Bacco Ristorante - Michigan
Always the best! Agata & Elena are gracious, friendly and professional.
Good and service was excellent
The restaurant was VERY noisy, it made it difficult communicating with the person at my table. This atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy the special occasion dinner.
I have been to Bacco on several occasions and this was the worst experience ever. They didn't know how to cook Halibut that night, even admitted it, and really didn't do anything about it enough to make me ever want to come back. A free dessert really doesn't cut it when you've inconvenienced four people who came there for the fish dishes.
A wonderful anniversary dinner. The food was outstanding in every way and the service was exceptional. Looking forward to coming back again soon!
One patron of the party ordered the Orrechiate. The spaghetti was under cooked and the scallops were poorly cooked. When it was brought to the attention of the waitress the meal was taken back to be redone. When we received the re cooked meal it was even more lackluster. The bill also had an additional soup that was charged but not received and I did not notice it until the next day when logging receipts.
Food, service and overall lunch was perfect. We come here all the time.
Excellent meal, Elvis was a great server and helpful with recommendations. The hostess always remembers me no matter how long it has been between visits.
We were visiting from New York. The food was exceptional!
Went for a birthday and food and wait staff were wonderful. Our waiter was very attentive and made nice recommendations.
Just on a side note—-upon leaving and waiting for our car, one of the valets was not using the best language when conversing with a coworker. Not too classy.
All in all, a nice experience.
Birthday dinner was great!!! One of the best filets ever!
Classic Italian Restaurant with outstanding menu and service.
As always, magnificent. Service, food, ambiance. One of my favorites. Luciano stopped by our table which is always a treat. Thank you, Bacco.
Menu was interesting, portions adequate and the food was excellent. The service was also first rate.
Bacco is always a wonderful culinary experience. As far as I'm concerned, they are the best Italian restaurant on the Westside. Their food is always wonderful and it never disappoints. The people who run this restaurant are so pleasant and you can tell that they are just so happy to have you dining with them and to give you a great experience. The service always surpasses anything you could imagine. Out waitress's name was Ettina and we've been to this restaurant so many times, we've had her before but she is just so great. If you have not tried this restaurant, it's a must! We've been going for a long time and will continue to keep going.
No matter what time your reservation is expect to wait. They always over book and it’s not pleasant as the bar and lobby are small.
Our experience at Bacco was magnificent! The wine list is well crafted and the food was beautifully, masterfully done! We will be back! :)
We have been here about 6 times in the last 12 months. Always great food and service. Pretty much one of the only places around here I order pasta. Always have some fish and split an excellent salad.
Excellent meal, perfect setting for business
Not sure what is going on, but the last few times we’ve eaten here we’ve noticed a decline.
Inspired menu, perfectly prepared
Bacco is as good as it gets for Italian food in the US. Bread was great. Grilled octopus divine. Pasta spot on. Service impeccable.
The food was ok, server acted like we should have known everything on the menu even after we explained it was our first time there.
Very nice I’ll be ambience, great food, entertaining staff
Back never fails to disappoint. From the Parmesan cracker when you sit down to fresh baked focaccia bread. Everything is always delicious. Today had the salmon with the spinach zucchini purée soup. It was all delicious. Had to use the focaccia to soak up the last bit of flavors. Another amazing meal.
Food was good, but overpriced for the quality - noise level was horrible, service was ok, but overall not recommendable for a nice dining experience
kind of gave up on Bacco after last visit but tried them again on Saturday night. The food was outstanding I had the Papardalle with rabbit ragu it was amazing. My wife had the veal which was also cooked prefect and plentifully. Had the eggplanr appetizer and angel food cake dessert. Lucianno was there checking all the plates I was glad to see Bacco is back on its game.
The best Italian I’ve found in Michigan
Luciano has built a wonderful establishment based on excellence in service, food and providing the warmth of feeling welcome! Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best!
Excellent service and food
This is a great spot for dates and special occasions. we have been there twice and both times the food and environment were great.
Bacco is spectacular. Chef Luciano is arguably the best chef in Michigan and our meal was proof of that. We started with a beautiful scallop (stunning porcini sauce!) and shrimp appetizer followed by small portions of strozzopretti norcina (which would truly be my last meal, if I had to pick) and cavatelli with mushrooms. I then had the perfect osso buco. My dining companions were wowed by their lamb and salmon entrees. Tiramisu was a perfect ending to this lovely meal.
The service was spot on. I can’t wait to return.
As usual the food was great and the service very supportive and friendly!
Always worth going to Bacco!
As usual it was great! Warm and heartily welcome, great food, good wine, super service!
It is the closest to Italy in the US!
Bacco NEVER disappoints. I have had most of the dishes here, and honestly cannot pick one that I did not like. The quality of this food is unbeatable. Everything is cooked to perfection. Wine list is EXCELLENT! This is our go-to spot for major celebrations, and I highly recommend this establishment to all of my family and friends!
Detroit has long had its fair share of what might be called "comfort food" Italian restaurants, but only over the past decade or so have there been any truly world-class restaurants that go much beyond the classic red sauce and pasta types of dishes. Bacco is, by far, the best of the current crop. The meal starts with some lovely parmigiano reggiano. We topped it with one of the lovely champagnes available by the glass and then a marvelous Italian red. I'll keep this review short but suggest that every item, from appetizer to desert matched and exceeded expectations. I do suggest trying to get into one of the side rooms, including the enclosed (for the winter) patio, as they are quieter and more roomy than the main dining area. But the experience is lovely wherever you're seated.
Beautiful decor ,excellent service great wine offerings, valet
Avoid Bacco on Valentine’s Day - limited menu, overbooked, rushed through dinner, didn’t feel special.
From the Valet,to the hostess,to the waiter, to the food, it was an outstanding evening .
Treated very well. Honored my request for special table to celebrate important occasion.
