Babette's is our go to restaurant for special occasions especially birthdays
Marla has put together a wonderful menu with seasonal changes. The choice of wines is excellent and there is a special pairings menu which makes selection easy.
Our waiter did a great job. I've always experienced superior service from the staff.
Very nice restaurant with inviting warm atmosphere. I loved the decor and especially the artwork on the walls. Our server was personable, funny and attentive. Every dish we ordered was delectable. I would not hesitate to return.
Babette’s is a classic that never disappoints. Great ambiance, service and food!
A fabulous meal with great service, as always. Nightly specials are especially recommended.
We went here for a belated Mother's day. As always, the food and service was amazing. We ordered all of our usual favorites and tried the Tuna as well this time. We of course had to end the evening with Banana ice cream which was yummy as always. We have a new favorite server, Cathleen or Kathleen (not sure the spelling). She treated us exceptionally well and just added to the overall enjoyment.
Lovely to sit out on their deck! Food and service was great.
I always like this place. The food is good and the service friendly. I would actually like a more formal service, but that is just me.
Babette’s never disappoints!!
Really enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent r! Highly recommended
Babette's is one of our very favorite restaurants in Atlanta, which is saying a lot, since there are many choices. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and the service is great. I had the veal (free raised) piccata, and my husband had the halibut. Perfect!
Six of us had a lovely time on the patio celebrating our friendship over the past 35 years and my husband's 70th birthday.
This is a lovely French bistro. The soups and small plates are enticing. My wife had the trout and I had the lamb loan chops and we split a creme brulee. It was a memorable evening
It was a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely go back.
We ate on the porch on May 4. Pleasant day. Only issues were dumpster and parking activity. Given the weather, would choose the porch again and would definitely go back.
Consistently great food , professional service, and good value
Wonderful evening with delicious food and excellnet service. Easy parking too with valet.
Babette's Cafe is a quaint restaurant located in a beautiful area of Atlanta, with the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and park right across the street. The restaurant has a warm and comfortable inside dining area, but we chose outside on a slightly cool night. The tables each had a blanket over the chairs, just in case it got too cool. The scenery from the outside seating area is beautiful, with a ton of trees to keep things covered. The food is outstanding. We started with the Grilled Half Artichoke. This was a very different appetizer, but the grilling created a delicious taste of to start. We then ordered the Pan Seared Halibut and the Filet Mignon. These two dishes were cooked exactly as we requested and they were both fresh and flavorful. This place was an all around delight. Our only complaint was that we could not order other options on the menu that looked great too. I 100% recommend this restaurant if you are looking for excellent food, a good place for a date, or a relaxing evening.
Back for the halibut, and it didn’t disappoint! Love the pear martinis...Noise level was very low because we were on the deck...We’re long-time patrons but hadn’t been there in a long time. Great meal and wonderful server...
absolutely spectacular experience. food was artfully presented, tastefully prepared and an excellent value. Lovely attractive dining room. Ask for John our server who was incredible. Answered all our questions, was attentive but not obtrusive. A truly professional waiter not a server.
As always, they get everything right. Great food, great service, good wine list, great staff.
This place is a great little gem. Service was prompt and friendly. From the appetizer to main course to dessert. There is nothing we didnt enjoy. Will definately be back with friends to share this wonderful place.
The food was very good. The service was better. The best thing we ate was the homemade ice cream (butter pecan) and the fantastic date cookies. The pork ran a close second.
A charming dining experience in a beautiful home. We chose to dine outside on the porch and it was a perfect evening to do so. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive, knowledgable about the wine list and pairings. We ordered the trout and the homemade pasta with shrimp. Both dishes were wonderful - seasoned perfectly.
Server was excellent. She did everything right and didn’t hover.
Finally, an old fashioned restaurant of excellent food, space between tables for conversation, next to no noise, and superb, thoughtful service...a supreme value. Great place for special occasions. Thank you.
There are so many good restaurants in Atlanta but Babettes is my favorite. The food is always prepared by people who understand fine Cuisine.
I lived in Chateauroux France for 3 years and Babbettes makes me think of great evenings at a French cafe
We had a delightful dinner, consisting of an intriguing variety of creative, complex dishes, all with lovely presentations. The wait staff was charming, attentive, and efficient. It was a pleasant surprise when our first mention of "gluten" instantly produced a separate "gluten-free" menu. Among all the dishes we sampled, our highest ratings for scrumptiousness went to the halibut, lamb meatballs, and crème brûlée. The evening's only disappointment was the unavailability of a fabled fabulous flourless chocolate cake that had been on the dessert menu in the past. We're hoping it comes back, though it's hard to imagine its outranking the crème brûlée in scrumptiousness.
Gluten free menu is very lacking. No dessert other than ice cream or cream Burlee The owner cane out and talked to me which was very nice and will look into stepping up this part. They did. It celebrate my birthday at all. No acknowledgement of it even though my husband put it in open table. He enjoyed his Neal immensely. Waitress did not know her menu and if she had the owner or chef cone out they could have made me something like shrimp and grits. More education of wait staff would be good.
Wonderful restaurant with wonderful food & service. Always enjoy eating there.
Babette's is a long time favorite of mine. It is perfect for an intimate or group dining experience, after work or special event, and for enjoying great food in a casual setting. Food and service is among the best in Atlanta.
Food was wonderful and beautifully plated. Our server Mae was exceptional - was aware of our timeline, keep us on schedule in a very efficient way that allowed us time to enjoy dinner and dessert. Lemon pound cake - AMAZING
Quiet neighborhood Cafe. Been in this area for 25 yrs.
Our food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Great wine list. All our food was so tasty and as advertised
Babette's never fails to meet and exceed my expectations - year after year.
Waiter was excellent; food was fantastic;
Our first visit to Babette's and had a wonderful dining experience. I had the Trout which was prepared to perfection and the sauce was superb light with depth. My husband had the pork chop and raved how tender and loved the mushrooms.
Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive which added to this review. Definitely we will return.
Over the years we have developed a list of “go to” restaurants. Babette’s is high on that list. This past experience further cemented that feeling. I strongly recommend.
Babette's one of my favorite spots to dine at in Atlanta and one can never go wrong dining there.
Excellent service and ambiance.
From the moment we walked in, I knew Babette's would be a wonderful dining experience. We were welcomed with a big smile. The interior is beautiful. It has the ambiance of a café, and the richness of a fine restaurant. The service was friendly and the food was out of this world. We couldn't resist dessert. This was a business meal, and I'm so glad my friend recommended Babette's. If I lived in Atlanta, I'd go back in a heartbeat.
Chef owned and operated intown bistro. A real neighborhood gem with a thoughtfully developed wine list. The menu has something for everyone. If you're a fan of lamb chops, theirs is not to be missed. Always a fish or two on the menu and their version of steamed mussels is a not-to-be-missed treat. Dining alone? The bar keep will take good care of you
