Bacchus Restaurant & Lounge - Wedgewood Hotel
Nestled in Vancouver's only Relais and Chateaux property, the Bacchus Restaurant and Lounge compliments the luxurious Wedgewood Hotel & Spa's reputation for excellence.
As you walk into the restaurant, its attention to detail is immediately apparent. You are instantly surrounded by luxury, with richly upholstered furniture, dark wood, and light fixtures personally imported from Venice by founder Eleni Skalbania. These impressive features extend the hotel's brand of elegance. A large canvas depicting Bacchus himself, Greek god of wine and revelry, presides over the room.
Its talented culinary team offers modern French cuisine featuring fresh, West Coast ingredients. A great place to enjoy a truly gourmet, fine dining experience accompanied by live entertainment nightly.

Outstanding service, outstanding food, the pianist on duty (Dan) was a pleasure and just perfect with choices of music and. Plume!
It was the perfect evening!
Thank you to all!
Amazing place. Duck confit one of the best in city!
A perfect experience. Lovely old world setting. Impeccable food. Service was professional and warm. Mushroom soup has spoiled me for others. Pricey but worth every penny.
One of the best meals we’ve had in Vancouver.
As always, Bacchus food and service were exemplary.
My husband took me here for my birthday dinner. It was lovely from the moment we walked into the restaurant. Everyone was pleasant, friendly and informative. Our table was lovely and private. Our server was wonderful. He was there at all the right times, no hovering. The food was exquisite, delicious and beautifully plated. We ordered some wine and they were very complimentary to the food we had ordered. This place is a bit of a splurge, but so worth it for that special occasion. Can't wait to be able to eat here again.
Unfortunately we were initially assigned to a table right next to the piano player. This was unfortunate as the volume was such that to carry on a conversation we would have had to yell at each other. The staff took pity on us (frankly I would have left if they hadn’t), and moved us to the lounge. This gave us the added benefit of being served by a lovely lounge hostess - Japanese - who is absolutely delightful. A great save!
Too highly priced. Service was great. Our table was an issue as we were seated next to the door leaving out to the restrooms and next to a loud party of six.
Awesome as always
Very good food and great place to eat . Nice and warm
Salmon very overrated...small piece, over done...full of bloodline..
We celebrated our anniversary here while staying at the Wedgewood Hotel. Great ambience, good food and excellent service. Consistent with most fancier restaurants, the portions are on the smaller side for the price but it's well worth it for a special occasion. I'd definitely return!
I love this place dearly. So cozy and delightfully sophisticated!
Food was delicious, the service was excellent. Love the live piano. Decor was very tasteful. They made our anniversary feel so special!
What's not to like. I meet friends here for lunch frequently. We have never been disappointed in the food. The service is outstanding. We love the ambiance year round. Definitely worth a try.
Great! Good food and service. However it is expensive.
Having brunch at the Bacchus has become an annual tradition in celebrating Family Day. Its warm atmosphere, exceptional service and great food selections makes it an easy choice. Thank you for making another memorable year 2020.

Great brunch. Great service. Great food. Beautiful space.
Overall great restaurant. Great food and price!!
We love this place, and food is absolutely amazing
We had a wonderful dining experience at Bacchus restaurant on Valentines Day. In that special day, Bacchus had a set menu, we added an pair wines with it. The server Simon provided a professional service.
Wonderful room, great food, and the service is professional, friendly, yet unobtrusive.
Arrived to dine. When asked if wanted lounge or restaurant, we indicated the latter. We were seated immediately adjacent lounge. Very boisterous folks were on both sides of us (in lounge and restaurant) dropping F-bombs left, right, and center. Killed it for us. Left after starter for more a more chill atmosphere.
An upscale restaurant with live Piano, great food, service and ambiance.
This is as close to France as possible. The food was spectacular, the piano was fantastic the white table cloth, the atmosphere, the overall quality and attention to service. A little bit of Europe in Vancouver.
Food was good . Table was elegant. Piano music was nice. The thump thump base music before the piano was intrusive. The service was very poor— not up to par.
We've spent two of our anniversaries by the piano and fireplace. It's a great way to spend a cozy, upbeat evening.
The service is fantastic, attentive, but discreet and so kind. The food is incredible.
We always have a great experience at Bacchus Restaurant although this time I was disappointed that they could not accommodate my request for a medium rare burger whereas they have done so in the past.
We loved! We felt we were given the best table in the house, very comfortable, reserved and it was just a lovely dinner. Food was great and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you very much!
Love the ambience and the piano player as well food and service
Great ambiance. The food was really tasty. Service was amazing.
Loved loved it. Definitely will recommend and go again. Thanks.
Great atmosphere and exceptional service! Please bring back High Tea!
One of my favourites.. probably better to visit when it’s not dine out
The food and service was exemplary. We attended on the dine out Vancouver special menu and although the menu was limited it was still very good.
We appreciated the noise level who h was buzzy but no too loud to prevent us talking.
Service from Michael? Was professional and pleasant.
Food was good with interesting twists...not sure about the gnocchi with the veal.
Suggestion that hand lotion in women's bathroom be place on the shelf and soap left where it is. Difficult to distinguish in the dark.
Service was good -Scott was great- desserts as part of the dine out were not the highlight of the dinner. Truffle tiramisu and forest cake were both tried and left uneaten after a bit. My daughter ordered a la carte - sticky toffee pudding which she enjoyed.
All in all it is one of those places you forget about and I will definitely go back.
We had a very enjoyable evening. Very good food, our server went above and beyond. Very helpful with the wine selection. We particularly enjoyed the piano man, it was truly a special evening. Thank you to all.
It is a place for special occasions! The feeling of having food plus enjoying piano music is awesome!
