. Half full, no upgrade which seemed logical to me considering the amount we would be spending. Plus the sink in the room wouldn't drain and a few other things didn't work.
Sorry Azuridge I really wanted to like you but I was really disappointed.
phenomenal service and beautiful facility, will definitely be back
Azuridge lived up to my expectations as a special occasion destination for lunch. My guest and I enjoyed the friendly greeting and service throughout our visit. The meal was delicious- spicy linguine with mussels and clams for her and butternut squash soup followed by wild mushroom ravioli with prawns for me. My guest requested that her linguine be on the "less spicy" side and commented that it was prepared perfectly. Shared creme brûlée was a delicious choice to wind up the lunch. The grounds were lovely to take a leisurely stroll after lunch. A very pleasant afternoon and worth the drive!
Stunning location and a beautiful restaurant. The food was good but at a premium price. For that money you expect A+ quality but that was not the case (we had the duo of fish and the tuna was not super fresh). Furthermore the heating system was malfunctioning, so it was very cold in the restaurant. The waitress had to hand out blankets to make it comfortable. Service was really good, our waitress was super friendly and very caring.
My first time here and the food was phenomenal. Every course was exceptional and the atmosphere was very nice. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fine dining experience
FABULOUS! Pricey... but worth it! A dining experience!
My wife and I were married at Azu 3 years ago. We love it so much we come back for our anniversary every 2 years.
Beautiful location and amazing atmosphere. Dinner is a set price and you choose from a set menu for each course. Everything was wonderful except the steak was over cooked. Asked for medium rare and received medium well. Flavour was delicious though so we weren't upset in the slightest. A wonderful spot for a romantic date.
We arranged for a driver to pick us up for our date. He came to our place but left without even knocking on the door as we were ready inside. Returned 45 min later.
Service was good not great, same with food.
We went to Azuridge for our anniversary and had an excellent time. the food and
service were above par. I would recommend Azuridge to anyone looking for a
nice quiet meal with an excellent view.
We were blown away with the quality of food and service we received. Stunning views and novel layout made for a memorable tasting menus experience. Highly recommend
